Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling? I think my work is affected due to addicted in gambling like playing online roulette. Can someone help me to get away in gambling. Gambling made my home life unhappy :'( .

I did not lose my time for school because of gambling. Im not that too addicted on gambling but i know alot of people. They escaping their classes just for gambling. They will start in the morning and it will end in the midnight. Im just too thrifty, i dont wanna spend my money and time just for gamble.

yeah I ever lost school time and work, but for playing games online. when was I addicted to online games, and just as bad as gambling, I always spend the money to buy vouchers game. but this time I never returned to play the game online.

I did it once and I regret it so much. Even though I won some money on gambling but I had to miss one of Final Exam when I was in college because I woke up too late as I was gambling overnight.

Well, i rarely do that. For once i do gambling when at school and it's really affect my school day, because i lose my bet and makes me feels sad.

I only gamble in my spare time after my college class and summer breaks, and I often gamble a bit and I'm not really addicted to gambling because I always lose, even in sports betting. So in conclusion, gambling never wastes my time because I can manage my schedule everyday.

Yeah once I avoided to go out with friends because I was in gambling long gambling session and was winning. I thought I will make much money and will surprise my friends by offering them some party. It went worse and I lost all money then I was regretting that why I didn't join my friends if was going away may be was not loosing that money. It remained just regrets that because of not going away of gambling once.

I never lost my time from work due to gambling. It is true I am gambling on regular basis and make some extra money in small amounts. I know how to manage my time for other more important things and extra activity that is gambling for me. I hope it will never be cause I till now I never lost time for anything because of gambling. when I bet on a match I must watch it even I have a lot of work to do or a lot of study duties , and imagine if there is a global competition like the up coming Olympiad in Brazil , how many time I will spend if I like to bet on two sports , football , volleyball . that how I spend my time on gambling .

I would suggest you to stay away from gambling for some days and store what you earn and after that you will not feel to gamble anymore as you will see your problems getting solved.

Yes, I already, it is because of sitting too much in front of the computer taking home some of my works.. I regret those days, and now, I am just working good enough at office and budget my time so that before my wife and son sleep, I am at their side.. Same as in weekends..I also experienced too much gambling before, and after I'm done gambling,  I am hot headed and mostly gets angry easily, that's the side effect of gambling, even if you finish earlier, for sure, if you were busted most of the time, it will affect you...

I don't loose time absolutely to nothing to keep everything in order. In my situation no one knows that I am gambling so I don't want let others to know of my this habit. I am punctual in daily life routines and don't miss even sometimes I don't have mood then too. This is main reason why I don't loose time due to gambling.

I often loose time in gambling whether I am playing or not just by sitting and navigating between sites. I have lost times for many things and always promise myself to be more regular to keep balance between things but didn't over come this weakness yet.

Fortunately, I don't lose much time because of gambling. I usually do sports betting which doesn't require much attention when it's on play. The only time you need to be on the screen is when you make your analysis prior the game. Most of the time, when a game is in play, I just go out and ride my bike. After an hour or so, I would return to see if my bet won or lost. Simple as that. Worrying about something just makes everything complicated, so I save myself from stress by not watching my bets, lol.

Yes, definitely affected work. I usually sportsbet, and just following those games every moment like getting updated with the score has been a major time waste and has wasted a lot of time for me. From beginning of this year, I just block all sites for the duration of my work hours, so I am not able to waste time.

fortunately i still could control myself during a gambling and i didn't lose my time for work or school because i do gambling only while spare time also i do not so often gambling currently so i think it would not interrupting my working time

The thing is I do gambling when I am working. Yes if I get stress while I am working, I do gambling to come out from my stress. It will give relief to my mind. But I am not addicted to gambling. I just play for fun. So if you want to stay away from gambling take your family member help. This is the best suggestion.

Loosing time for a more important thigs such as school and work, it is obvious that you have a problem. You should know well how to manage your time and prioritize those that need more your time. Gambling will not do yo good in that kind of situation. If you want to quit it, focus with school an work and fully forget about gambling. Sooner or later you will loose all you have if you continue like that.

yes gambling make me spend more time at the computer. I am addicted to gambling and also lost money. losing time to learn and lose time with family. but I enjoy gambling, because gambling can make my life better.

I am person who loves to gamble, I can gamble for 8 hours in a day, but I dont do that anymore, in the past time I always sacrifice my sleep time to gamble, it has cause me a hypertension and doctor suggested me to rest more, I almost faint out when i was at work, since that day I stop gamble, now i only gamble for a short time, my suggestion is stay away from gambling, go out and make a new friends and spend some quality times with the one that you love

Yes that mindset really is really helpful if people will think that way but in reality really people still gamble and gamble if they have oppurtunity to do so, but for me it didnt effect on my worka since i dont gamble to much and just play it in my spare time and see some new site exist, and jacee said gambling cannot do good to anybody because it can make us broke and bring our lives down so better to end it while you are new to gambling so you cannot compromise more in future.

