I heard after the halving bitcoin will be reached at $1000 to $2000 in the end of this year.
IS IT TRUE ?
Most of the members and also my friends say that now within 2 months bitcoin price would be down and after it, bitcoin price will be increased very fast.
So i want to ask it is Right?

Yes, we will reach 1000 before December 31. 2000 also possible since the next uptrend will be very heavy. We are staying above 600 for a long time now so only way is up.

I think it's pretty possible that Bitcoin reach 1000$ by the end of 2016, but it's a little bit hard to reach the 2000$ at least this year.

1000$ yes possible because of the popularity that has been gathered from the previous months and the halving also taking some effect more or less before the end of the year we cross our fingers out for it to reach 1000$ but 2000$ it will be hard on it but if does many of us will profit on it. good luck.

It's impossible for Bitcoin to reach $1000 this year or any other year, at least not in our life time. You missed the train. There was an innocent time when you could have made lots of money in bitcoins but those days are gone forever. Bitcoin has been ruined. It's reputation is in tatters, it's technology obsolete, it's core developers fighting each other, etc. Why would you want to pour money into a shithole?

probably bitcoin prices will reach $ 1,000 for the year, but I think it would be very difficult to reach $ 2,000. indeed it is possible however, we need a very high price increases, and I think there are no triggers that can make the price of bitcoin be $ 2,000. but, if the bitcoin prices could reach $ 1,000 this year I think it will be very nice

Whenever I see this type of posts, it reminds me of 2014, when people had high hope that bitcoin will be 1000+ USD again. As a result, we went below 200 USD in January, 2015.

bitcoin prices are unpredictable even your friends say within 2 months the prices will be reach to $1000 i think they just only speculate because my thought for the highest prices in this year still $1000 below but still any chance to reach those amount and may be at 2017

If you are saying is it right? So that is a big new and also shocking new. Because my friend who is using the bitcoin since last four years, he tell me the last halving was block halving and after the halving suddenly bitcoin down, and in the end of the year bitcoin reached on the top and also he got a good profit, and as you say it is total different news.   

I doubt. Can't see any news of reason for another big rise.

People said it will because last time the price increased 1 month after the halving, but a sample size of 1 is not enough to make a generalization

Agreed, i also saw most of the predictions and threads about the halving, and they all were saying bitcoin might be reached at $1100, but the end of the result is total different.
So may be it will be happened in this year that suddenly bitcoin will cross $1000, if it happen so we should save our bitcoins once again for getting the profit. So let see what we have the result of this prediction.

This is just a pure speculation. Dont go with any fud and hype in crypto market. But i agree on there should be price rise after this halving just happen few days ago limiting supply and new coins. But it may take several months to show some effect on market. Atleast 1000$ per coin by end of this year could be possible.

I think it will happen this year just give a patience we feel it.. we know that the price of bitcoin will still hit low value but i think the movement of the price is fast once they their bitcoin.. i feel that the price of bitcoin will increase at december or november just like 2015..

Yesthos year bitcoim wi 100% worth morr than1000$ but i am sure that that priceper piece will not be between that numbers i am resll really sure thst bitcooin price per piece will be between 1000-2000$ dollar per piefe of bitcoin in market.

$2,000 is three times more of the current price and to happen than in only two months is hard to believe. I personally think that this year the maximum point will be around $1k

OP bitcoin will reach $1000 before this year is out, it could not be anymore obvious where we are headed. I couldn't put a number on the height we will reach though but for sure over 1000.

There is a very small chance for the price to hit $1000 again this year, but even if it does hit that price level, it will not hold for long. My guess for the top this year will be in the $800-$850 range at most.

I have my doubts about the price this year. However, $900-1500 I believe would be the max this year, with a possible dip to $450. Although, all these numbers are pulled out my ass like most in speculation  ;D

It's possible to reach $1000 in the end of 2016 but It would go down again to 800-900 I think. As you observe on the first halvening Bitcoin price gradually increases even though it goes down sometimes and rises up again. So, we should expect the price of btc would rise as the time goes by.

