how many coke cans you can buy with one dollar in your country?
I want to know the buying power for the dollar in different countries.

In Egypt, one can buy 3 cans (350ml) of coke for one dollar approximately

In Nigeria, coke is sold in cans and bottles. You can buy three 350ml bottles of coke for a dollar and two 500ml cans of coke for a dollar.

Don't you use the Egyptian Pound as currency?  What are you asking exactly?
Is it how much can we buy with an American dollar or one of our own currency units?

One dollar is obviously one dollar not any other currency.
And if we would use 1 unit of our local currency we couldn't compare the results with each other either.

In my country I can't get even 1 can with 1 dollar.

 Might be obvious to you but many countries use the dollar as a unit of currency.  Nigeria for example uses the dollar, Australia uses the dollar, Canada uses the dollar... not the same as a US dollar

In my country, you can buy 1-2 coke with one dollar. One dollar in my country is really big, it's around 13k per dollar in my country. You can even buy food include a drink with 1 dollar in my country.

 We don't even have a 1.2 l bottle or can here.  Hard to compare.

I think its better to buy more can coke here in my country and import it into other country so that you can make a profit..

It depends from place to place, somewhere you can buy up to 2-3 cans of coke (330ml), somewhere it is hard to buy even one can of coke, but in average you can buy 2 of them.

I can only buy 1 coke in can for $1. people can buy coke in cups particularly on fast food chains but then coke in can is different it almost cost about a $1.
people in our country only buy canned coke if they go camping and picnic as its convenient that people need not to have drinking glasses.

I can buy a lot for a Canadian dollar and more for USD but usually I get screwed on the exchange rate if I have to convert to USD and then back to CAD to spend it so I rarely if ever do that.  Also I usually drink Coke Zero but I don't know that is exists yet everywhere.

Well, in Canada, you can buy 1 can, which I guess is 350mL (I don't have any cans on hand at all), with $1. At least it doesn't cost more due to the CDN/USD exchange rate, but I feel bad we can't buy more cans like other countries can.

In my country I can buy 2 cans and if I will buy in bottle I can have 6 bottles in $1 the power of $1 is powerful in our country.

I just showed above where you can get 6X710ml bottles for $2.49 CAD which is just under $2 USD so given that 1X710 ml bottle is worth 2 cans, you can get 6 cans for $1 USD!!  You need to shop around.  At Costco you can get a cold 500 ml bottle out of a machine for $1 CAD.

I my country, we can only buy 1 can of Coke for $0.54 USD. But it depends on where to buy and when to buy. There are stores here who sells Coke in can at a cheap price specially if its near its expiration date that's why sometimes you can buy 2 Coke in can at the price of 1.

In our country you can also buy 1 can per $ its veru expensive in here because of the vat of government implemented. I think if they take out the vat the price of it will decrease and be cheaper. And not the coke can but all the price of the goods and products. But corruption of government will not let it out because they can earn bt it.

One dollar in where I live could only buy 1 coke in can, but if it's bottled, then make it two...in retail stores it costs higher compared to mini marts..Also, the brand, if it is cocacola, then the price is higher compared to other soda drinks..

If its canned coke then 2 piece of them for one dollar with change. 3-4 pieces of bottled coke for one dollar with change. But if you get the smaller ones, you can get 8-9 pieces of them for a dollar. And then a dollar for 1.5 liter coke.

I saw a replies of two coke in cans that's cheep on that country , on our country it was only one coke in can afford . So that i rather buy coke in a bottle.

In Germany a coke can of 330 ml costs 0,89€ what is around 1$. I currenly live in Switzerland where you get around a half Coke can for a US-Dollar.

In Australia, it would require $2 to buy 1 can of coke usually at a vending machine. Compare that to your country, where you can buy 3 for $1 :-\

Just worked out that $1 for me currently is £0.69... a can of coke at my local supermarket is £0.68 ...!
But for £1 i could by 5 or 6 cans at the local discount store, or a 2L bottle.

I'm not sure coke would be a great universal indicator though as it comes in different sizes everywhere, not to mention buying for discount stores!

I am in Canada and find a corner store will charge $1.25-$1.55 per can CAD but if you go to places like walmart,I believe the cheaper is older stock and sometimes at risk of being flat.

I guess a single can in a regular shop would be somewhere around a dollar. If you're trapped in an airport or on a ferry then you're gonna go thirsty. I'm a Pepsi man and get through gallons of it. I buy 2L and refill smaller bottles otherwise I'd probably top myself at the expense.

Why would they charge such an off number for a can instead of a standard denomination? Not that it is bad for the consumer, I'm just curious. It seems like it results in unnecessary change and it would be easier to just round it off at $1.

I dunno but people rarely use vending machines unless they are in the middle of nowhere there is a convenience store to buy them at or in a dorm at 2am in the morning. I think they use to cost $1.10 or something over a dollar at one time but since you can just simply buy a 12 pack that is $0.75 per can they lowered the price by $0.20 to 0.90 instead.

here is 2 cans of coke, here in our country the price will be high and our money value will becoming low and low. that's why i love bitcoins because bitcoin price will becoming so high not like money value in my country  ;D

You can only buy 1 coke in can using your 1$ im my country., 1 dollar is not enough in buying snacks the whole day, all the goods you see in the market are already more than a dollar. You cant buy anything with your 1$ only coke in can.

