If you make ~10 cents per 3 hours at current difficulty/price, it will take you approximately 25 days on average to solo-mine another block. If the difficulty goes up, it will take even longer. I was trying to figure that one out myself, when I start mining in the litecoin client the pickaxes at the bottom just say "Mining at 0 hashes per second" I'm not even sure if it's doing anything.