I think majority was right in this thread, most of the members are saying it will be right. So let see what happen in future.
I also believe on it. And that mean we should sell our bitcoins right now and later on when bitcoin's price come down t hen we should buy the bitcoins and wait for that time when bitcoin will be reached at $1000 to $2000.
I think it is also best way to get a profit instead of the halving.

That is what I think. It could reach $1000 from a price rise from $700, then it will consolidate from $900 to $1000.

There are more possibilities for the price to reach $1000 by the end of 2016, the next year it will rise even more.

It depends on the further adoption of the bitcoin by the general merchants and the infrastructure of bitcoin.

well market is ready for it. and people are hoping and hyping for the price to reach $1000 and grow even more. also bitcoin real value is a lot more than $600-700 so it is not so unreal to see prices above $1000.

also seeing the last halving, price has always made the same movement, meaning a rise after a period of calm before the storm.

I think that's too ambitious for this year. I think it will be a few years before it will reach $1000 or $2000. The growth seems to be slower right now which is probably better than having a bubble.

i doubt that it is too ambitious right now, i think that the price of a new all time high will be reached in 2016 really easily, i think it will make me some good money with such a growth

If it will be happened in the end of this year, its mean our pocket will be fulfill. So it is a second chance to make money during in this year. But now bitcoin continuously stay $650 to $696, even bitcoin is not touch the amount of $700. and someone say bitcoin will come down, and than it will grow up more and more. Actually sometime i can't understand what is happening with bitcoin price. 

if you really believe that we'll get to see a new all time high, then you should start buying yourself as many coins as possible. i personally don't think well even get to touch the $900 price level this year. so yes, in your own words, your prediction is too ambitious.

I predict that it is possible for the price to tech $1000 at the end of 2016 but I do not think that it will go to $2000 that is a bit to much.
It would make more sense if the price would reach $2000 in 2017 but now now. 

The prediction about cryptocurrency price still very hard task because nobody knows what will be happen tomorrow, as per my personal opinion price will touch $1000 easily by the end of this year, more like it will be stay around $1000 - $1200.

Nobody can tell you for sure what will happen in the next months.Therefore there is no right or wrong.
Even the best and most logical assumptions are no guarantee!!
Sure the majority here, me included, wants Bitcoin to rise to your called range.
But there is no certainty that it will happen.

There is no need for me to know the bitcoin price in the next week or next month. I hold the coin for the long term.

Yeah and rather of thinking too long I prefer to earn profits in quick time, if I see higher price then my purchase then without thinking twice I will sell and grab profits.

i also hold it for a really long time and i pretty much dont care if the price is going to go up or not, in my opinion the price will inevitably go to huge prices

If you are a long term holder then you should not bother about short term pumps and dumps as price will definitely much higher allowing us to make huge profits.

But it cannot really gaurantee  us to get profit because the flactuation for today is not stable up and we dont have anything exciting event that can make bitcoins price lift up so its very risky really to do holding at this state since we might gonna lose profit for a sudden price drop and hope it will not gonna happen.

I may find it hard to believe that the price go go as high as 2016 dollar. To me it is not realistic.
For this year the price goal is already set (reaching to 770) and then go back again (with the correction). The price being set at 700 dollar is a major accomplishment.

I also think that it is better way that bitcoin is continuously rising up the price not too much high but grew up. I think it is better than bitcoin price suddenly come down and suddenly high up more. Because in this way, most of the time people can't handle it and sometime they are face the loss.

It is still possible for the Bitcoin to reach $1000 this year but I do not think that it is going to reach $2000 because that is to high.
We will need more time before the Bitcoin is going to be able to reach $2000.

Yes it can be possible that bitcoin reached its price to $1000 to $ 2000 in 2016 , if a maximum people invest their money into bitcoin, then bitcoin will increase its price too much faster .

Yeah the price of bitcoin will depend on the adoption  level, if we see higher adoption the we can expect higher price in future for sure.

That is right. The adoption determines the price. I think it is possible for the bitcoin to reach $1000 in 6 months.