Its kind of difficult to say because most times I do it even at a mild level during off peak period and while in school, you could sneak out to gamble with other guys within the neighborhood. Sometimes you miss classes with the premonition of making so much money to cover the loss of time but alas, you lost eventually... thats my little experience over the years... My 2 cents...

Jesus guys you shouldn't be gambling while you are still going to school because it's illegal for underage. Now if you are going to college or university I would think you are adults and of legal age to gamble but still don't spend too much time on Bitcoin casinos if you are still minors because it will interfere with your studies and life in a bad way  ;) I guess the Bitcoin dice sites are to blame for this ::)

Normally I don't gamble when I am at work. Once I had a job in the security where I only was watching some security cams and there I could easy play some poker on Pokerstars when I was at work. Normally gambling is more something you play in your spar time.

No I didn't, I like to feel free when I`m gambling, that means when I finish everything I need, only then I like to sit and relax with some nice game. I don't like to skip obligations cause of gambling. But I like to spend my breaks on work playing dices or some other simple gambling game, but that is not skipping work.

OP if that's the case, then you ought to seek out some real support, because you definitely have a problem.   The gambling section of bitcointalk is full of active gamblers and might not be the best place for you to hang out.  You're going to end up losing everything eventually.   

I haven't missed work or school because of gambling,  but I've missed both because of drugs & alcohol in the past.  Very similar.

Seams to me that you need to grow a pair and get your act togeather. There are little things worse than addicted gambler, and if you let it have affect on
your work and relationship life - then you are in a free fall.

I gamble is just a few years ago, so I do not ever lose time when the school, as well as work.
although I have more time to play gambling, but I'm not addicted to gambling, I prefer to get in a better way, and gambling just for fun.

Hmm, it is way less well done. because in gambling we should have thought well enough to avoid defeat, and the worst impact is the value or our lessons in the schools will be disrupted because of the losses. Do gambling when all the real world certainly has done and is doing for granted

my work gets affected all the time due to gambling luckily I'm still in the same one tho :P all depends on your will power tho

When i joined bitcoin before it i never play gambling, but now i am playing gambling only for fun and nothing else. I have only one thing in my mind and that is don't waste money. So no one can hope for me that i will be addicted in gambling, but still i like it. And i wanna advice to you, play gambling but don't waste your money and time and specially care yourself because of addicted in gambling.

No, i will not put special time for gambling. Whenever i get bore, i do gambling few minutes. And also daily I will not play. Because I will fix one amount for one week if it exceeds in the middle, I will stop playing gambling that full week.

I have wasted the time of my life for gambling, earning nothing. I was a student and now I am so bad. It is my final year and I have less time. My advise is to do things meant for your age. Learn to wait, don't be me.

No way, during the school time i never play gambling even you can't believe on it that i really didn't know what is gambling during my school period. But now i am a good gambler when i stated to work with bitcoins than i play gambling and i like it and also it is entertainment thing, when ever my friends came to see me than we play it together and we enjoy it.
 

Nope I never lose time from work or schoold due to gambling.  I haven't been a fun of gambling ever since I was young.  I admit I play gambling games sometimes but it depends on particular situation, and I never pay gambling games regularly.  Things need to do first than these entertainment.

No i have always time for my work because its very important to me to live with my family. maybe to others if the are addicted in gambling.. this is just like the same as my cousin he is addicted in gambling and he lose his work because of gambling.

That sounds.. bad. I am sorry for you. Gambling should not take over other activities and things you have to do in life. It has to be just for your entertainment. Even if it's an addiction, you still have to keep everything in control and you have to not stay in a casino for hours just hoping for a win. It's just for fun.

My work sometimes is getting affected, because im aving some typo errors in making docs, but anyways that's just small problem in the profit im making in gambling.

Do you mean you are earning enough profit to cover that problem? Well then you must be lucky these days, but keep one thing in your mind that people always lose everything when they try to recover their loses in gambling.

I am not like other people which are trying to recover my losses in just a number of bets, where whats happening is they are loosing even more.
And one thing, typo errors are not an issue to us, its just a small mistake, and Yeah maybe i'm lucky as well, but i can say, its not 100% luck, im just utilizing my strengths well to make some profit.