At this current rate, with 1$ I can buy 3 350mL cans or 2 500mL plastic bottles or 1 1,5L plastic bottle.

in the Philippines i think if you have one dollar you can buy 2 coke cans because one dollar is equivalent to 46PHP and the price of coke can here in my country is 20 pesos or something ,
i don't know what is the exact price of coke can here i don't even drinking coke most of the time . i prefer to drink water instead of Soft Drinks .

Over here in Iligan City (Mindanao), and I think also in CDO and Cebu, coke cans are price around 25 to 30 Pesos. So one can for a dollar, really sucks but at least we have glass 1 litre/"litro" bottles to make up for it that are priced pretty much near to coke cans (I really don't get how we price the liquids we buy lol, like a plastic bottle of water can cost like 25 pesos and a gallon of water could very well cost the same, like a total disregard for quantity and volume as they overprice products)

in my country, you can get any kind of cola 350ml in 2 bottles. Well to say the price of cola in my country it is quite expensive, maybe you're better off buying syrup  :D

In the Philippines it can buy at least 2 cans in a cheap supermarket. But we do not usually buy in can, we buy in 1 liter, the one that is in the bottle of coke.

The usual price for a pack of 24 cans of Coke is $16, so it comes to around $0.67 per can. But in the supermarket near my residence usually there will be discount deals, and the same pack can be purchased for $13.65 (i.e $0.57 per can). I am talking about the standard 330 ml can, and the prices can be slightly higher, if you go for the Diet variety.

I can buy atleast 2 in-can but we dont buy in-can we prefer buying those in a 1liter bottle coz they almost have the same price. In some place in-can are a bit expensive than 1liter bottle.

We only buy 2 cans in our country. Here in my country coke can are too expensive and dollars is now high. So instead of can we are buying liters.

With 1 $ I can buy 1-2 cans, I feel the price in my country is really expensive while our economy is low, this is really sad.

So if you have a bitcoin, it is probably very big amount already so we can buy some luxury items for house decoration and even enjoy the moment if Christmas with the family since it's already a month before Christmas day.

well in my country Philippines starting January theres an incerasing prices of sodas! My answer about how many coke can a 1 dollar gives me is depend on the coke container and sizes! For a coke in can that cost 30pesos so a 1 dollar could avail of only one since a dollar is equivalent to 50 pesos! And if you are planning to buy coke solo it cost 12 pesos so in one dollar you can but 4 bottles of it and have a 2pesos change! For a coke kasalo bottles that is worth of 25 php will gives you 2 bottles of it! for a family size coke (1.5) it cost 50php already so you just get one if in not mistaken on the new price list!!!

Rates in your country seems to be lower than those in mine. Here a 350 ml can costs around $0.50 and 1.5 L bottle costs around $1.50. I am not a big fan of Coke, so my information may be outdated.

In a supermarket in France, you can have 2 330ml cans for a dollar or so. If you buy an individual can in a convenience store, you won't even have one for 1$.

Here in our country, we can buy approximately 2 cans of 350 ml coke last year, but due to tax increase we can only buy 1 can for 1usd which is quite expensive. Our country is trying to reduce softdrinks consumers because it affects our health that's why they increased it's price just like liqiour but many of us still tries to buy and consume it inspite of it's price increase.

With one dollar I can buy about 1 coke can of 350 ml, depending the place I can't buy even 1 coke can with 1 dollar...
It's more advantageous to buy a bottle of 2 liters, it stays aroud $2.28 dollars, at supermarket and depending the supermarket a bit less.

Wow. Thats was too expensive. What is your country then? Here in my country, although the price of coke has rise becuase of some issue. You can still buy 2 cans or 2 bottles of coke with 1 dollar. Coke is not too expensive here , also other softdrinks too. They're price are all the same.

Maybe this is the same reason why cokes and other softdrink are cheap here in our country. It is because we have our own Coca Cola Factory.

3 cans also. However here in the Philippines, after TRAIN law was implemented, some commodities such as sugars and these carbonated drinks has increased in price, although I believe 3 cans are still affordable in here too.

in my country the prices are calculated with euros and in market a coke costs (350ml) 50 cents (euro) which is equivalent approx to 60-70 cents (dollars), so I can say 1.75 cokes.

Here in the Philippines our regular coke-in-can 330ml is about 26.75 pesos which is the price value of our Philippines  money, the value of one US dollar here is 52.00 pesos per one dollar so it's 1 pc. only of coke-in-can.

In my country which is Philippines, I can buy two cans of coke with 330ml for one US dollar, because as of today the value of US dollar is 53.39 pesos and the price of one regular coke in can in the philippines is 26.00 pesos. So in one US dollar I can buy two regular coke in can which can cost 52 pesos only. However, here in the philippines the price of a powder juice, canned goods and soft drinks has increased its price thats why its to expensive to buy this goods here in the philippines.

