Each mining board contains supporting electronics and a bunch of BM1385 ICs that do the actual hashing.

He is going to need a LOT it is not something you really order say a parts kit and put together. It comes as a unit ready to go. If you mean what do you need with purchasing a S7 to make it run, well then a PSU. I would suggest using the Bitmain AP3 PSU. But if you truly mean make and want parts to make it is going to be hard. My post was not meant to state that it's an easy task--each PCB is obviously custom-designed and includes careful concerns for signal integrity, power decoupling, and cooling. In addition to the S7, you will need a Power supply with 10 PCIe power connectors. You can order an appropriate power supply from Bitmain, if to have 208VAC (or higher) power in your country. My personal interpretation, which might be wrong, is: "What additional items do I need to install and properly use an S7?".