I lose my focus in doing my work because I'm addicted into gambling, most of my time are spent in gambling.
That's why I never be a productive of my time because of it,.

nah i never lose my time from school because of gambling i always fix or arange my time before i go to school or to play gambling first of all i always take first my priority which is to go to school every weekdays and for weekends is for fun lets say its for business time let's play some fun like gambling casino etc and many more

Actually gambling is not effecting on my routine life and I am doing gambling into my extra time, I think gambling during the work time can bring much bad impact on our life, that is why I like to play in those hours when I am free and have a lot of time spare to spend for my online activities.

i have wasted my time and money on gambling with bitcoin, but i have never been this deep like you. i have always been greedy about spending my bitcoin so i have always kept my gambling amount low so the time i spend is also limited based on the low amount that i put it and lose it all :)

Nope, I haven't gambling haven't affect me that much.. I could say that when I am not in the gambling site, I am not into gambling and I am not thinking of going in there to gamble, in short, I leave gambling as where it is, the trick there to not use too much time in gambling is, do not invest a big amount of money in your bankroll at a time, so when you fail, then stop, and when you win, just go for the double and never try again, do it again the next day.

no i never go gambling during school or college life. My father was very strict me regarding to my study he keep regular check on me during school  and college life. so i never found any chance for gambling. now as i am a teacher and during my job time i never give time to gambling. i thin k we should give proper time to activities according to their importance.

Gambling makes negative impact in the lives of people who wants to take it as a source of income or gaining profits with it everyday, and such kind of people put all their money in gambling for making them more in less time without thinking that every coin has 2 sides, and when you throw it in the air it can be any side when it falls down.

I usually gamble on sports events, most of these events are usually at weekends or in the evenings so I have never had to miss work because of gambling. I always limit what I am going to gamble and only do it for fun, it makes sports more exciting when you have a bet on a match.

Exactly, giving importance to what was need to be done first and then if you still have spare time after, go for things that you want to do...  Your parents must be very proud of you since you've said that you don't defy the rules.. i an give you some tips for you to get away from gambling but this is just a tips. its on you on how you manage it. Look for new thing for you to be busy and not think about gambling. maybe play some games, hang out with your friends and make more time for your family. anyway gambling is just for fun right?? so make time for other things, the one who can make your life better  ;)

Yep, a lot of times before. I don't gamble anymore. I used to stay up to 2 AM or 3 AM before because I'm gambling in bustabit. Not necessarily because I'm putting a bet but because I'm talking to strangers that I eventually befriended. It's so much fun to talk to people/trolls in gambling sites. I'm using autobetting scripts and sometimes I just watch the computer bet by itself and observe if I'm losing or if I'm winning. I know I'm not supposed to but I always stay up late just doing that.

So this a little bit strange for me while you're a teacher and involve into gambling activities, that is not fair as per your job demand, you should educate the kids about the bad effect of gambling how it can be dangerous at any stage of life.

I have never lost time from school for gambling as i started to play gambling when i started to work and then i started my part time job with my friends and then this gambling habit started, due to this lot of time i have taken leave from work due to gambling. and Today i am in full mess of my life doing all small jobs for bitcoin and in real life to earn for my life and for my family.

it happen to me mate when i still use to play at yobit dice i always lose and keeps trying to bounce back but suddenly i keep losing i also come to far that i did not go to work just to play the game, you can work it up mate by keeping your self busy make some alternative mate go to church or play sports take time with your family.

I didn't lose any time from work or school but I remember back in University there was a bunch of student who got addicted to World of Warcraft that they never studied or did assignment because they played all day and night that day. I did, many times. We were crazy kids and we thought we can do what ever we wish. And we played video poker, that was interesting in that time. Hitting machine, gambling winnings and it was fun, we didn't know nothing about money we lose or win, earning would go on more fun, losing would make us think about how to find more money. Happy times, we didn't worry about nothing.

This happened once to me, i am playing poker tournament that day and i was in the final table, I was the 2nd to the chip leader but if i will finish the game i'll be late for work. So i decided to keep calling all in and my 3rd attempt busted all my chips.

That is what gambling can do in times, letting you have fun while you are not worried about the loses and more happy for your winnings.

i never lost time from work, or studies, etc, I have some rules about gambling that i'll never break, like letting it affect my work, or use money that i need to live :), doesn't matter how addicted you are, if you put your own unbreakale rules, you can set up a safe way to have fun

i adore you if you can do that, even you said that you or assuming that you are addicted, because as far as i know being addicted is uncontrollable it is really hard to resist when you already been addicted because you are ruin your life putting your time and your many gamble and its really happen forgetting your time to go to school or work just not to missed the bet.

