Hi guys, Ive purchased some S9s from Bitmain but I want more units. Is there a legit shop to purchase some, in USA or Canada?

I am sure someone more knowledgeable will be along to advise with experiences with bitmainwarranty :)

bitmainwarranty is better but it's in the US if you  live here you can google it i have done all my returns thu them they are good but not to sure if they have any S9 .

There's no legit shops to purchase S9 miners at this time. You can buy direct from Bitmain Tech but they are shady as f*ck. If your S9 arrives DOA, Bitmain Tech will ignore/deny/lose your warranty claim. They are shady as f*ck. As others have pointed out, their US distributor, Bitmainwarranty, is better but they're out of S9 and unlikely to receive any more from Bitmain Tech which is a shady as f*ck company. Did I mention Bitmain Tech is shady as f*ck?

Well they are not as shady as fuck.

They send the gear to you about 99 out of 100 times.

In my case I have placed more then fifty orders since dec 2013.

All of them were sent to me fairly fast. 58 of 60 worked okay or better them okay for me then a year in each case.  That is pretty good.

Now here is the bad part.
If you get shitty gear which I did two of say 60 orders they are not good on warranties.
One problem unit they promised compensation to me and to many others that got them.

I asked them from October to May for promised compensation. Of 150 usd. They finally sent it to me after me then seven months of complaining on this site.

Now to call them shady as fuck is wrong,but if you have an issue they suck is true.

If the gear came slow.  It the gear came broken say 25% not 5% or maybe 3% . I would agree they were shady. I would say. Whatever you pay add 5 to 10 % for the few that will break resulting in poor service.

I think buying through other options may be more costly. But I'd like to hear some suggestions as well.

Wrong on all counts. Good delivery times, decent product far more often than not. Some folks have had troubles with repairs, others have had zero issues with repairs. All in all I'd give them 4 out of 5 stars

Shady and outright thieves are the likes of AMT/Bitmine.ch, BFL, KnC, Hashfast, etc.

Yea they seem like a bad bet in my book's I saw them post a while back: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1454739.msg15795079#msg15795079 .  They say they have been around for 6 year's, and seem to overstate/blur words to make them sound like more then re-seller.  You can see in link above I website has not been around 6 year's.  Even seem to be using LKETC's dragon model name to possibly make people think they were around back then.

Only legit shop's direct are Bitmain's site and BitmainWarranty's site.   No one should even mess with a company like them in my opinion I would love to see some data center pic's from them... as location is hard to believe aswell.

Zoomhash is legitimate, but they never carried the S9 at all (and I don't think they bothered with the S7, though they DO carry the Avalon 6).

If in the US, they now offer call it, pre-paid local service warranty for 90 and 180 days. If a board breaks, cheaper to pay up-front to send to them in Colorado vs shipping to Hong Kong with all that entails. re: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1618169.0

yes they have a connection.  Somewhere on bitmain.com  there is a page with referrals to bitmainwarranty
