Yes, 5OZ .999 silver. It's both. LTC and BTC keys are engraved.  The public address around the periphery and the private keys under the hologram.

If these aren't going to be funded, couldn't you engrave our vanity address (like you said) and send us the coin so we can put the hologram on?

Letting holograms out into the wild is a bad idea.  Then the coins can never be resold as funded.

I don't understand that. Each coin will have a unique public engraved key on it. And instead of trusting OP with the key you would be trusting the person selling it.

If OP would let me provide my own public key and send me the hologram to put on I'll agree to never resell the coin.

I also had the thought of what if the private key was encrypted and engraved?

Sure, whatever you are comfortable with, this doesn't change the configuration of the coin to me as the seller.

However, a couple of folks have messaged me about funding some coins. This is something I'll talk to MT about, as I'm not sure doing it on a coin to coin basis is best. With that, there would have to be a coherency in which ones would be funded so people with certain SN's would have to agree they would want a funded coin as well. It gets a little dicey.

Newktown, I got you. Sorry I was updating from my phone with constant interruptions yesterday.

I would highly recommend against shipping out a coin without the hologram applied. This will hurt the value of all coins in the future. If someone cannot know for sure that an intact hologram means that the private key is behind it, the coin is no longer fungible. You should be solely responsible for the private keys.

I am so happy to see we have so many interested in this coin. Natty and I have already been in early stages of discussion on our next design you can expect we stick with the 5 oz of silver so we have the canvas to do another sick detailed design  :o

I have no issue with funding a coin in before we ship it but I do agree all holograms need to be installed by us to ensure the private keys are secure if the coins were ever to be resold. Natty and I have also discussed the idea of funding all coins from one of our unique vanity addresses and use that same address for all coins now and moving forward. They buyer would need to provide the coins they would like funded to me prior to us shipping the coin. I might suggest we do a certificate of Authenticity signed by me with a hologram indicating the coins public serial numbers and its pre funded value

Dont forget how Smoothie has done 'Buyer Funded' laser etching on any holos not funded, as a way of selling unfunded Lealana coins. (ie private key is made, noticeably different holo is applied over the top, but no funds deposited)

Agree with Coblee. Sending none stuck holos out - the same holos that would be stuck on funded coins - wouldnt be good

I think a COA for all the coins, funded or not, would be great :)

Alright so my final question is any idea how much the funded amount would be? And I didn't clearly understand if sending you an encrypted private key for my unique vanity address would be okay

I think pre-funding is a good idea, but I don't think everyone buying will agree to it being funded or want a funded coin.  Maybe you can engrave the coin or laser etch the hologram "funded" or "not funded".  Or, come up with something creative and different for this.   Maybe a "liberty" symbol/stamp of some sort somewhere on the hologram, since this is what the coin stands for if I am not mistaken.

I think any more than that, people will be turned off by the funding amount.

Given that there is no denomination on the coin, I personally feel it wouldn't be appropriate to sell them funded.  I'd also rather my coin didn't have "not funded" printed on the hologram.  The public address is listed on the coin so that the balance and history can be checked.  Not to mention a "not funded" coin could be funded in the future, and then you have a lying hologram.  I'd say if people want them sold funded, perhaps adding a "funded" mark on the coin might be appropriate, but I'd rather my not funded coin remained clean and unmarked.

Talked with MT and were amenable to loading, but will NOT engrave the value on the coin. With that being said, maybe I'm just too new to understand why a coin loaded by us is different them a self funded wallet. As for amounts, I was always thinking that .21BTC 84 LTC would be nice 🙃

I do not want any funding, and I agree with Ognasty that marking the coins as funded/unfunded is a bad idea.

I like the amounts you are considering Natty, 0.21 BTC and 84 LTC sounds great. I would probably go for the funding.

That said, a mark to show they were funded would be wise, and for the unfunded ones, no mark at all. I really don't want "Buyer Funded" on that beautiful hologram if I choose later to not have it funded (or if I choose to fund it myself).

theres the all seeing eye up above, but not above the name Eleutheria.. which is a euphemism for the personification of liberty.. also a loose association with Greek Artemis or Roman Diana which are the Goddesses of virginity.

