here i am. any questions?

Do you like what you do?

Do you believe there is any wrongness in what you did/are doing?  Why or why not?

Do you feel any regret or remorse?  Why or why not?

Do you think you could make the same amount of money by not scamming?  Why or why not?

Do you like yourself?

there was a rush being able to successfully do what i do and get away with it. but i never felt good about it. i do not like what i did.

i was wrong. i used my talents for the wrong reasons.

i do feel regret. i am down right ashamed of my actions. i could be doing much better things with my life.

i could make millions scamming. but i could make just as much or more legitimately if i applied myself.

i like certain things about myself and i dislike certain things about myself.

i am not lying. i will pay back everybody.

this was a very good question. i have been scammed so many times i cant keep track. by friends and family. after so many times of being scammed i flipped. i saw how everybody was doing it so i stopped being the one who gets scammed and started being the one who does the scamming. after you get burned so many times it makes you less remorseful and it felt like i was getting even and getting my losses back. i did get very angry. the experiences made me a scammer.

smoke weed, play computer games, surf the web, ride my crotch rocket, look for honest ways to make a buck.
i do not have a job. probably never will.
i can live comfortable off scams.

What does it feel like to scam?
its exciting identifying your target and sweet talking them in to trusting you. and when you have their money you get a rush of twisted accomplishment.

What you done to get scammer tag?

i scammed people for BFL singles and upgrades.
i have done bad things.

Why do you feel bad?
What does it feel like?
i feel bad cause im a good man who does bad things.
it doesnt feel good at all. if i was just pure bad i wouldnt care. but deep down i am good so im constantly fighting with myself.

You did not responded about your trustworthiness as a drop site. I probably never trust you without serious guarantees anyway. But I feel it is something like paradox. The hackers who cash out credit cards, make ATM skimmers, extort with DDoS and so on can be trusted with business. One exception are beginner script kiddies. One darknet hacking forum have very reputable escrow system that many I know uses. Also the Silk Road probably is good example by not running away with users coins.

Do You have Asperger Syndrome? Or suspect having that one?

Very interesting description which confirms my theory of the perception of a "hive mind" among petty people. That revenge can be justified even though you are attacking someone else than the person that attacked you. Like it is you against the rest of the world. Only if you learn to accept that you are only one among many men and that you are no more worth than them, will you be able to rid yourself of these mental shackles.

And now you seek some kind of forgiveness which you think you can achieve through faked repent and honesty without consequences. Only if you try to pay back your victims will you become a better man. Not by explaining yourself anonymously on an Internet forum.

Interesting. So you get satisfaction from scamming, but not pleasure?

ive done more honest business than bad business. i can be trusted if i know you or i feel like doing good business. if i dont know you or im feeling shady my trustworthiness is like flipping a coin.
i am bipolar and maybe a touch of something else.

if one person does me wrong i take it like a man and move on. when the majority of people do me wrong it gets harder and harder not to get sucked in to the shit storm.

i do not seek forgiveness. at this point i am not faking anything. if you doubt me sit back and wait for me to fix this. i have been in the process of becoming a better man for a long time. this is just one step of many that will help me be the man i want to be.

everyone is a product of his/her environment. If you believe this than everyone has a 100% valid excuse for EVERY bad thing that they have ever done. Even your brain is a product of your environment in the sense that the environment determined which sperm would connect with which egg =P.

its not an excuse. its the truth. if your abused as a child you may become an abuser or you may become a protector. its not as simple as your environment or who you are as a person. its a combination of a bunch of things.

You dared people to try and find you? Why, are you that tough guy I hear about on the internet? Hell, just post your name and address.
If you truly were repentant, you'd sell your crotch rocket and other toys, and make restitution. Or at least send me a BFL single, even though you never scammed me :) I'm sure it would make you feel better.

I think you misunderstood me, I was not criticizing the need for revenge, I was merely stating that revenge should, if it is needed, be directed at the perpetrator and not directed at humanity or "otherness" in general.
for me its not about revenge. im just doing what everybody else is doing. the government scams. the people scam. my friends scam. my family scams. i know its not right but when everybody is doing it you dont feel as guilty. your just living life. dog eat dog. the strong survive the weak perish. adapt or perish. abuse or get abused. i agree, it should be directed at the people who did you wrong. but those people are long gone by the time you realize you have been taken advantage of. your options are keep getting kicked in your ass or learn from your mistakes and do what everybody else does.

i have been punished long enough. time served.
i dont dare all of the internet to find me and do something about it. but i do dare those who threaten me to come and do something about it. i am not constantly a tough guy. but when threatened i can be. i already have plans for restitution. you will get nothing from me.

