Why investing in cloudmining when you can buybsome hasing power from online rig rental sites like nicehash and miningrigrentals. Cloudmining and buying hashpower from sites has no difference. The only difference is by investing in first you are putting your money into a blackhole and while investing in other you are putting it into use and you can see how your funds are being used.

Both are different and would be hard to answer. With cloud mining if you find a good company then you are fine, However with hardware you will have to invest large amounts of money initially  to get a profit only after about an year.

Lets just say it'll cost you more in a cloudmining but a hardware mining can be a long term profit. Like they said, it is hard to find a good cloudmining company because most are scams disguised as a legit company. Hardware mining on the other hand may cost you electricit and the materials needed but if you have your own mining gear then you can use that profit for a long term.

Hardware mining are multiple times is better than cloud mining especially for mining an alt coins. A lot of my friend are still do the hardware mining till this time and they're said if the hardware mining still profitable.

Stick with buying GPU cards.  You can sell it back for atleast half the price most of the time.  Stickw ith the top of the line and newest cards so the value holds up the best.

GPU cards are not profitable at all. Even if you have the top notch in GPU cards your hash power will still be lower than that of asiic miner. And keeping on buying new cards will increase the loss further even more.

you don't have to do it yourself so there is no sound in your home, and no maintenance and high electricity cost.
you pay and receive the profit by just sitting back and relax.
cons
the profit is so little, because the cloudmining should also make a profit so they will take a share.

pros
you get all the reward (you only pay a fee to your pool for example) but nothing too big.
everything is in your control
cons
you have to maintain the equipment, do proper cooling, stand the sound and have some place to put it all.
you will get a big ass electric bill
there is a need for a rather large investment to be competitive in this market.

Cloudmining  are just total scams and  not worth  for the money  and  dont intend to  put even a single centavo on it. Hardware mining would be good  as  long  you have a money to invest on and you have cheap electricity then for sure you would be profitable.

I woul d rather say that hardware mining is more profitable than any cloudmining sites out there since mostly or shall we say all of cloudmining sites who's been existing at these moment and from the past are turned scam, but in hardware mining is you really can see how the profit grows and you can assure that you can earn with it passively, but the sad fact for hardware mining is the profit for that thing is low and i think it will die soon since block halving really makes the difficulty even harder.

but the question is where is the legit cloudmining? honestly all cloudmining sites are scam. and if there is one 2 so-called paying cloudmining exist like hashflare etc. with them reaching to ROI is very difficult. There are 2 answers:

1. If you don't have much money but you are looking for profit then forget about cloud mining - it is very hard to find legit service.

2. However, if have some money to spare, have place to host your rigs, build a mining room, your electricity cost is very low or you have access to free energy,

and on top of that you can spend couple thousand on ASIC miners then you may try to start mining BTC.

I would advise against both options though. BTC solo mining era is gone. You are late.

That is the other alternative for the hardware miners since bitcoins are not fully profitable by now, and my question for now what is the best altcoin to mine and yet still profitable? Since i think eth is little bit annoying for now,  and also cloudmining cannot do nothing as it is since their is no real mining behind those and only just been made for scam purposes thats why im closing the thoughs upon investng on them and not recommending them to anyone.

Hardware mining is real mining, cloud mining is a joke where almost all services that provide cloud mining are possible scammers.
If someone have money to invest in real mining, to buy everything and set up little mining farm, then that is a good thing. I support miners, and they are holding all of us here, without them bitcoin is nothing. Cloud mining services I don't support, womw of those services are proven scammers, and to many times these services just crash and disappear with money that people invested.

Yes, running own mining is simply similar to running our own business whereas cloud mining are equivalent depending on others and investing into others business. Running a mining unit must be a challenging one as it needs to concentrate on lot of aspects : cooling down the equipments and managing against electricity city costs and increasing network difficulty.

You really should do some research on the forum. There are threads with lists of closed cloud mining sites and the lists are extensive.

NO, cloud mining is not safe to use. You are sending money to a private company, that usually is not what they claim. The most common issues are:
-CM company never mines and is just a domain with a btc address
-CM is mining, but for themselves. You don't know how much miners they have, what they are mining and how much they are earning. You are getting paid scraps.
-CM looks legit at first, they seem to be mining and paying out a lot, but after a couple months they disappear with your money.

Well, if you prefer the cheapest way, then I suggest you to invest on the cloud mining but the earnings there are not that big like the earnings in the Hardware mining because in the hardware mining, it mines a lot of bitcoin than a cloud mining can because of its hardware power which is really expensive. So the choice is yours.

