Space Credit Coin is a argon2 algorithm coin that will have a fast halving structure. The first 600 blocks will be worth 1000 SPACE, every 600 blocks the block reward will be split in 2 till it hit 1 SPACE per block.

This is a no ICO / no premine coin.

Yeah, that's what they are called when that happens, hopefully you get lucky again, I am still trying to get a block with the built in miner.

The miner I linked up there gives so much higher efficiency, each core is mining fro 1000-1200 h/s at the moment, with the built in one it was giving me max 2100 instead of 6-7k.

Read the start of the thread, there was an announcement but no wallets or info or even a source, then it was ninja launched just today, just because the stuff isn't right at the top of the OP doesn't mean you have to have a sook because you didn't get in early enough, look what DARK/DASH done at the start with their labeling.

Dont be so naive. Dev purposefully did not update OP so that less people would be aware and be able to mine it. Do you not also see how quick block halves?
I was around when dev posted launch and wallets but still did not choose to mine it because this shitcoin is too obviously shit.
DASH has many problems with it but it is by far better than this worthless coin so do not try and compare.

I've been in since just after block 100 & have hit a few blocks with my i3, I don't see why there is people complaining, shit the dev might not be accustomed to the normal procedures of setting up a Bitcointalk Altcoin Announcement.

There is 32-bit & 64-bit Windows Wallets + a Source so Linux users can compile, there is also a source for the Custom Standalone Argon2 Miners so running it on either system isn't a problem with adoption either.

Feel like this coin is very early adopter oriented, hopefully it has a fair launch

I don't think you are hashing that high, I have an i5 that is only getting 2000H/s-3000H/s on each thread so I get between 8Kh/s-12Kh/s combined since it is 4 Threads.

Solo mining setup (Windows):

1) Get the wallet
2) Get the miner at https://www.bitteaser.com/press-releases/?title=argon2-optimized-miner (https://www.bitteaser.com/press-releases/?title=argon2-optimized-miner)

Run the wallet once, quit, this is so it generates the .conf file in %appdata%
Go to %appdata%/Roaming/SpaceCredits/ and open up SpaceCredits.conf

Add this:
rpcuser=Argon2rpc
rpcpassword=rootpw
rpcport=35050
rpcallowip=*
server=1

Save the file.

Now make a shortcut to your wallet, Make sure your target for your shortcut looks like this: SpaceCredits-qt.exe -server

Now your miner shortcut, make one, target should be like this: cpuminer-win64-haswell.exe -a argon2 -o http://127.0.0.1:35050 -O Argon2rpc:rootpw

Use the appropiate cpuminer to mine.

I've contacted Yobit and C-CEX for listing.I didn't know that there was already a SPC coin. Never heard of SPC. They could always list us with another ticker symbol, but you are right, maybe i have to rename the ticker to SPCC.


All information will be released next week. First objective is to launch a coin that is working. Second is to have it listed on a exchange and third to release the roadmap.

Wallets and source links not added to the OP. Just over a day of mining and the rewards are already practically insignificant compared to the first few blocks.
Good luck getting anyone other than the 3 or 4 people who mined early to care about this.

It's barely been 12 hours and it's already down to 62.50 SPC per block, not quite the bright future for an altcoin, unless someone comes up with an original idea to let early adopters spend their earned SPC in a way.
I mean if info comes out this or next week, by the time it gets there, the coin could be down to a ridiculously low reward(1 SPC), I don't see this having a high value due to current distribution, however it could be fun to see something different than just a "mine and drop asap there's an exchange" coin once in a while, which is exactly what this looks like -right now-

You shouldn't have let people mine your coin this early into the project when there's no info about it, there was absolutely no competition whatsoever and the select few who were able to even setup solomining obliterated the blocks, whoever notices this thread +12hrs later is basically already too late to the party since there is no more incentive to mine.

That's was a perfect analysis...probably something was wrong with the (too) silent launch.
Under the echonomic aspec, the money supply curve distribution for the coin was wrong because the reward per block passed from 1000 SPC to few in less than 24 hours, so who still didn't entered have no interest to get in, and who already mined have a coin (at the moment) worthless.....the exchange open only the door of a big dump....
As another pal said, would be hard getting in some other than the 3 or 4 people who mined early...

I have noticed in the last week or two there have been several NINJA launches, bad spelling, broken english, taking up scrypt, x11, nist5, cpu.  This is like the media, we should be watching something else, not these shitty coins, there a ploy to draw mining power away from what ?  something is afoot here, something bigger is happening but everyone is blinded.  Ive gone from mining decent coins, to mining less decent coins, to scraping the bottom, now im mining the shit out of coins that arent even worth a simgle cent, i cant be the onlyione whose been led astray down this path.

Not exactly. There is no information yet and judging by the other argon2 coins that have been released, this one will go no where. Mining this coin would be for nothing other than something over or equal to a roi cost at this point, assuming you dont know any other info. All I am saying is a schedule like this shouldn't be disregarded, especially if there was/is an exchange right away. It gives the market a bigger spectrum of play, and even more so since the algo is only being used by cpu's. Assuming the hashrate is rational non-informed mining you would expect close to all coins to be in circulation immediately. I don't expect this to go anywhere, but if you would like some coins pm your address and I will send you some.

Definitely saw the OP post in the thread after being told to update his OP. I doubt this coin has any real future if there isn't any real effort behind doing something with it. Even if the coin hits 10 satoshi, the creator can still make 100-200$ from the baghold he has

This coin is theoretically at the end of the mining period, if this coin hits an exchange, then it will be absolute joke. I don't honestly think the value of the coin will go anywhere. Like I don't see it being worth more than 5 satoshi if even that

Maybe the dev can implement PoS so the existing coins can stake & also change the Ticker from SPC to something unused, then this coin could get somewhere.

He's not going to, it seems pretty apparent hes just trying to get this coin on an exchange as fast as possible and dump his huge baghold.
