Ledger is the most easiest to get a deal on.
But I would wait on the next Trezor to jump on.
Just too bad it is not available yet :(  maybe by Christmas. ;)

As fiscorcle said, Ledger wallets are perfect if your wish is to store little amounts of bitcoins.
Furthermore, they have very good quality support if you face with any problem.

If I'm willing to store little amounts ? I thought hardware wallets are meant to be for big amounts and for long term (I see that ledger have 30 years lifespan), just like Paper wallets .

I found some discount here for black friday and i think this is still available tried using coupon code on checkout https://blog.trezor.io/black-friday-deal16-c351a52be085#.hx9mtsezd

Trezor is good and trusted hardware wallet.

Ledger are small ones, usb wallets from the ones that I have seen. But I believe they have other iterations now from when they started selling them.
Sure the hardware wallets such as Trezor were meant to hold large amounts of btc but I don't think many would want to put a big amount on a usb stick that the ledger one that I was thinking of.

The new Ledger Nano S is best hardware wallet, it's different from other ledger because it has screen.Screens means like a Keepkey or trezor. You can used it in computer also no problem if the computer infected with malware. And price is very cheap about 65$.

Best wallet I tried and I recommend is KeepKey, they have a minimal and robust design, compatible with many Softwares, work on all OS - best investment ever.

Never heard of it. Can you post a link to their site?
Closest thing I have found was something from Norton antivirus.

Alright. If you didn't mention about this I would of overseen it. I do hope it is cheaper than Trezor and as versatile as Ledger nano is. Now that would be an all-in-one solution for a hardware wallet.

I am not sure about the price, but for its quality, you have to spend some of your money.

Its electrum integration will make it the best tool you will have to secure your coins even if your PC is infected.

I personally don't use hardware wallet nor I want it as I think software wallets are secure enough and I don't need portability at all.

However, here you can find interesting catalog of pretty much every significant bitcoin/altcoin wallet created up to date:

https://www.cryptocompare.com/wallets/#/overview?f0=Hardware (https://www.cryptocompare.com/wallets/#/overview?f0=Hardware)

Hardware wallets are presented there too, interesting to note that only 1 Hardware Wallet supports altcoins - KeepKey Wallet.

"Little" is a relative term. Maybe 5 bitcoins are a small amount to him.

I'd say if you're storing more than a bitcoin a hardware wallet would be a good idea. Anything less than that you could just use a paper wallet and not worry about tying up $100 (ish) on a hardware wallet.

This is what I meant.
If your wish is to store 10,000 bitcoins on a Ledger USB key, you can. But that's extremely risky.
If your budget is big enough, purchase few USB keys and divide all your coins upon those different keys.

If you mean that a Ledger USB is risky then what's the difference multiple Ledger USBs ?
It's not that you can store the same bitcoin on multiple Ledger USBs like a wallet.dat backup on regular USBs.
If the Ledger USB is lost then you can restore your bitcoins by buying another Ledger USB and write the 24 words seeds to restore the wallet.

You will get a better debate in Reddit about a review of both trezor and ledger but I think to prefer on nano ledger.

Trezor looks good and you can show it to your friends. Ledger doesn't have as nice a UI but if you can get past that, it's fine.
With Trezor, if you start putting in bad PINs, the time increases before you can try again. Trezor website claims that between the 19th and 20th try, it takes a week.
With Ledger if you try three bad PIN attempts, the devices wipes clean and you have to reseed it.
The one thing I like about Trezor over Ledger is that the PIN keypad is scrambled on the device. Also, when you reseed your Trezor your are prompted to put in your seeds not in sequential order. Enter seed three, enter seed fifteen, enter seed six, etc. That's a pretty nice security feature if you're being keylogged. Ledger simply presents the spaces and by habit, you would type them in sequentially. You could confuse a keylogger by putting the seeds in randomly.

You have somewhat of a point. But look at that one guy who was here earlier this year who buried his bitcoins that were on weather proof usb keys and is planning on digging them up in a decade or so to retrieve them. Now that is a brave thing to do relying on technology vs nature's wear like that.

I see that no one mentioned Opendime or Casewallet which is weird a little bit but now and after seeing your recommendations , I may choose one between Trezor and Legder but I will probably wait for Trezor 2 In case I will be buying it since It may contain more features, speaking about Ledger too , what are the differences between it and t "S" version except that It has Ethereum and Ethereum classic support ?

Trezor should be the primary choice
it is slightly overpriced, but its tag is there for a reason-at the moment this is the most secure and trusted hardware wallet on the market
speaking of Trezor2 ,I personally, don't think any new features would improve it drastically and it will cost more for sure,so I'd stick to the  tried and tested original version

I own a Ledger nano hw1 and I'm happy with that, even though I know that it is not not as secure as the new ledger but it does it job well.

If you can afford to buy a trezor then go with it, but if not the Ledger nano S should be the best value for a great hardware wallet.

I couldn't find much about the new wallet in YouTube and the new features , so do you have an idea how what are they ?

I still don't understand this part where everyone says that Trezor is more secure for storing big amounts while KeepKey or Ledger wallets aren't , how come ? I mean what are the different security features that makes it better to hold bigger amounts in Trezor and not in the others

In my local bitcoin store, they mention that the ledger nano is a good choice for the price, but I think I would buy the Trezor instead for myself. I would buy one when I reach a certain amount in bitcoin and transfer it from my smartphone to the Trezor ;). I think is better to buy one when you have enough to justify the price of a Trezor.

I would say go for the ledger, it offers you wide range of choice from the HW.1 the cheapest one up to the newest Ledger NanoS. Do not be worried about their life span. If you keep your 24 seed words safe you can buy a new one if it breaks down and restore all your money just like with Electrum or MultibitHD.

I have one of Ledger wallets and so far it's going well, I barely use it ,once a week or once in 2 weeks and is doing the job pretty nicely.

i think trezor is the best one to be used for storing but for me i think i cant buy that since im no totally a bitcoin stockholder, and frequently cashing out my btc if i think my earnings is been enough and just using our wallet app that available in my country since i can use it easily and cash out with ease. and for me the one who really needs trezor is those people can wait and stake their btc for much longer, and also i heard ledger nano but i don't know its trustable to put our btc on i dont ready any feedbacks from its users.

Best hardware wallet, I recommend to use trezor. Many users that give positive quoted after they use trezor. But we must put our bitcoin in some wallet or not only a wallet.

I entirely agree. I have used a Trezor for a few years now, I would not touch any other hardware wallet on the market, it's truly the greatest.

Trezor have a small display screen, and it can be useful(most useful security for securing a lot of money in my personally). The small screen can be used for the device itself, or get sync with the other device like your desktop.
Even the trezor device has got sync with the desktop wallet. It will sue you for putting the pin but in the desktop was showing the hidden keys, and this keys was appearing in your trezor device.

I am a satisfied Ledger Nano owner, lately I am looking to buy a second hardware wallet but this time I am thinking to upgrade to Nano S.
Trezor is good too but a bit expensive I don't find any reason to pay 100$ while I can spend 30$ less for Nano S.After all it is a matter of budget even hw1 which is the cheapest of all is a very good and safe solution.
