Title: Re: How to advertise a cryptocurrency Post by: BitcoinHodler on July 27, 2016, 02:58:25 PM The community on Reddit is very largely inactive, are you talking about the subreddit dedicated to this coin or are you talking about cryptocurrencies sub because those are active. you can talk about it on trading, crypto, cryptomarket, altcoin related sub-reddits and doing some giveaways on reddit is a good idea. you can even make a tipbot (see /u/dogetipbot for more information). also a signature campaign can be helpful too. but the coin needs to be good itself, and you have to have something to talk about. i don't have enough information about your coin but if it is good, these methods should suffice. Also, youtube ads under your name are worthwhile. Try a signature campaign and see how it works. Give away few coins to the users and show them why they should use your coin. I hope it pays in the end.

I think this is a good start. Since the community is extremely large because many people are getting interested with crytocurrency. Just try with bounty campaigns like signature and avatar campaign. Im not saying that it will be a 100% success. But most of successful ICOs are using btctalk to advertise. But of course you need $$$ for advertising. Just hire advertising managers. So they will manage your advertisements.

It is working here throughout the forum you can see the colorful ads on the account of each members here? That's how signature campaign works, participants will wear your signature in return for payment. You can pay crypto-currency website that are famous and have a lot of traffic volumes to promote digital-note (xdn) for you, or either through google advertising.

Good advice, bounty campaign is a good way to let more people know your alt coin and it is better for the dev team to do it. For example airdrop or social bounty campaign are both ok.
