Islamic State said it was behind an attack by suicide bombers and gunmen in the heart of Jakarta on Thursday, the first time the radical group has targeted the world's most populous Muslim nation. Just seven people were killed despite multiple blasts and a gunfight, and five of them were the attackers themselves, but the brazenness of their siege suggested a new brand of militancy in a country where low-level strikes on police are common. But most of the members have been arrested by the police before that. Luckily it happened in broad daylight near a police station. :-\

But they failed to anticipate the quick response of the security forces. As you can see on that video, they were all cornered, and that bomb was prematurely exploded. They choose their target to countries outside Syria such as Southeast Asia where the majority of population is moslem. There are several ISIS growing cells to create chaos as it happened in Jakarta overnight.

Along with Turkey, Indonesia used to be one of the most secular Islamic nations in the world. But things have changed now. ISIS and other radical Islamist organizations are getting increasingly popular, especially with the younger generation.
