I was just thinking about creating a gambling site. Just wondering what the initial cost of setting up a gambling site would be, also how much would I make if my gambling site is somewhat successful?

Actually, you can make a lot of money at the expense of others. Why don't you try a currency exchange site instead?

You have to be willing to put the money into it in order to make from it.  If you aim for a 1% rake for the first startup of it and then take back to 3%, you have a better chance of making it work.

You need to first see if you are being realistic in what you are expecting to receive? It all depends on how much you put into it.  You need to make sure you are properly advertising.  The more people you get into the site the better off you are.  Even if you do not make anything the first few months, you need to give them a reason to come to your site.

This is incorrect.  You will make the profit because the system is set up so that they loose, just only a small percentage compared to the payouts.  For example, they may bet 100 BTC and only loose .005 BTC after playing over 1,000 hangs/games.  You just need the large numbers so that you can make that .005 off of everyone.

You are really can make money easy money if you are lucky and also you can multiply your bet in 2 or 3 times. But think twice before playing stuff like this.

You can make any amount from a gambling site but you can also lose any amount amount from it. Gamble what you can afford to lose.

It's a lot easier to make money on a sports gambling site than you may think, but if you don't have an interest in sports don't bother.  Patience and discipline are the keys to success.

It's impossible to say how much you will make, but the internet has made many people rich. Depends how much effort you put into it and you won't know until you actually take the steps to do it. You should definitely start with the laws around gambling in your jurisdiction, next step would be the multiple layers of security required and then you have to figure out how big you can get. After all putting so much into that steady income stream, it's usually pointless to sell it.

You can make ~ 200 - 400 BTC in first three years, if the gambling site will be popular. But keep in your mind that there are a lot of dice sites all around.  ;)

Depneds how lucky and exeprienced you are. But personaly, I don't know anyone who made a fortune with gambling, mostly people got into deep trouble by loosing big amounts. But if you can control yourself and play smart you can be always around 0 or in some small plus but don't expect to live from gambling.

Actually i m not touching the gambling sites. because i believe less profit is better than big lose.
