For me, to be a good bitcoin investor we need to be a wise person. I had tried some invesment company, they paying or legitimate but in few or short days,weeks or months they will run away; they will not paying anymore.

Tried and tested tips:

1. Invest bitcoin if the company is 0-10 running days.

2. Make sure that the deposits, withdraws and member is increasing.

3. Search for more information about that company.

It's very risky to invest into HYIPs or cloud mining sites. But for experienced investors in can give some profit. What about your advices:
1.True, you need to invest in early phase of site.
2. Many investments sites shows fake members and deposit information to get some trust of users.
3. It's hard to find information about new sites. If they give their office address or contacts, in mostly cases it's fake.
It's better to avoid such sites and don't feed scammers.

tip 1.
dont invest in anything claiming to make you more bitcoin, simply by handing funds over, without any other real work involved.

tip 2.
if your hearing about it, you are already at the bottom of the pile and already going to lose out

tip 3.
the person telling you about it is going to make profit from your involvement (if you ignore tip 1). so when you get scammed get your funds back from the guy in profit who informed you about it.

tip 4.
follow tip 1 and then report people who are advertising such schemes so less people are enticed by it and less people become victims

tip 5.
dont ignore rule 1. and rule 4.

tip 6.
follow rules 1. 4.  and 5...

if unsure read rule 6 atleast 10 times

These two tips mean nothing at all, many ponzi scams are running more than ten days (hashocean was online more than a year) and their stats (deposits, withdraws, etc.) are increasing day by day especially in the beginning.

Yes, you should always do a research before you invest your money online and you will realize that the majority of these "investment" sites are scams and even if they are not they don't worth the risk.

I could be wrong about what he was trying to say, but I think that he might have meant that you should invest if it was running within that time frame and withdraw your money quickly after that period of time passes. Then again I could be wrong, but I have to typically take a lot of liberty on this forum with my interpretations.

The biggest tip I follow is research the company. Always, anyways, all the time. Never enter an investment without research.

Your first point is related to the hyip's work for me just working for a short term for returning your invest are back to your pouch. and the number two are referring that is a new site, with totally the reputable site, are already having a lot of member in this day. the correct tips are the number 3 for my personally.

Looks you are wanting a hyip investiment. The companies you say, aren't real companies, just some scammers that create a site to steal investors.

number 1 is my friends tips too, he said this is just avoid if the site is getting scam and the percentage for paying the member is big. number 2 i think all the site investment will increasing day by day. number 3 this is the important thing when we want to make investment on the site because we should know all about the company so we can save when we want to make invest.

Those tips are only applicable to Ponzi schemes and even following those tips, will not guarantee you to not lose money. The smaller operators of these Ponzi schemes do not follow the same rules as the big ones. They might be happy to run with 5 BTC investments, and this might happen in the first couple of days, since the launch. It all depends on how desperate these operators are for money.

me i will search first for more information about the company whether it is a hyip or for real as i don't trust them anymore, i was been scammed once and i can still remember the money that i invested luckily i was able to find this forum and learned more about alt trading so far i was able to generate some good earnings in a monthly base. its money we talked so you are right think wisely before you enter any investment.

For as long as there are people still joining Ponzi investments, we will never cease reading stories about how they got scammed. Sometimes, we just don't learn from experience and we just hope that things are going to be different this time around. I think it is better to just hold your bitcoins while you are still searching for a fundamentally sound investment, if there is really one. Now that the price of bitcoin has started to really increase, even just holding it will give you nice profit already.

the best way to prevent and avoid being scammed is to not participate to any ponzi or hyip . that is not actually a company they are just a group of people trying to make their website appearing to be a good and trusted investment website but you would notice they have only information about their company even their identity is fake .

I suppose those tips are as good as any but I wouldn't rely on them when investing large sums of money. What if the site/company is a long term scam? They could build up client trust over a long period of time in order to get members to deposit more. I think a good rule of thumb is to stay away from site/companies that are run by anonymous people (unless the site has been around for 10+ years and even then you would still need to be careful).
A page where you can see names and pictures of the owners/team doesn't guarantee against scam but at least you know who you're dealing with. And it allows you to do more in depth research.

investing money (bitcoin) is not really an strange or even complicated thing. it is so much easier that you may think. you just have to learn how to use the resources that you have access to like your brain and also a search engine.

your brain to think when you see someone is saying we are paying 1000% profit in a short time.

and a search engine to search and find out some feedback from others and then again using your brain to see how honest those feedbacks are.

I think you are promoting an HYIP company here.  If you really want to invest in a legit company, you must make sure that it is running for sometime now.  Investing in 0 - 10 day old company only means your investment is in a big risk.  This company may shut down anytime since it is not time tested.

About the member ever increasing, it seems you are talking about a ponzi scheme company where the company get their payout from the incoming member.  This is proven to close in a short period of time.

