Title: No Adsense - the end of the game for faucets? - Alternative Solutions? Post by: superiorus on May 13, 2016, 07:34:00 AM Hi
I will start by saying "bad morning" instead of regular "good morning" I say this because is the 1-st morning without Adsense in the last 10 years ... If you are a faucet/dice/game/etc owner you should check your email and if you get an email like the one below - it is the end ... Quote This email is to alert you that your AdSense account was found to be non-compliant with our AdSense program policies and as a result, your AdSense account has been disabled. Current account status: Disabled Action required: None Violation explanation: INCENTIVIZED TRAFFIC: As stated in our program policies, AdSense publishers are not permitted to place Google ads on sites with content related to programs offering incentives to click links or ads, read emails, or surf other websites. This would include, for instance, auto-surf sites, pay-to-read email networks, and sites comparing various pay-to-click programs. More information about this policy can be found in our help center ( http://www.google.com/adsense/support/as/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=105951 ). Payment: As your account has been permanently disabled, we will withhold payment of your account balance. As stated in the AdSense Terms and Conditions (https://www.google.com/adsense/localized-terms), Google reserves the right to withhold payments from publishers due to any breach of the program agreement. Please note that this step was taken in an effort to maintain the quality of the AdSense program and to protect the interests of our AdWords advertisers. The earnings on your account will be returned to the affected advertisers. That mean your work, efforts, investments, all are gone! Adsense disabled my account (with 875 eur balance) The account was running ads on 14 websites (all are disabled/blocked from Adsense) and was over 6 years old. Only 3 of them are faucets/game (bitcoinspace.net/freebitcoins, game.bitcoinspace.net, freebtc.click) I always respect Adsense TOS (3 ads per page, fresh content, no iframes, etc) In my opinion a faucet can not be included in these categories: "programs offering incentives to click links or ads, read emails, or surf other websites. This would include, for instance, auto-surf sites, pay-to-read email networks, and sites comparing various pay-to-click programs" Maybe some of you will enjoy reading these lines. My advice: do not enjoy before you check your email :) It can happen to you anytime! The big question is: can a faucet be sustained without Adsense? What alternatives exist? Title: Re: No Adsense - the end of the game for faucets? - Alternative Solutions? Post by: LLec on May 13, 2016, 07:48:50 AM I think that a faucet is a low quality site. People visit only for a few seconds, and sometimes (in the vast majority of case) they try to visit more and more site they can in the same time. So I think that only faucet that could "keep" people for some minutes could remain profitable, faucet that give also a service and not a simple captcha to compile ;)

Post by: vodaljepa on May 13, 2016, 11:37:24 AM What a shame for adsense to be doing this but my guess is a lot advertisers complained about the poor traffic from faucet sites and they finally had to do something about it, advertisers are the ones who make them money after all
Title: Re: No Adsense - the end of the game for faucets? - Alternative Solutions? Post by: bassdude on May 13, 2016, 11:43:43 AM I just removed all my adsence ads so I don't loose my account.
Title: Re: No Adsense - the end of the game for faucets? - Alternative Solutions? Post by: NeuroticFish on May 13, 2016, 11:46:25 AM I had my adsense account disabled some years ago.
Although I tried, quite a number of years later, to ask them restore my account, they didn't. Meanwhile I learned to live without them. I found in my country good enough options. Although Google are the biggest, they are by far not the nicest one around, nor the ones best to work with. The bad part is that you had quite an amount of money in there... But you should think of finding a replacement. I hope you'll find a better one. Title: Re: No Adsense - the end of the game for faucets? - Alternative Solutions? Post by: maokoto on May 14, 2016, 04:24:33 PM If I were to run a faucet without adsense, I would rely in alternative advertisers, but also on making the users click 2 or 3 links in paid shorteners before claiming. Credhot, adfly, linkbucks... etc.

Credhot, adfly, linkbucks... etc. Its annoying for visitors to do click those links and i think its the best to reduce the claim rewards and add other bitcoin related adnetwork..Also use buy andsell ads.. Title: Re: No Adsense - the end of the game for faucets? - Alternative Solutions? Post by: electronicash on May 14, 2016, 04:33:50 PM there are lot of alternatives actually, i just don't know if it can give you what adsense can. maybe having two adnetwork in your page will give more. say infolinks and maybe yahoo pubishers network.

Title: Re: No Adsense - the end of the game for faucets? - Alternative Solutions? Post by: LTU_btc on May 14, 2016, 11:19:00 PM Sad that Adsense banned another great bitcoin faucet. But isn't posible to keep faucet without Adsense, because there are many bitcoin ad networks and some faucets like moonbitcoin or bonusbitcoin are still paying without adsense (offcourse payments are lower). But fact that Adsense not allow faucets anymore is very sad and I think soon we will see that Google will ban best bitcoin faucet Freebitco.in.

Post by: CryptoMine.ml on May 20, 2016, 05:06:32 AM What a shame for adsense to be doing this but my guess is a lot advertisers complained about the poor traffic from faucet sites and they finally had to do something about it, advertisers are the ones who make them money after all FUCK advertisers, if they DONT like it, don't advertise. They do not pay enough any way! I have a Youtube video, in the last 2 years it has 15,000 views and in return $7 USD, say half of views had ads. $7 ÷ views 7,500 = you make $0.00093 USD a ad view. You should make $0.0025 to 0.0035 a ad view. Advertisers get treated to good, after all there make good money from it! Damn you're getting ripped off and there nothing you can do about it. after 1,000,000 fucking views you'll make about $465, at 0.0025 you'll make $1,250. Title: Re: No Adsense - the end of the game for faucets? - Alternative Solutions? Post by: target on May 20, 2016, 05:20:53 AM INCENTIVIZED TRAFFIC that's what it is. I have my adsense still and I never use it to faucets because I never later this will happen. Is kinda like proxy sites that has adsense ads as well. A lot of proxy site owners complain about their account getting banned too. from what i know, faucets and proxy sites don't have much contents to it. |