I like the idea that they have increase the price of these item because I believe that this is not beneficial to us, in my country I can only buy one coke in a dollar and for me it's okay.

Here in my country I can 1 or maybe 2 coke in cake for $1 depends on the price in the grocery store. If I buy in a convenient store like 7-11 I can get only 1 coke in can because it is a bit expensive in a convenient store rather than a grocery store.

Where I’m living you can buy about two cans of coke with $1. I remember when things were really good and that was back in the good old days, when you can even buy like four or five with $1. Things do change, but I hope it changes for the better and not for the bad.

In Philippines, we have coke in cans and also in the bottle. We also have different sizes in cokes.
When it comes to prices coke in can are more expensive than in the bottle. Coke in can that size 330ml price 1 dollar and in the bottle 330ml will cost you .22 dollar.

If we're strictly talking about cans then i would say that you could buy 1 can of coke. But you could buy 1 2 litre bottle if you can het it from the plant. Yoy can even buy 2 cans for a buck if you could get it from the plant directly. I know this because we did this when i chaperone my nephew in their field trip in a coca cola plant.

In our country we can buy two cans of coke, because one dollar , will be changes with our currency ,so if converted then it will be bought for a two cans of coke.

In my country, you can just buy 1 can with one dollar, it is not a problem for me if i can buy 1 or 2 because i don't drink soft drinks that much because i know that it is not good for our health and instead of buying coke cans, i just buy a water bottle and i can buy at least 3 with it, which is a good for our health to cleanse and remove the unnecessary things inside our body.

in my country Indonesia you can buy cans or 1.5 liters of 2-3 drink cola, because 1 dollar usa equal to 14,000 rupiah. the price of the dollar against the rupiah continued to increase and that's very bad because any goods to be priced.

Here in my country I can buy 2 coke cans in 1 US Dollar. But you need to convert it the fiat money here in my country because some of store here are not accepting dollar for payment. Like bitcoin,  if you want to use bitcoin you need to convert it into fiat money not all of store are accepting bitcoin but there some.

Here in the Philippines, I can buy Two(2) Cans of Coke for One Dollar. Since the Peso-US Dollar Exchange rate is  52 pesos + 1 Dollar right now as I check on it. I love coke, I love the Philippines and I love cryptocurrency.

I'm not sure what is the genius point of comparing how many sodas you can purchase with a dollar. But right now the exchange rate for 1$ is 52.98php and the amount of 330ml cola is 26.75 so almost 2 cans i guess.

You want to know purchasing power of one  dollar.  But it is not the correct parameter to check the  purchasing power of the currency.
Governments levying different rates of taxes on coke.  Suppose in one country there may not be any tax on coke and in that country this product may be selling 4 cans for one dollar.  
In some other country there may be 100% tax on it.  In that country you may be getting only 2 cans.  
Because the rate of tax applied is different in different countries for one particular commodity so we can not compare the purchasing power of the currency based on one single commodity.

If you are buying 4 cans in your country and I buying 2 cans in my commodity it does not mean that purchasing power is less in my country.  May be other commodities like vegetables; milk; flour; gram ; sugar; cloths I am able to get more than you are getting in your country.  I mean to say these thinks may be cheaper in my country.

One more  thing I want to add is ; please  do not consume this type of liquid.  It is very much dangerous for health.  It has great affect on your bones.  You should prefer natural juices; lemon water etc instead of consuming coke.  Juices will give you benefits though coke will make you sick.

It is a quite strange topic to see on the cryptocurrency forum but I can answer it to that, that I can have from three 0.5L cans to one 2L can in my country, which is much more than you can have in Britain for example :P

It depends on how big of a can you're buying. If you're thinking the standard can, then i guess you can buy 2 for a dollar. If you're buying a smaller one then 3. Actually im not drinking coke i prefer sprite and i observed in supermarket 2 cans can buy in 1 dollaf here in the Philippines. When you going to convert it 1dollar is equal to 51pesos i think? And i can of coke here is about 18 to 20 pesos, so you can buy 2 cans with 40pesos and also you have change 11 pesos, just add 9 pesos to buy 1 can again

Here in Philippines we can buy only a 2 family size of coke,because here in Philippines the value of dollar is averaging 48.50 peso and the value of coke in Philippines is 25pesos thats why we can buy 2 cokes.

Coke in cans are not so famous in our country but they are some who wants and about the subject we can buy 1 liter of coke in a bottle in 1 dollar. Coke are so famous here and coke is number 1 soft drinks in our country.

I've been travelling around Europe and in most Euro countries you can usually buy 3 for 1 euro, which is a bit more than a dollar. So In europe, depending on a country is something like 2,5 cans per dollar. Of course it depends on the can. I've seen vanilla coke in Germany for 1 Eur per can! That's not even 1 can per dollar.

In my country you get three can for one dollar 350ml  each..You just reminded me i haven't taking a bottle of coke today.
