Heck S.Dice made 13,000 profit today and counting. Share price will go up pretty soon.

It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Smiley Bitcoin benefits from success stories

yeah as if gambling is a success for the public good
good for this eric verhoeer guy (if thats his real name) but bad for the rest of us

i play poker regurarily in a local casino and meet a lot of people, listen to their stories - and their stories are basically the same:
they start playing roulette or some other -EV game, win, get the roulette virus, bets increase, they lose

in the long run gambling destroys much more than it creates and sdice does not even create jobs or pay taxes!

You're flat out wrong to imagine any business is to be held at gunpoint by "the people" to justify itself through "paying taxes" or "creating jobs". What, you figure you're doing it a favor by its existence or something?

That's such an ivory tower argument to justify greedy and anti social behaviour.

Businesses are not abstract entities! They do affect people and if they do in a negative way then they are at least amoral.

The next time a gambling or drug addict robs someone, maybe the victim will be you. Is this the world "non-pinkos" like you want to live in?

Actually S.dice is profiting from criminalisation in USD online gambling, the same way SR is profiting from global criminalisation of Drugs. You don't have to use either.
Guess what the next big thing will be? Warez.

Guess what the next big thing will be? Warez.

Doubt that'll be such a terribly big thing. People want to spend money on gambling. People do not want to spend money on software. It is possible to make a business out of providing for people who want to spend money. It is impossible to make a business out of providing for people who do not want to spend money.

The only thing coming out of warez is drama, as the most recent Megadrama clearly illustrates.

People have the freedom to do what they want with their money. I could take out a bill and flush it down the toilet if I want to, that wouldn't be very good, I could have invested it in something- but I can do that if I want.

Who cares if people want to gamble with their money? They know the risks, people weigh up the risks and decide to do it anyway, should a government tell people what to do with their money? Why not tell us how to dress and where to live too.

How can you tell how much profit S.Dice made?  I mean I guess all transactions are public and you can data mine for transactions to the 1dice addresses and figure it all out, but is this info easily summarized publicly somewhere?
