About to Maidak's service for purchasing a BFL Single from member nonlinear.  I'll update my post after the transaction is complete.

Buyer please send the amount to 14bsB5cugXFYaVZWsuoEYABd9gvkowv42a after they have been sent please post the transaction ID, and have the seller agree to the amount of bitcoins he will be receiving and to either post tracking info here or via PM to me. When the buyer confirms the package has been delivered and is as described I will release the bitcoins to the seller.

I just sent $581 of BTC to Maidak's address (14bsB5cugXFYaVZWsuoEYABd9gvkowv42a) with BitInstant; I will update with the BTC transaction ID once the payment clears BitInstant.  This amount includes the price of $575 + $6 tip for Maidak.

nonlinear is still in the process of getting out of the newbie section restriction and can post to confirm this once he gets 5 posts.

Update: Looks like BitInstant is failing like usual.  Every time I've purchased BTC with BitInstant the transfer fails and I need to contact support.  I've contacted them and am waiting.  They've always been good about completing the transaction, just that it's ~10:30PM here on the east coast so it might take until tomorrow for the BTC to go through. :/

So to my understanding you would like to send me BTC to purchase an item on amazon for a user using fiat? In order for me to do this I would be using coinbase.com so that it does not cost me any charges it would be after the coinbase.com fees.

No... you are supposed to transfer the BTC BEFOREHAND to the escrow wallet address.  Then once you receive your PP funds, the escrow will release them to xetsr.

IPO escrow service is now 7% for altcoin IPO due to high volume and the amount of time they require. This does not take affect in any current IPO also all current standard escrow is now a 1% flat fee also due to high demand the donations/tips were greatly appreciated however was not enough to keep the service free.

This might be a good idea for people to use for when you are offline, (to keep a transaction moving) however by default you should offer a new address each time so people can maintain their privacy when needed

Yeah the primary idea is certainly for any offline transactions that could be handled while I am AFK and just releasing the escrowed deposit as soon as I am back. What I do currently depending on the type of escrow is provide a 1 time use address for each escrow or a offline paper wallet generated from a piperwallet.

The concept of a static address in my original post seems like it would work and they could still keep their privacy of the transaction by keeping it between private messages, unless of course they already had a public post. If I did add this how would you guys think I should go about as far as the rules to using it?

You would need some kind of guarantee/proof that the person who claims to have sent funds to an address actually sent funds to the address; this can generally be done with a signed message, however there are a huge amount of people on here that have no clue how to sign a message, even after being given instructions for their specific wallet (they often need three or four tries). I might put a warning that it should only be used for advanced users of bitcoin and that you will have certain requirements to prove that funds were actually sent from a user's address in order to consider the funds 'theirs'

Yeah thats exactly what would need to happen. Sadly your completely right about majority of the users not having a clue how to sign a message.