Well honestly i do some research about cloud mining but i dont fully understand it. as i read your opinion i know it is not advisable to use then it is very scary and risky though we can earn a small amount from it but i would prefer to post in the signature campaign to make money than investing in cloud mining. What is it that you don't understand?
The idea behind CM is that you buy a share, which could be a full standalone miner and someone hosts it for you in his big mine. You pay for the hardware, he pays for the space, power and cooling and you share the profits. In reality companies are abusing the system and hiding their real profits to limit the payments and extend the payback period. Sometimes they don't even buy the hardware and run once enough people buy the contracts.

I won't prefer you to believe and trust cloud mining because they are scams although I'm saying that all of them are scam. Maybe 0.5%  you can trust as long they can provide proof of mining and there are some that are legit.

Hardware mining is legit but the problem is that will consume too much electricity and if you are living in a country where electricity is high then don't intend to build your own.

You have mentioned that in having a hardware mining it would cost you firstly from buying an equipment or gears and second the electricity, I don't know if it can be for a long term profit unless you have a free source of power or electricity and I guess you will need a maintenance for your equipment which will also cost some dollars . Yeah, both the types of bitcoin mining in general are not really that profitable anymore and it is not getting any easier by the time since the prices are going off, so even if you have free electricity the hardware you buy for the mining is expensive and you won’t be able to start really profiting from it until a year of constant mining, and that applies to cloud mining as well.

Any investment is like that. No difference or anything. All of your money goes to capital like machinery, raw materials, etc. I'm talking about investment/franchise in general. At first, you can't earn anything at all since you're still growing back your capital. But once you're done with that phase, all of the preceding income would be profit. The only thing that you would have expenses to are electricity and maintenance.

If you have "free" electricity (which I doubt) then you'll get your capital back in a much shorter time than those that pays huge electric bills. I think mining is still profitable if you have decent capital. Otherwise, you should just look for a part time job since it would pay much higher, although the earnings wouldn't be a passive one.

i will choose hardware mining because its a real mining but we need to calculate the electricity fee and if there is not profitable then we don't have to mining. i don't want to choose cloud mining as today we know that many cloud mining out there but we don't know where is the best cloud mining that we can invest. but for suggestion in cloud mining, maybe you can go with hashnest because they are really mining with hardware and they are the one of the oldest cloud mining that still online until now.

Cloud mining is too risky, I have a bad experience with many cloud mining sites. Unfortunately I was scammed by them. One of them is Hashoceans which scams in summer 2016. So i advice you to avoid them and be carefull when you put your money. I advice people for  Hardware mining, which it's a good domain to get a good profit. of course you should first invest in equipments.

Cloud mining doesn't really stand a chance compared on actual hardware mining because we all know that most cloud mining are just scams and also I don't really believe on the returns that they promised because its really high actually compared on any investment site. They usually ran off on our money when they accumulate enough funds.

I don't know why would someone be offering a legit cloud mining site if he has his own mining farm. He can take all of those profits, no need to share it to others. Offer contracts to cover the cost of hardware.
Buy hardware and start mining, pay investors 50% of the profits, blame it on the maintenance fees.
Pay them back some of their money and then reduce payments to scrap, blame it on the increasing difficulty.
Sell the hardware.

It still surprises me how one can even compare the two with what we have and seeing today. Its like comparing USA in terms of the advancement in technology and one Third world country. Cloud mining has never prove us  wrong in two ways;

It all depends on how much hashing power you have on either two and whether you have a cheap source of electricity to run the hardware, you also have to account for the running costs of hardware mining and the inevitable noise pollution. I really think cloud mining is simply a bad idea. It is true you can make your money back within 12 months, but the site will probably exit scam by then. The legit sites (impossible to know which) won't give you a guaranteed profit; sometimes you will lose money because of electricity fees. Hardware mining is not worth it unless you have a company.

Cloud mining is not really worth for longer runs since we do all know that mining difficulty does increase Inc any other week which means even though we are receiving returns but in longer runs you will surely feel the amounts that having deducted to the payouts.

Since you're a Newbie, I will assume that you've never heard of hashOcean, Scrypt.cc and the thousand other ponzi scams that are hiding under the name of "cloud mining". All of these website run away when there's already a good amount of people invested in their website. Mostly they claim that they got hacked so the investors will not feel as bad as when they simply run away without saying any lame reason to do so.

There might be an existing cloud mining site but it will be much better if you buy your own hardware if you can afford to buy one anyway.

Fatanut, what can you say about hashnest? They are legit cloud mining company. I don't know why but they prefer selling hash rates online while they can also to mine that ecuipments for themselves. Maybe that's somehow good marketing trick because also they take fee from trading and they aren't depended on mining difficulty. By other side, many scam website claims that they are real cloud mining but behind that action is that bitcoin is mineable coin and many new people really believes this at first.

I think they are doing it because they get the capital instantly and can use it for trading or other investment projects.
They have the equipment, but no coins.
Hypothetically their hardware is able to mine 100 coins a year, but they would have to wait a year to get it.
They offer cloud contracts and get the coins in a month.
This leaves them with another 11 months to invest the coins, employ new people, buy new facilities. This puts money to work at once.