You shouldnt just search, do a research again and again especially if you will invest a big sum of money.

It's caused by some of your points are reffered into the related scam investment place. and that's why a lot of the another comment will preventing you for investing in those site for avoiding lost your money anytime. you need for learning more from there and especially from the beginner and help section, because a lot of the people are already said about this over 5times in my eyes. and i guess you need for recorrecting all of your points again.

Do you know the average life of this companies, I bet it is less than 10 days and again concerning deposit and withdraws, it is their website and they can rig this information. My advise to you is to move away from these company most of they ended up a scam

What ever you say but if you are investing and earning means that you are promoting the scam even knowingly, which will get harm for the old users who will be get scam and you are also liable for that scam as you are promoting their scam scheme

Never trust anyone and never risk an amount that is more than what you can afford to lose.

Don't making investment into HYIP'S website because fast or slow will become scam in the ending and don't making investment into fake cloud mining that don't really mining will become scam too.

Do not follow tips and advice blindly. Do your own research on the company you want to invest and be sure to verify those information you are getting. If you are sure with the company, invest money you can afford to lose.

Hey OP are you talking about joining HYIPs in your guide? Because a wise Investor will avoid those kinds of site. And I am for sure that you know it is a fake company doing that because your guidlines are to invest in early made sites which have increasing investors, For that I know you have observed hyips that run away investments. For me it is still a bad advise to invest in those sites.

Well I don't think that your guide is quite useful, there are a lot of investment site that closed after open 3 days and checking the deposit and withdrawal status can be easily tricked by the owner like happened a lot of time in Ponzi scheme, searching information of the site is the most make sense guides here, when you want to invest remember, this is bitcoin world, when you lost your coin, there won't be any way to recover your coin, be smart and stay away from HYIP and ponzi

How do u know if s site is ponzi or hyip? I haven't read any clear definition of those two and how to know if i run into them. Answers very much appreciated.

Good info about how can we prevent future scam attempts. Just I`m not sure there is a way for us to be 100 % sure in some site. They can run for a years, they can have numbers how members deposits and withdrawals are increasing, many information`s and advertising around the internet but even with that they just can disappear one day without any explanation.
No one can give any guaranties about this types of investing, simply cause history showed that in almost every case this kind of services end up not well. In beginning people take money, after that everyone lose.

I think those methods you are giving or tip is not working anymore because almost all investing site are scam or any ponzi sites..
Maybe it is the best to invest if you want to sure that you will not scam is to invest in gambling casino that offering investment.. but its not 100% sure that you can make a good profit..
If you really want to have a good profit and more safe better to save your money and hold bitcoins just like now we are experience of increasing price again..

I'm not promoting any HYIP Company. First of all, I'm new to Bitcoin and the only HYIP company that I tried. And I think  HYIP is the only company you don't need to work ,or it is easy money company just invest Bitcoin. So that I had post that topic to help and to advise me not to promote.

first = invest at your own risk if you can't afford to lose don't invest , invest atleast the minimum in the website and use the affiliate program.
second = don't invest again once is enough to you can't scam when the website is turning into scam.

If you want to be a good investor or prevent you from scam, just simply don't invest in ponzi site. There is no legit ponzi site. Just better invest in trading, there is no easy money when investing.

Ahh, OK. If the site is ponzi not trusted, so if join in HYIP Company not a ponzi. It better to continue. The HYIP Company, they pay you in limited days but it will stop secret style. So if you join HYIP company make sure it is 0-10 running days if it is  20-30 running days your money that you invest will 50%, so its better not join.

Even it is running for about 0-10 more days or months there still a chance to run away .these called ponzi scheme or site not a company.

I think so, those tips that you post will help newbie. probably the most of investment sites are not legal by goverment, so if the investment site is turned into scam, the Investor can not do anything. I have tried 2 3 sites earlier but out of that only 1 site gave me profit and other 2 sites ran away and kept my money in pending withdrawal so I would recommend not to trust anyone in bitcoin world. Do deal only with person and site you know personally. Do check websites data in whois.net

Very sad to hear   regarding  on your situation brother. Thats why   we  must be vigilant  on any investment we would  plan to put  our money on because as   of today there are  lots  of   investments cams do exist today and   do whatever it takes  as  long they could able  to get investors on their website. This includes hyips and  ponzi sites  which are a total mess.  Checking  whois.net  would  not  guarantee   at all because you wont still know  when  they would run away and  they would  try to accumulate  much  bitcoin as they can.

Although there is high risk on trading and becoming lost, but on trading we can make minimal lost and never got scam although there are no people who gave guarantee the markets will not become scam markets, but trading become nice choice for not get scam than making investment into HYIP'S website.

