What is Swiftstream ?  

Swiftstream is a stream promotion and monetization platform built on top of the bitswift blockchain specifically for live streamers (broadcasters).  The objectives of the swiftstream platform are to provide streamers revenue and monetization options, enhance audience participation, and introduce the crypto-layer of the internet to new communities. Swiftstream allows live streamers to snap into a suite of tools to start monetizing and promoting their stream.

Rewards and Incentive:

The bitswift network generates Bitswift from swiftstakers.  These Bitswift will be distributed to broadcasters for streaming and, as a result, down to their audience for participating. We believe this will create synergy for a stronger community and interactivity between streamers and audiences.

Bitswift that has been accumulated by the users of swiftstream may be used within the platform for various purposes which include:

You are very correct, marketing is top on our list.  We have been working behind the scenes on connecting with people in the pro scene to help bring this to market.  We mentioned hints of this in the bitswift thread and on the slack shared network thread

it's awesome to see an altcoin (registered business) will have actualy real world integration using the coin itself AND with those big name companies...haven't see any alt break the mainstream market yet.  i think swift could be the first one to "truly" do so.

No, streamers will be paid autonomously in Bitswift for certain actions that are triggered while they are streaming.

Yes, you can generate Bitswift yourself just by holding it and staking it in the wallet.  The staking rate is 3%.  You can download the desktop wallet on our website bitswift.io.

loving this so far...can't wait to see future development (and moon).  the way swiftstream and swift will integrate into streamers feed  will be pretty cool.

running the new wallet for awhile now is great too as it's very quick/light and stakes nicely.

good to see more ppl here, swift/swiftstream will have a huge community before ppl know it.  especially with a huge online presence coming re. gaming/steaming/poker and the like.

well said, just PM the dev to get in touch and he'll reply.  though you sound like a business (i assume) looking to work with swiftsteam/bitswift?  i'm sure dev has big marketing plans already but hey if you can add more to it in a positive way they great.

i highly suggest you pickup some swift coins on bittrex or 1ex.trade asap because well....the price is going to look a lot different over the coming months... ;) - but that's just my assumption.

it's sad and funny at the same time how alts still get all the sheep flocking to ICO b.s. with all the shilling hype and mostly fake volumes on yet-to-be-released dev promises.  just insane.  yet a solid coin and dev like this (around since late 2014) with now over one year in re-development and soon to be released MAJOR release....it's still quiet on the exchange lol *facepalm* - oh well that's crypto i guess and more cheap coins for some of us that buy.  people always miss the sleepers and then well too bad for them if they have to jump on the train once it's already left the station. :)

yes, the way to benefit from the launch of swiftstream application (from bitswift) is to buy SWIFT coins on bittrex or 1ex.trade

swiftstream is not a coin, it's the next (most recent) app or business "division" offering if you will from bitswift.  one that will bring MAJOR exposure to bitswift and thus most likely bring about a nice jump in value.  essentially people will utilize swiftstream in real life (ie. on their twitch home stream page or maybe even youtube/etc) where they will use swift coins for actual real world usage.  not many coins can say this.  it is NOT very far away..... ;)

re. ico or mining, swift has been around a long time.  you get POS so just stake in your wallet for decent returns.  
also, 30 sec. confirmations one of the fastest coins in the market!

if you follow their account on twitter you'll prob get better info.  they are also on Facebook as well.
most legit coins don't bother much with posting stuff here.  they only do for major announcements.  not full of shills for vaporware shitcoins which are 90% of the coins here.

Yes coins will only stake in the desktop wallet.  The interest rate is 3% for those staking.  If you stake you are also helping secure the network, so please do it :)

I looked at this project when the announcement was made back in may, seemed interesting, how far along is development of Swift Stream?

Thinking of chucking a BTC or two at it.

Being a streamer myself, I can say that this has potential.

Development is coming along nicely.  We are estimating another month of finalizing development and testing before it is party time :)

When will we be able to earn coin by streaming ? There have been no updates here for awhile and I love the sound of this coin.

I think dev mentioned something for Sept.  Hopefully that's the case.  8)

Update:  We are waiting for the swiftstream core developer to get back to us with some info.   Hopefully that comes soon, else we will be forced to reassign the project to one of our internal devs working on the EHR project.

Although it may take us a little longer to get there, we have to much invested on the business side of things to give up on this project so we can assure you that we will get there.