Are you married?  Have kids?  How do they tolerate your behavior.  I can tell you that my family has made my life way too difficult even though I personally never stole anything.

LOL - your probably right about that. but i am very self aware and in control of myself. it wasnt an addiction. it was pure greed. i didnt do it cause i needed to. i did it cause i wanted to.

riding crotch rocket is euphemism for masturbating. I thought that BTC guy really got balls to admit he is masturbating while not smoking weed or scamming other people :D

I'm also not addicted to my pastime. It is too interesting, I can do it any time I wish and as much as I wish. Sit at computer solving problem for days until it is solved or something better comes out, or take a break and spend week playing computer games. And it gets some money. Not much but still better than any other job in terms of time spent working/money earned. No one needs a person who can secure corporative network, train employees on safe computer usage practices or maintain IT infrastructure. And probably I would not want such job anymore.

My Dad was a scammer.  He died on the day he was murdered
What a coincidence, died on the same day he got murdered! Scamming is dangerous business, you never know what the person you scammed is capable when pissed off. Scamming in real word requires some sort of physical interaction, that is where the anonymity is lost.

Deep down there is a very old overweight man who will come out and then die.  And that's if you are lucky.
nope, i am young and healthy. the only thing you are right about is i will die. and i am not afraid.

The how do you justify the risk of stealing?  You admit it makes you feel awful.  Do you need the money?  Do you realize the legal expenses will wipe you out.  Despite my Dad being occasionally rich, he died broke.  Over time I have out earned him by a great deal.
i dont know. first, if its done to me i dont feel as guilty. its the way of the world.

second, i dont see it as stealing. stealing is taking something that doesnt belong to you without permission. i dont steal. i scam. its different. i didnt take anything. it was given to me. i just failed to live up to my end of the deal. like defaulting on a loan.

i no longer need the money. this is a big part of the reason why i no longer scam.

i can handle the legal expenses, if caught.

How old are you? Do any of you IRL friend/family know you scam? If they don't how do you explain the money?
i am in my 20's. my so called "friends" are scammers. they know. so does my family. i dont hide it.

I don't want anything from you, nor do I ever want to actually meet you. You aren't anyone I would knowingly associate with. I dislike liars, thieves, and general assholes like you.

i understand. i am guilty. but you still dont know me. you only see the worst in me. deep down there is a good man who wants to come out.

Well set him free, then. People change, I understand that. Actions speak louder than words, so do it, not talk about it :) I want to see people posting that you made it right with them.

i dont think anybody deserves to be scammed. but if they fall for it they are certainly naive.

most people dont change. but i am trying. i have established communication with the people i scammed. that is the first step. i have offered them the goods i promised or a refund. i am waiting for a response. you WILL see everybody except littleshop say i made it right.

-the majority of what i have was made honestly. candies is an example. ive done more honest business than bad business.
-i have not done ebay/paypal scams in years.
-the last time i scammed was on my BTC guy account. i have not scammed since and i dont ever plan to scam again.
-i never planned to scam on my BTC guy account. i just wanted to test the water and see what kind of offers i get. when people started throwing large numbers at me i flipped.
-the two guys the forum members approached are not me. they are pissed that i brought attention to them and they have been riding me to take care of it.
-i am not retropcdos. i just know him.
-i plan to pay back everybody i burned on this forum.
-i plan to donate alot of money to make up for the bad decisions i have made.
-i plan to do alot of community service to make up for the bad decisions i have made.
-i want to get in to community service and non-profit work for a living.
-i really am sorry for what i have done. it will never happen again for any amount of money.

You are aware that is nonsensical? If the world was filled by people like you and someone started the lies and theft, the world becomes cruel and unfair because of exactly your kind.

If one kid attacks another in the schoolyard, "that third kid started it" won't go well as an excuse. It would only sound sensible if it's done against the person who wronged you in the first place.

Unfortunately they can't understand empathy Because there is a structure damage in the brain, maybe in 100 years when brain science advances far enough to fix these damage.

I should have also added an arrow pointing to the psychopath outlier who will be naturally selected for if this technology becomes commonly used to profile people.

Also, do those error bars look like they describe the spread and distribution of the data? That is why people should never trust a chart that only shows averages and error bars but doesn't show the datapoints.