In altcoin maybe you can mine 100 coin but in bitcoin you can not earn that amount even you are using ant miner s9 those people who are offering hashrate online most of them are fake or if its real they are just offering hash rate due to their place is not profitable to mine bitcoin and they can increase their revenue if they start to accept many clients  just forgiving hash and those who are invested will not get any profit or gaining profit but too small than making your own rig or buy your own hardware mining tools.. much more better than cloud mining.

I personally prefer the cloud mining rather than having to bother using hardware. because the article is simple and practical. but these are extremely vulnerable cloudminning scam.

Can't say anything about them, really. It's just the same "it's a legit cloud mining site" scenario over and over again just like hashOcean, we don't know if they are going to run away until they do. Let's say that hashNest is indeed legit and they don't have the objective to run away any time. Their rate will surely be really low because that's how a "legit" cloud mining site operates. You let other people rent your mining power but you give it for a little high price. It's basically just hardware mining but you let other people rent your rigs so you can have better profits. I think that's the only reason why legit cloud mining site operates.

You already know that cloud mining will end up into scam and yet you 'personally' prefer cloud mining? And why did you thought that hardware bothers you? On what way it bothers you? For investing for some rigs? It's an investment mate you know and you really need to have your own hardware when it comes to real mining, but with cloud mining this is actually dangerous.

how could people fall for that kind of scheme while its clearly stated for many times that cloudminings is not very profitable and mostly of them are scam you can actually see their feedbacks on other buried threads out here and also i dont think that we can get profits if we used mining hardware since at the first place blocks for bitcoins is are much harder to mine at this point.

Some people are just dumb, I guess. You know that it's going to scam you but "whatever". Anyone who's knowledgeable enough about stuffs like trading or any other ways of earning money will not waste his time and money joining cloud mining sites. People know that better stuffs exist like signature campaign yet still stick with cloud mining sites or HYIP sites just because they are too lazy to educate themselves about all these things. Without learning new things in life, you will always stick to the thing that you have been doing ever since even if you know that it's not the best thing for you.

We can't blame those people if they think that the "real" mining is bothering them and treating those cloud mining scams as reliable. Cloud mining is not profitable this days but im not saying its a scam. Better to invest your money in building your own bitcoin miner but the disadvantages of it is, Electricity fees, maintenance fees but there are advantages also: you pick your own mining pool and you can mine bitcoin 24/7.
But i suggest to have knowledge first on the matter or research it first to have better understanding in mining bitcoin i think it has increase its difficulty to solve blocks so you need to pick a good graphics card and there are new methods to mine it faster.

When they have cheap electricity cost and mining rigs, why won't they simply mine for themselves? Lifetime hash contracts, that's simply fake contract. One side of cloud mining is that hashnest takes fee when trading ghs and their roi is so low, it don't worths to waste time.

Try to calculate your your roi there so you could see the real result ans surely you will wait for long time to get your capital aswell as in there. Cloud mining is not really an option so the only real option is hardware mining but the issue here is you need a big capital to invest and probably even more important than that is to have cheap electricity rates without that the possibility of profiting from mining gets lower.

hashnest is reliable in terms its not a scam, roi wise, sometimes u do, sometimes u dont ,depends what price u get in at, it certainly has the highest chance of roi out of all the cloud mining. theres a advantage at hashnest, they have a market  where u can trade ghs, u can either trade it or wait til the machines close to dying and sell it  ,people/companys with lower power cost will  buy it on the cheap off the market. that really helps  cut roi time   for the user. i got in pretty cheap im guarantee to roi if i sell now ,if i let it ride i still have a extremely high chance of  roi. there will be winners and losers, its not like other cloudmining sites where the majority loses.

I think in that hardware mining has a big advantage rather than cloud mining because you owned it personally and the investments that you have been capitalizing is your own  money alone. In cloud mining it has a big difference with hardware mining and those offering investments is only prone to fake mining visionary and websites that could be turning out of scam to many investors who do invest in the mining sites. I am not planning to have hardeware minings but I must say and recommend to those who liked mining investments to be at hardware mining and not those uncertain investments of cloud mining sites.

In 2017, cloud mining to me is a no go area for whatever reason the site might put forward simply because of what I have seen in the past and how this mining sites just come out of no where every now and then, and fold up again. In the case of hard ware mining, that is still a go area for me but not with enough capital because the difficulty in getting a bitcoin these days is something else but I will be open to a collaboration offering hardware mining rather than cloud.

Since you already know that cloud mining operations most of the time turn out to be scams then why do you prefer it? At least with hardware mining even if you don't make money you could always recover a part of your investment by selling your mining rigs.