Gambling does require quite a long time depending on the type you play. You need to prioritize work time and play in spare time. The best way to not be addicted are don’t continue to do so or find friends/ family to remind you, so you can focus on work and your home life.

I've never missed work because of gambling nor has my work been affected by my gambling. I once had to drive two and a half hours through a snow blizzard once from Atlantic City after a day and night of playing poker and arrived home just in time to make it to work. It was a nightmare - both driving back through the snowstorm and working on no sleep. I was tired AF, but I took care of all my work responsibilities fine enough. Though I can say I don't ever want to relive that experience again.

I am no really wasting my time, my gambling activities are quite compressed. I don't sit in front of my PC and watch how Dice Bot roll for 4 hours.
It is only gambling, if you don't have luck on your side you will lose anyway, stop planning or researching new ways of throwing dice.

Well, my work is not affected by visiting bitcointalk.org because it's only took 5-15 minutes everytime i visited bitcointalk.org. But it's a bit affect my work when i do gambling.

also I live in a country that has a low salaries in USD , so when I visit bitcointalk I make a good amount of money comparing to what people are making here

Same here, still in college so have quite a lot of spare time to be spent on bitcointalk.org, and earns quite a good amount because most of my friends and colleagues are not earning anything yet so that makes a good impression when i talk about it to them.

For me no couse I don't have work right now and I'm not studying so even I use all my day in this forum nothing will change in my schedules and good thing is stop gambling so I'm not the who still addictive to gambling.

Not really because before, when i was addicted in gambling, i gamble after work its my hobby actually everytime im going home. not my work but my family was the one who got affected by my actions. good thing i managed to control myself so i rarely play now.

That is a really nice thing that you could stop yourself from gambling by thinking about your family that they are being affected by this, but there are a lot of people that are addicted of gambling and that addict never lets them get away from gambling and they just ruin their lives through this.

When I was at my office I am still visiting the forum and my boss is not noticing what am I doing. Haha she thinks that I am still on sales even the theme of the forum she is seeing that I'm using and my supervisor have saw it too. Yeah, just doing a post or two should not be a problem for someone even if he is working, he could do that so that when go home he could rest for sometime without engaging himself with the forum.

I don't gamble at work. It is very unprofessional in my opinion to engage in gambling activities during your work hours.
I do however browse internet when I don't have urgent work (who doesn't do that?) and unfortunately I sometimes got distracted by bitcointalk among other sites.

It's not fair decision to do gamble or visit some other sites which are not related to work, so it's very clear I don't play when I've work because I am very responsible person, I know very well what is important for me.

I do that too, i don't have any day job as i'm just a student right now but i often come to bitcointalk when i have free time to earn some free bitcoins through signature campaign by engaging myself into various conversations going on around, but i would suggest you not to gamble even if you have free time because that will surely effect your life as you will lose the money you get from the job and that is not something good.

I have tried both things. First I was playing poker for BTC during my work, but I had not any result in it, there you need to concentrate on the game to win something and cause of my working process i could not do this and always just lose. But then I get interesting in commenting for Bitcoins and that became the most useful thing to do at work when you have a little bit of free time. I continue to do that even now. I spend like five mins to find a topic and stay a post. And it does not distrub me at work at all. So I found the best solution for myself.

A lot of people do that kind of thing when they have completed all their work but are still in the office and need to stay there, so they can "pretend" to be working even though they've already done their work. Nope i never lose time from work due to gambling or visiting bitcointalk.org.  You just need a proper time management where you can set your schedules.  I make sure that i have done all works before doing things that is less important.  If you do this kind of stuff you will never lose for  work.

There are a lot of addicted people who gamble with their salary every month and lose everything, they dont think before gambling but later on when they find nothing in pockets they get worried if how they will manage the things for the whole month now.

No this never happens to me because I hate gambling in the first place. I prefer to work hard and earn my money. About visiting this forum - well I visit this forum once in the afternoon and once in the evening and sometime once before going to bed - it never takes away time from other stuff because I can manage my time very well.

yeah, it has never happened for me either though i spend a lot of time trading so i sometimes have to skip the meetings with my friends

When my boss is not present in my work, I sometimes visit the bitcointalk to read and learn and post. I do it during working hours so I lose time from my work but I only do it because I have free time. When I am busy from work then I visit the site when I get home. I do gambling only when I have free time so I did not lose any time because of it.

OP was not really asking if you lost coins in gambling. He was asking if you lost time for your work and instead, you gambled/visiting bitcointalk.
I have not done that and never have I the intention to. I would always prioritize my main job over this one as bitcoin serves only as a hobby for me.

