The purpose of this post is to advise others that BTER.COM is still having problems. You may want to avoid them -- for good.

Within the last week I deposited crypto-coins and had no problems at all trading them. The fees were a bit steep, but the process was not bad at all.

Then I tried to withdraw them. Nothing happened. After 24 hours I opened a ticket. The next day came. Nothing happened. Then the next. Finally, I received a canned response that my withdrawal problem was being resolved. I waited a few more hours then opened may wallet again. Nothing arrived. I went back and looked -- my ticket was closed -- by BTER. I waited another day. Nothing.

I created another ticket, since the first one was mysteriously closed. The new ticket was then paused yesterday (12/15/2015) pending my response. I looked, they had responded -- again -- that they were working on the issue -- that the "DEV" was doing his or her 'thing.' This seemed to me to be a way of saying that they were working on the issue, but also a way of putting me off. I responded, which then re-opened the ticket.

And here I wait.

Incidentally, the type of coin I was working with is called Zetacoin and my wallet is working fine. I am able to transfer in from other sources without issue.

I have sent in July coins to my Qorawallet on bter.com. I see the coins in the blockexplorer but not in my account.
Since 5 months the support says: "we will fix the wallet as soon as possible.". But nothing happens. I'm not the only one with this problem.  :o  :o  :o  :o

most or may be all of the exchanges have not technical support for the wallets. Cryptsy suspends the FireFlycoin and others for more than 6 months.
Allcoins was freeze the Aurumcoin wallet and two months ago the site is off with "system message" on it.

After what happened with BitBay, people still use BTER? That was the last time I logged there, to withdraw my coins. If you hear one time that something isn't wrong somewhere, don't look back.

The way that site is managed, there will always be issues with it. Buying their own icos with "unlimited" btc was one thing but i heard about some other shady practices. Be careful.

I have several issues with different altcoins deposit:

MINT - solved after very-very long waiting and several reminders
XMR - 2 deposits - 2 tickets solved within pair of days
NXT - 1 deposit - 1 ticket solved within pair of days
AC - 1 deposit - 1 ticket still waiting for my coins

I withdrew: BTC, NSR, PPC, VRC without (thank goodness :-) any problems

I can't vouch for BTER's functionality but I can say this is posted on the wrong board, might want to move it before a mod does.

It is difficult to find where these posts should go -- but if the MOD moves it, great. I just think that the more info out there -- and the more recent it is, we will keep others from dealing with BTER -- and save them money.

I think if you edit the OP there should be a way to move it in the Additional Options link at the bottom of the editing box. There is a way to move a thread, but I have never done it myself so I can't tell you the exact way to do it. Search the editing box and you should find the button/link you need.

...and the SAGA continues with BTER.com They've now closed two of my tickets indicating that they did in fact send me my ZET. I guess they figure I cannot use a Coin Explorer. Third ticket opened. We'll see...

----finally - BTER.com fixed my withdrawal. Hmmm. One wonders about the delay...

EDIT [01/18/2016]: After 7 days I have received my LTC withdrawal finally, right now I have no more outstanding withdrawals from bter pending.

I have about 6 BTC worth of alts waiting for processing for more than 2 weeks. Now they even blocked XCP withdrawal as whole..

Yes this is true! I don't like them anymore just because they were deeply involved in scam. I don't have trust any more, also they had a problem with hacking and i think they are not safe as Bittrex or Polo..

I have (maybe had) an account there.
After they reconfigured the login process, I was not abel to log in anymore.
I tried to reset my password, and in that process I was supposed to get a confirmation mail.
That mail never arrived, I tried it several times.

Luckily I have no coins parked on bter. So I just have to have search another exchange platform.

Who faced QORA purse lock problem (Error: 203 wallet is locked) on BTER, as the purse is blocked for a long time?

I tried to withdraw XMR on bter.com on 20 Jan 2016 and the account shows an invalid transaction, which does not exist on the XMR blockchain.
I have submitted multiple tickets, they replied to one asking for the withdrawal detail (which I gave them immediately) but have heard nothing so far.
Submitted another ticket today.
Hoping this has a positive outcome.

I am waiting 5 days to income my ZET deposit. How is possible? I was send few tickets to the support with my address, blockchain to see that I use same address few times, but the last deposit is not shown.  ???

what focking happen's with this exchange..they no longer want to make withdrawals !! i want recover my funds..this stupid exchanges made me loss my time  >:(

long time a go i got this problem too,, i loss my BTC here and now i leave this exchange,,

why yu doesn"t can retrieve yur btc ?..please can yu explain me..I can not afford to lose that money..these are my economies.

if someone have the same problem we must do something for the withdrawal on this exchange to be available again.
