This will clear your misconception about them. What are you saying man.Why should he call paytm and why would they clear his doubts in this regard? He should immediately change his email password and enable two-steps verification to prevent hacking or stealingExactly my point. Since he thinks paytm has done this. So once he would have called them and the same answer when he would have got it, he would have realized that actually somebody else incidentally or forcefully tried to login. So since he doubted paytm, that would clear his doubt on the spot. May be your ip address has been changed and google think as suspicious login Paytm is best. They are not interested to hack accounts Title: Re: Alert: Be carefull to open account in PAYTM Post by: erikalui on May 20, 2016, 08:40:19 AM I now can believe OP as this is not paytm who tried to hack his account but a user who has tried to hack his email/paytm account. People are now trying to hack paytm and other Indian wallets and steal the funds in the account. Since this happened to me where someone sent me fraudulent citrus funds, I am now taking more precaution with regards to these Indian wallets. For big amounts, it's better to ask ID proof and deal only with reputed members.

At present they behave like amateur kids with zero customer support and very poor service. How can PayTM not have a contact number? You have to e-mail them and wait for a response. And they pretend to be replacements for banks. Is this any way for a financial company to operate? Tell me which bank does not have a customer care phone number? ??? ::) MobiKwik, I will tell you is even more sad, their customer service reads from a paper "we will resolve your concerns in 48 hours" and it takes 15 days for them to respond back after that. I do transactions of 7K-8k INR monthly through PayTM and there has been no problem so far. Once I had accidentally recharged a wrong number (100 INR). I sent them an email and they refunded whole amount to my wallet (It was my mistake; the person who was wrongly recharged did not return the money to them, still they refunded me). Title: Re: Alert: Be carefull to open account in PAYTM Post by: philiveyjr on September 18, 2016, 11:22:42 PM Like others suggested, it might not be Paytm. It could be multiple things. Could be a failed attempt by yourself, Could also be Paytm's staff who might have access to password database, but I doubt they would have such a weak security. Could also be that you used the same password on some other site.
