Happened to me couple of time that wallet-qt had to rebuild whole blockchain. From unknown reason or if I upgraded client to newer version. This process really takes a long time, but why is this happening?

It should not resync after an update. Can you look in the debug.log if there is anything that might help?

Well I let it rebuld it again, but is there something i should be more careful next time? Like, uninstall first, them install...?

No, closing bitcoin core, installing over the existing version and reopening always worked for me.

No, closing bitcoin core, installing over the existing version and reopening always worked for me.
Hmm ok, normally i uninstalled it first and than install it. Will try next time without uninstall. Thanks.