Yeah dude, i couldn't agree more with you.. when the peoples are interest to deposit too and every day increasing amount of depositor. It means your investment also attracted by many people and potentially give a good profit. Okay if it complete you get a profit point, but it is not enough. For us to become a a good bitcoin investor, first of course we search or check very well about the company you are going to invest in, second is know the project if it is realistic and achievable for the community and be observant and often ask other's opinion.

First off is research what you will invest on. A good investor will always check beforehand whatever options they have for investments. Also, apart from doing due diligence and researches, a good investor will also know the integrity of the firm or investment in which they are going to put their money to. Lastly, a good investor will diversify his assets and not throw it in a single investment.

Most of the programs which are too be ponzi schemes like Rev. Share or cloud mining, closes after 15 days or so. So if you start analyzing any new such site,  the moment you start investing  after 10 days or so, you could be faced with scam right away.
So the tip is start investing in such new sites right away as if you invest early you can recover your investment more likely than if you  invest lately in the program.

Yeah, it is really guide-full information for investment. But i think when we got lose than we realize, which things is good for us, or not. Actually, In the started with bitcoin, i did some investment in bitcoin in any site, they said to me that they will give me double bitcoin amount within month, but the day never come and i have lost my half bitcoin. I do usually start testing a new business if they are having announcement and discussion thread here in this forum. I will start testing their services with possible minimum amount.
I followed this way for selling out bitcoins into my local fiats. I stay safer till today.

If you are really looking for investments, It will be best to search for some highly reputable site and do some research about it. If you search from it, Some blog sites are blogging their experience from a certain investment sites. You can start from there I guess.

1. If any site is running for 0-10 days that doesn't mean it will keep on running for next 10 days.
2. Even if deposit/withdraws are working currently doesn't guarantee that it will be same like that for tomorrow. Due to greed of ref commision any investment site may get good number of members through referral program so this can't suggest you are investing in good company.

3. Search for information about company, most of the company that run hyip or bitcoin investment ponzi open up paid UK based company which doesn't had any background.

So as conclusion better not to invest in any of bitcoin hyip/donation/investment ponzis. Trading is ultimate way to grow bitcoin.

I had tried your first trick. That is to invest money within 0 to 10 days of opening but what actually happened to me is-
They had shown that minimum withdrawl is 0.001btc but i had more then that amount but they kept my withdrawal in pending for lifetime.
Then again another site gave me only 1/6th money and scammed me.

if we want some profit with risky investment then your tried tips are good but only first two .
i will give third tip that you should see the Maximum investment at that site . if the investment at that site is very bulk then site will get more Profit and ran for long ago . so in starting we can take risk and can make money .

You have really to make a deep research before investing in any conpany or project.
For example in ico the risk is very high because we dont have much info about the company or the team as they are new.

being a good investor means avoid the shortcuts and start yhe hard works and take responsibilties in your hands insted of blaming others or the system. its uour money so you have to protect it.take your time and reseach about companys about how they have oayed and what is ohers are talking about that company and if others are saying good then see how much they have negetive points and is it safe.

That is the basic scenario of an HYIP site. They run for atleast a week, sometimes even a month depending on how much people are currently 'investing' in their website.

The deposit will always be functional because they want your money. The withdrawal records and the number of members can easily be manipulated by the owner of the website. He can simply tell the dev to make fake transactions and generate fake users.

Lastly, at first the company will have good feedback because they are still paying. That's what HYIP sites need, a good reputation. They will keep it like that until they decide to run away. Honestly, I think a good investor invests in ICO, and do altcoin trading. They don't look for websites like this.

Tip #1 and #2 would actually not save you from any scam, because a company or site running from 0-10 days is likely to become scam sooner or later, and even if a HYIP or ponzi site gets investors their deposits and withdrawals would increase gradually, so these things wont make you safe from it, you should just do the third thing, do some research before investing anywhere.

The most easy way to spot a scammer project is when you able to make above 10% monthly, besides that anything that says you will be able to double in xxx hours your investment, and some new projects showing big deposits ammounts, be sure those are admins making fakes accounts and simulating the deposits between their accounts.

Always be censorious and do research, if they offer you higher rate of return think, think, think. It is better to be safe than feel sorry in the end.

Yeah that is a good idea you can also start lending here in our lending section but it needs to provide a collateral in order to cover the loan so if the borrower defaulted you can sell the collateral to cover the loses..
And you can make more bitcoins there if you can get more loaner and paying everyweek that is why other members there are giving loan because they know they are making a good profit..

For number 1, better to invest if the company is running over 6 months, some ponzi or hyip site turned to scam in 0-10 days after scamming their member.
About number 2, i doubt since ponzi and hyip site has lot of members and withdraws or deposits is obviously will increase rapidly just wait untill you see the site turn to scam, well the key is don't invest where you don't have any idea who are behind that site, yeah make some research before invest on something but the most important don't invest more than you can aford to lose.