Questions:
- Are/were you receiving psychological treatment or do you plan on getting treatment?
- Assuming you are honest about wanting to stop scamming people: When you say you want to reimburse all the people you burned, do you think that you'll eventually live up to it or do you reckon this could be coming from an urge to tell people what they want to hear? Like some kind of scamming automatism?
- As for your personal environment having a negative impact on you, have you ever tried changing your environment? Do you think you could ever start over somewhere else and successfully establish "normal" personal relationships based on mutual trust and without the feeling that you're being taken advantage of all the time?

(Sorry if my wording is a bit awkward, but English is not my first language.)

Do you like what you do?

Do you believe there is any wrongness in what you did/are doing?  Why or why not?

Do you feel any regret or remorse?  Why or why not?

Do you think you could make the same amount of money by not scamming?  Why or why not?

Do you like yourself?
1. I like the idea of free money, so yes.
2. Wrongness doesn't exist. If you let yourself overthink it and are emotionally unstable then bitcoin isn't for you, let alone scamming.
3. Wish I had done it mor, could use the funds.

1) its not their money any more. its mine now. i was gonna pay back with no conditions. when i noticed matthew was back and paying people i wanted mine too. im waiting until an agreement is made cause i dont wanna hand over my coins and then matthew tells me im not getting mine or he will only give me 0.5 BTC.
2) look up definition of steal and scam. its different. stealing is taking without permission. scamming is convincing somebody to give it to you. if BFL doesnt deliver they didnt steal from you. they scammed you.
3) everybody has their own personality quirks. some people smoke others drink. some like to be on top some like it from behind. we are all very different.
4) if there is an after life im not sure what will happen to me. i make bad decisions but deep down i have a good heart. its hard for you to see or believe but i do care about people. i dont wish bad things for anybody. not even hitler or terrorists. i have nothing but good wishes for everybody. i hope whats inside me outweighs my actions. i also hope one day my actions reflect whats inside me.

i looked up autism. i do have issues with social interaction and occasional repetitive behavior. but i have no issues with communication. my communication skills are excellent. i dont think im autistic.

i will admit i am a liar. i will lie to people i dont know. but not to friends or family. i dont consider myself a thief at all. i havent stolen anything since i was a teenager. and i probably never will again.

i will never have a grave. i am an organ doner. whats left of my body will be donated to science or medicine.

How are so many people so gullible to get scammed?

Why can't you just give some evidence other than your word that you will pay us back?

i told matthew i would pay you first to show i was serious about doing this. he told me thats not enough pay everybody in full then he will talk to me. he and john took my user name off the list of people he owes. he has no plans to pay me. it doesnt look like there will be any progress.

you managed to take advantage of a human imperfection called trust. doesnt really take any skill. why r you bragging about it.

my 4 year old sister can trick people too.

I don't want anything from you, nor do I ever want to actually meet you. You aren't anyone I would knowingly associate with. I dislike liars, thieves, and general assholes like you.

i understand. i am guilty. but you still dont know me. you only see the worst in me. deep down there is a good man who wants to come out.

yet you say you will continue to live comfortably off scams.

I wonder when the fbi will start to look for bitcoin scammers. that picture of his bike and the background and the box that says clothes and shoes might enough to track him down, looking up the model of bike, registered to person of certain age, narrow down places to look, repost that picture on peoples facebook pages in possible cities that match, my gf is really good and knowing what state / area a picture is from just by the way the buildings are made... ill have to ask if it looks familiar to her.... maybe you should move now and hide under a rock before someone you scammed tracks you down.

edit, i can almost make out what the other building says in the background...
edit, i think the fbi will track down anyone who has stolen any item if the value is over a certain amount... with btc at 116$ right now, its probably enough to get them after you....
edit, time to move to a country without internet

Why do people like the above poster act like "scamming" and "fraud" aren't everyday parts of life? You work a 9 to 5 at a desk, I work a 9 to 5 taking other people's money. There isn't any difference, it's a career choice, it's a job and work. Yes of course people are living comfortably off scams and bitcoin, that is HALF of the basis of bitcoin. Have you ever been to the darknet websites where thousands of identities are sold everyday, or counterfeit goods, or bank account information?

You really think people go out and buy bitcoins so they can send them to their friends overseas? Do you really think people care that much, to go invest in something a bunch of 25 year old males are saying is the future? It's a currency RAN by criminals and anonymity. Between Silk Road, BMR, and the hundreds of darknet websites, there are millions of dollars traded everyday.