The price of bitcoin will increase in this year, it is sure 10%, but I think the price in this year will only reach to about $1000 and will increase more but not will reach to $2000 in this year but will take some more time to reach there.

every day that passes and bitcoin price is still high above $650 and doesn't go down i become more sure that this price is becoming the new bottom and it will only have one way to go and that is up.

The $650 is the centre of the current trading range. It will become a new bottom in August or September.

I expect the bitcoin will rise around $50 to 100 a month on average in the next 6 months. It will be a steady rise.

It is possible for the bitcoin price to reach $1000 by the end of the year if there is no big bag news to drive down the price.

i think bitcoin will be trading between 1000$-1200$ at the end of this year although it is so stuck in 600+ for such a long time but i think that is not a problem and even goof for the future of bitcoin and may be it reach or even cross 2000$ in 2017. so we have still time to invest in bitcoin and get benefit from it.

It is more possible for the $2000 to be reached in the second half of 2017 or early 2018. There is no price bubble.

If the bitcoin price $2000 later next year, there is no price bubble. If it is $10,000, there is price bubble.

People are hoping that $2k price is achievable in this year but the chances are very less but if it happens in this year then it will a win win situation for majority of us.

well it's true mate after that hacked the price will be affected and it will delayed some increase but as we go along the possibility to reach 1k is still there and making me believe that bitcoin will still reach 1k by the end of this year.

$1k is possible to touch at the end of this year but its really difficult to expect that it will reach to the value of $2k in this year as its really too high to expect from it.

It is not possible for the bitcoin to reach $2000 later this year. The only good news could be the new Core Client, but it shall not raise the price that much.

i dont think that 1000 is possible either, i mean the price would have to nearly double and with bitcoin you would need a huge pump to achieve that what is really hard

I don't think it happen, 3 months left in 201 and the price still at $500-$600 for each bitcoin. But i hope bitcoin can reached that price though, even it's impossible.

We just broke $600 wall and also we have to remember that bitcoin upward trend was broken by Bitfinex hack.
If that never happened we would be sitting pretty on $700 and who knows, maybe even more.

In this last year I sure that Bitcoin price can reach more than $800. The biggest Bitcoin users from China still wait and see the best moment to buy again.

for me have an target to reach $800 is really hard due not much time we have and waiting without act it will not help anything. at least we must start to buy bitcoin and lets the trend go up.

You are absolutely right, I also have same thinking, when people talk about the bitcoin price would be increased after the halving, because of they was thinking of the previous halving even.
But if we are looking, than recently bitcoin price down but that of incident of Bitfinex. So let see what will happened in the end of the year, because it would be time start of increasing price. 

i think it will be a good progress if we receive the 1000 level in 2016, the price is still trading in very low level, although though there is a good potential in the price of bitcoin but still it will take so much time to reach to that limit.

Very true, $1k or $2k price would be hard to achieve this year since bitcoin price stabilize its price in a couple of weeks  after the  bitfinex hack which  really dumps the price but  as of now it gradually increases but we shouldnt  get too excited that we assume  that it would continue to rise, expect  also that there would be downs as always.

$1000 is likely, but anything further than that, we need another willy bot to achieve those figures. Also, we still have a lot of weeks to go before we see the end of the year, and seeing that there are some nice pushes every day, it's not far off to see $1000 before 2016 concludes. Imagine, just a week ago we are sitting at $570 and now we are at $606 as of this moment. If these pushes continue, well we might say hi to four figures again.

At the moment it doesn't seem happening by the end of this year to see Bitcoin's price even near $ 1000. This is most unpredictable market but if price just remain stable above $600 and reaches till $800 that would be nice thing in my opinion. Bitcoin is in a phase where it in passing through adoption and acceptance much more than previous years. We will see effect on price next year more.

I think it is possible to hit 1000$ dollar mark in this year.
We just went up by 30 dollars in one day so with that speed it is no problem to hit 1000$ this year.

I hope that the Bitcoin price next year is going to be in the thousands, I will sell some of my Bitcoin for sure if it is going to happen.
I do not think that it is going to happen in 2016 but in 2017.
