I could take out a bill and flush it down the toilet if I want to, that wouldn't be very good, I could have invested it in something- but I can do that if I want. Who cares if people want to gamble with their money? They know the risks, people weigh up the risks and decide to do it anyway, should a government tell people what to do with their money?