Bitcoin isn't the new solution to paypal, it's not you go on the bitcoin website and you see two healthy people smiling saying "I got paid for my items!", that is what ebay and paypal are for. You know there is a reason why on many currency exchanges they don't give a shit to verify your identity.

I am just slightly annoyed of people trying to legitimize something that has no place in the real world. You can't get the average man to buy a bitcoin, there is nothing wrong with his dollars in his mind. There are people out there preaching bitcoins because they have made a ton of money with it. The price can hit a million dollars a coin, it really doesn't even matter. Whatever the price is, crime is still what makes the clock tick. Bitcoin is crime, crime is bitcoin.

If have never been on these websites and interacted with the communities there, your opinion is useless.

Seeing as he has done nothing again, I think it is worth posting this again.

The information is old, so he may have moved or shaved or something. But I am sure it could be used to bring him to justice.

My offer still stands. Pay back the coins and I will delete this post and all others like it.

OK, I have done a lot of independent research and I am 99% confident in what I am about to disclose. I have each bit of information confirmed by a multitude of people.

I know BTC guy's name, address, phone number(s), transaction history, eBay ID, Dwolla Account and more.

As I know that BTC guy will read this, I will address it as a public message to him from here on.

I know that you will be reading this, because you have contacted admins pretending you are innocent, when you, Dean/Dan Munt/Munet, are a scammer and trying to pretend that you are not.

I have enough evidence to get you sentenced to several years in prison and will be filling reports in both the USA and the UK. I will also provide information to other victims of your crimes who will be able to press charges in their countries.

You only have one choice other than me reporting you to every single agency I possibly can and that is to return the coins. If the coins are not in my account within 24 hours from now, 2 PM Chicago time, I will contact every single police agency possible for your actions. I will also do my best to file a joint claim in Illinois and sue you with the other people you have scammed. This means that not only will you serve hard time, you will also have to give the money back and will most likely have to pay damages and legal fees. I may not be able to sue the money back, but I am sure that you will face time. This can all be avoided by just returning the coins.

If you no longer have the coins, we can arrange a deal where you can pay us back in cash in a public location for the exact monetary value of the coins. If you have the coins you can send mine back here 1BdtwdXquSQLF4hpDVKBDFzZHHZ61VAACd. I would also be prepared to distribute the other people’s coins if necessary.

To prove I am serious, I am posting your confirmed address here.

Dean Munt/Dan Munt/Dean Munet or whatever alias you are going by today
2449 N 72nd Court
Elm Wood Park Ill 60707-2018

This is a photo you:

https://i.imgur.com/Xjji3.jpg

If you do return the coins, I will remove all the information I have posted on the forum and also delete all the data I have on you on my computer, other victims have agreed to do the same.
You seriously picked the wrong guy to mess with, I will do everything legally possible to bestow justice upon you. You better return these coins.

Man, look at the guy. Are you sure that it's him? He looks like a homeless. I thought he was scamming just because he is a sociopath, but it looks like he really needs the money. BTCguy: if that guy is really you, I'm willing to donate.

To the scammers,

If (as many believe) bitcoin increases in value by a substantial amount. The many people that you have scammed out there will have the finance to not only track you down, but to either pay you a visit, or more likely, pay someone else to pay you a visit. And that such a visit would involve much violence and through torture taking of your wealth, or destruction of everything you have/own/love. That your friends and family (if you have any, or ever get any) will very likely be in danger because of your actions. And because there are now (in the future) a LOT of wealthy people who want get revenge on you.

And if for some reason, they can't track you down with their wealth, then this would very likely be because you've had to change names/identity/state/county/country numerous times and will have to continue to run unless you want you and yours to be kneecapped.

People who get scammed are generally 'innocent' people. But I'm sure their wealth could find not so 'innocent' people who take payment to cause harm others (very easy to find tbh).

So, aren't you at worried for your safety? and those around you? or is it a case of live fast and probably suffer a lot and die fast?

Thankfully I don't get scammed anymore, because I've lost faith in most people thanks to scammers and retards, but I find that a real shame that I lost that 'innocent trust', and that others have lost it also, its a blight on humanity and the caring nature that people SHOULD have. I wonder if in the future people would be interested in a combined fund to hunt down bitcoin scammers.

Remember, its not about the money, its about the justice revenge.

While I don't wish violence upon anybody, there are some I don't wish violence upon more than others.

Also, I am sure that someone in the USA with the know how could report BTC Guy to the police who whoever cares. If I were to ever get my coins back, I would be happy to contribute to a reward, others have said similar things.