Yeah same, I was only gambling when I was bored or have free time so wasting time or work is not a problem to me. I usually woke up early to check the site then I do like 10-15 bets then I am getting ready for school. I don't think gambling will ruin your routine as I classified it only as entertainment and do not lend large time on it. Maybe those gambling addicts who just want to gamble all day or even night. I think that was not good. So, gamble only for fun. AND, ONLY RISK WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOOSE. Otherwise, you'll regret it ;)

Well in my work too I have a lot of work that they don't know I'm staying in forum rather than working for the company. I don't care about them because they are not even paying on time when I needed the money. It is better to have in gambling and as well as reading some strategies that you can use in your life.

I think that no one ever really sacrifice their main job for over gambling unless they are really addicted because gambling busted you in just a second an it will affect your performance on job then so thats why you never cut your time just for gambling. But yes many a time it was with gambling that I was late but not for the reason you think, I was late because I wanted to break even and waited for the btc deposit to go through for the next wage. Good hting I won or I would be very late .

well i think that pretty much happens when you get addicted to anything. your social and fmaily life gets  affected. me personally i haven't experienced being that addicted to gambling yet that it affected my family but  i think they key really is to control yourself from the beginning.

Well to be honest I have lose time from work due to visiting here in forum. But my boss doesn't know about it so that is why everytime I am going to visit the forum, I am looking for her first so that I can secure that no one knows that I am not working for the company by that time. Instead I am gaining more knowledge because of visiting here in forum.

No, not really because i only spend little time in this furom and i'm only visiting here if i want to find some information and also to find some new earnings here. And yet gambling and furom doesn't bother or conflict my time at all maybe i used to manage to do both of them so overall it didn't really affects my daily lifestyle,  maybe those people who used or shall we call addicted ones are having more time here and yet they are one easily get compromised and surely their working job hours will be reduced or they will be prone to be late always.

As long as you can prioritize your work you should not have much problem. Spend some time on this forum helping people everyday but dont forget to enjoy life with family and friends. Also your job is main focus - dont lose time for that.

i don't see someone who want to just get an information update about bitcoin in this forum with post average 20 posts in their account :( some people visiting bitcointalk.org constatntly everyday for the sake of paid ads campaign .

I do the same thing, open it when I have nothing to do (free time) , but it seems more often since I always open it on smartphone due to its flexibility. So I can manage my post every where, but not in work or college. Same way to gambling, only in free time to get some fun and profits or losses.

well fortunately that didn't happen to me although i know a lot of people who pretty much had the same issue as you. i think really the first thing to do here is to know how to prioritize things and have control of yourself. have just a specific time for gambling. you don't have to stop it completely, just make sure that it's just a part of your everyday past time.

Exactly this is correct, and I will not visit any casino sites and Bitcointalk forum when I am in working. I will give my first preference to my family, friends and My job. Later on, this gambling will come. This is just small entertaining part in my life. So I am not felt like that I am losing time due to gambling.

It is going to depend on how you really want to visit a gambling site or the forum badly. And I admit it that I am losing time from my work just to visit the forum.

But it is better to visit the forum rather than to get bored in office and you don't have something to do. You can't force yourself to become productive in work if you are really tired.

I don't have that much to do in my work nowadays so in my free time I visit bitcointalk.org and maybe that will be called losing time from work but I am being productive during my free time by earning and learning from the site. I am paid for being in the office with nothing much to do so might as well do something that is beneficial.

Sounds very familiar to my situation. Not due to gambling but due to vising bitcointalk and other bitcoin forums. I try to not make it too crazy though, on working days I might browse a few minutes here and there. Haven't received negative feedback though so let's keep it that way.

One time this happened to me as well I was having very good session and was winning. I thought it is my lucky time and wanted to keep playing little more. I missed from important work but later I not only lost all winnings but also my initial amount too. I was thinking was good to not postpone work and was not having these losses.

I lose more than half of my working hours because I cannot end my day without visiting the site, there are many opportunities here that I cannot miss and I think if I cannot open the website in a day I will miss the important things.

unfortunately i don't lose time from work, because i can manage when i must to work, and when i want to gambling so its not lose time but i only lose luck on gambling. but yes i think that we all lose in time, because we prefer make a good job rather then we spend hours to gambling and in the end, we only get lose.

Yeah, that's the thing I do too. I usually just take time when not having a job and also when I was at home. For if I am too often to be in the Forum, then it's not going to give a good effect in my survival, because I still depend on a person (employee)

i think no, because i usually play gambling in evening after my job timing. but still for so many time i went to home very late at night because of gambling for which my father show anger to me. now as my father has passed away i try to come to home on time.