It can mean what ever you want, that's kind of where we're going with NattyMind, let it wander. You're right on with the liberty imagery, however Artemis while personified by Eleutheria, wasn't portrayed as beauty, rather more bland. So we went with an eve / Virgin Mary figure...with dreadlocks. I think it not only came out enticing, but grounds beauty into the fabric of all things. To me, the right hand of the picture is the uncertainty of man, for every foundation of mans success and confidence there's a lurking self doubt and confusion of what he ought to be. The children are a personal effect, but generally kids at play is serenity from the adult frame of responsibility. The left hand side, to me, is grace and forgiveness. And to be blessed with such, one is presented a clear path or choice to traverse it. Conversely a path of distraction may be chosen, and one could be led stray. However the path to peace may fade into the background, it's always there and never disappears.

(1) I have not been notified of any delays in production. Within one week of receiving the coins, I will be able to establish an engraving and delivery schedule for everyone.
(2) mindtrip has set up a domain for the coins and he'll be working on a coin analyzer function.
(3) no movement on whether we're going to fund coins or not, there was a 2:1 ratio that said no.
(4) we will be creating secure vanities 1NaTTy LMiNd (currently 00 01 are just NaTTy)
(5) the COA is designed, we just have to come to a concurrence on the medium in which it will be presented.

Appreciate the price adjustment and further information.  Really excited to see this coin in person and looking forward to the COA design.

We thought with the price of BTC going wild after we launched this that if the price broke $1,000 we would drop the price since many had asked us about it. So happy holidays to all and happy new year, let's make crypto Great again  ;D

Update

We'll start of with the eh news. As BTC has dropped $230 per since the price reduction, we have to move it back to .3BTC. The way BTC was behaving that day, we wanted to lock-something in before it went straight hyperbolic. As my impeccable timing would have it, it crashed 12 hours later. I apologize for this tease.

On to the good news. The coins will be shipped to me on Friday January 20th, which means they should be coming to you guys soon! We're in the midst of finalizing our engraving plan. If we stick with the jeweler, I've been guaranteed a minimum throughput of 10 coins per week, beginning next week. However, we have been exploring an alternative source that should increase this throughput while quelling any security concerns one may have. If the jeweler is chosen, deliveries will be based on payment order. If the alternative source is used, the intent would be to ship all the coins at or about the same time.

Funding the coins: Prior to payment, please PM Mindtrip and me regarding your desire to fund the coins. There is no plan to augment the configuration of the coin for funding, however the funding amount will be reflected on the COA.

Once I physically have the coins in my possession, I'll be updating the OP with pictures, the final engraving approach, and the final payment instructions.

We're hoping to pay the engraving outta pocket, thus not needeing a deposit. We will know within the next day or two.  In this case, the entire payment will be escrowed through OGN.

Whatever folks feel comfortable with is good by me. After all, we plan on turning around the next design rather quickly, so fucking people over .3BTC at a time is not in my best interest. However, id feel more comfortable having the coins in the engraving queue or ready to ship prior to taking any payment.

I was waiting to update with more advancing news, but here is the latest: The coins are at the engraver. I was notified over the weekend as dry runs were being performed there was risk of slippage over the arc due to "tweener" font size; new headcaps have been ordered and will be used to mitigate this risk.

People such as my non-internet friends and a few others have elected to pay already. However, I will contact each person when they're ready to ship. There's no pressure to pay until then.

You can definitely use the image in the OP, the detail on the coins came out great and that one photo I took really shows it.

Really amazing detail on these coins and I am really pleased with my purchase. This is by far the biggest and heaviest coin I have ever owned. I can not wait for you guys to drop some more coins in the future. I would love to see this same design with a mirror finish if possible or maybe proof or even a reverse proof  8)

I'm arranging for the dies to be sent to mindtrip or me, so there may be an experiment down the road with different finishes (or metals :D). I consulted a professional coin designer who ultimately sourced the vectors regarding the finish. We mutually came to the conclusion that in order to promote depth and maintain detail, the antique finish was the lowest risk option.

With that said, in a few months we'll have the next design ready to share, generate a digital representation of it in a proof-like finish, and see if its something worth deploying.

Great news Lutpin. It appears as though the international orders are being serviced quickly. Unfortunately, I spoke with a USPS rep this morning and I do not have additional visibility into tracking status. A week is considered quick by their standards.
