I know this discussion has been here before, but I think it is an issue that is more pressing then ever now with the new bitcoin prices. I think we should no longer deal in BTC, but in mBTC. When I tell someone to buy 1 BTC for for example 1000 CZK (Czech fiat currency) it sounds pretty awful. If I told him to buy 1 mBTC for 1 CZK, it does not sound too bad at all. I propose that we start by showing the amount in our wallets in mBTC. People should get used to the new denomination in bitcoin. I will be happy when everyone including twitter price tickers adopt this form of pricing, someone clever.. make it happen. I think we should no longer deal in BTC, but in mBTC. A notable initiative is to reserve an ISO code (like EUR, USD) for Bitcoin. I actually want my Bitcoin for Android app to show amounts in mBTC rather than full BTC. Maybe the same goes for blockchain.info now too.