There s no specific recipe but in general, you need to ask a lot of questions and stay informed. Personally, I ask questions and if the other side s not transparent or some explanations seem too good to be true, I generally pass on that offer.

To my own understanding, number 3 should be the best solution because when you make lots of research about a business or an investment company you will get to obtain lots of information from different people on their experience with that particular business or investment,from the deduction you made you can now decide what action to take.

If it's too good to be true then it's definitely a scam. If you doubt investing to it, just invest a very small amount from your portfolio like only 5%.  Don't let your emotions get over with you. Just set a maximum percent from your portfolio to invest so either scam or not, you won't lose all your bitcoin easily.

You are right that testing a service before going in with all is obviously a better idea because in this way you will also come to know if the site is a scam or not and if it is not a scam you will get your profit from what you have invested, because sometimes even the most trusted sites of the community turn scam which can hurt you badly.

in my opinion if we want make momey then wr need to take risk . since tge three waye you said in this topic are right but we need to take care about the investor of  which types are in the site as an investor like a user if the user going join daily speedly speedly then we should deposit some btc to get profit otherwise we should remain away from such types of things .

I try never to invest in hyips and always look for sites where the Admin shows his face, whether he has a genuine and active facebook, linkedin, twitter account and also if the company is solid numbers wise and has a lot of support.

The best way to be a good investor is to use your brain.
Don't believe everything you hear or read.
If you hear a rumor, check the source you got it from.
Learn from your failures.
And don't jump on every horse that comes by. Have a clear strategy and keep on following it, unless it turns out to be useless.

That is also a good suggestion. I remember also that after visiting the site before, I never came back at mark it a scam. Upon visiting, the site has no proper graphics,pictures are not polish that it looks like the owner can't hire a professional designer. Also there ae also an honest owner but I prefer a professional looking one.

Also,there are beautiful website but it turns out as scam also. They look beautiful to attract clients but after you invest and on during withdrawal, it says insufficient funds. Just be very vigilant always.

observed some hyip are running just to scam only. After weeks it
turns out to scam investors. That's why after I learned trading I never

On number 1 I don't think so,hyip's are always early bird scenarios,the earlier you get in the better,once no money is coming in on these investment program,they will stop paying people .

On number two I don't think so too,deposits and withdraws just like ICO can be manipulated..

On number three,they can provide bogus addresses and contact information..

So avoid these hyip and programs that promise 2 to 5% returns daily.

I go with the idea of taking risk in investing because "a real businessman takes risks". You're so true that there would be no gain in investment if we are doubtful in taking risk. But to be a good investor in bitcoin, we need to be keen and tough in choosing the right and legitimate companies and sites wherein we invest our money. yes that is right to use a small amount but i think it is not still a god idea, because there are so many people who always like to invest a good amount of bitcoin therefore to me always try to use a trusted exchange whiled exchanging bitcoin.

well that's indeed a problem and HYIPs are bad,by stopping to invest into these kind of sites will stop them to get scammed but the problem is how to figure out whether the website is HYIP or not because some websites even stated that they're not a HYIP site but actually running HYIP system which is definitely tricking some investors and the result they catch those investors and stole the funds,for example,a cloud mining that's now are popular and most of them are actually running with Ponzi/HYIP system

A wise investor means he/she knows what site is he/she is going to enter. Making some good research before deciding to enter the site. Avoiding any hyip sites which are full of bullshits.

You are right there will not be any escape from HYIP programs after investing with them. I had an experience of investing into a HYIP program, even they their announcing like initial capital amount was withdrawable at any time, I was not able to withdraw even in second day itself. The number of members can increase and one of the member make a Big deposit, so the scheme owner that big amount and go away in the same moment. If your client or customer don't agree for an escrow he is probably a scammer. Even if he says he can be trusted and don't need an escrow don'f go for it. Well you need to do a thorough research and investigation of the company you wanted to invest.  Make sure they have all the proper documents for the operation.  You can also check if they are running for sometime that makes them more reliable.  In online investment, you need to check the contact support.  If they just give you an email rather than the company full contact details then you must be careful and there is a possibility that it is a scam site.

A through research will do. Try visiting thr site and look for its offers.  If the commission is too high or the story is too good to be true likr how can the owner profit

You can't make sure that hashocean was fully verified and with it has clear backgrounds since they didn't show their company or the mining rigs that they have they just made a promotional video that shows their service and offer their cloud mining site. They turn to scam because of the fear of bitcoin halving and they also know that the price of bitcoin will spike up so they try to run as soon as possible so after halving they will just hold the coins that they stole from investors. I'm also a victim of hashocean but i didn't blame them because it also my fault on trusting that site and investing a lot of money and ending up getting a loss. But that will serve as a lesson for me and i will always remember that investments are always partnered with risk and with need to invest what we can really afford to lose
