I don't think allowing the sale of accounts is a good way to start a new digital marketplace..

Anyway good luck. Try finding more people to use your service privately first!

Well. this is the most wanted and most selling thing among digital goods. I don't think it is a bad thing. Bitcointalk forums accounts buying and selling is a not liked thing here but it is still allowed by forum rules. Admins didn't try to disallow it... it is up to users they should not buy sell illegally. and if something legal than it is fine.

This is nothing new still to the digital goods market place being launched before you.
if someone is selling a script such as casino, would you be willing to take responsibilities as to these scripts weren't being altered where codes are meant to steal?

Thank you for your reply. Could you possibly tell me the name of the Bitcoin marketplace exclusively for digital goods which launched prior to CoinMall?

That's a good question you ask. If one were to buy a script, it is on the buyer to check the script prior to releasing funds to the seller.
Should it be the case the script contains malicious code, and the buyer disputes the purchase, the buyer will have the funds refunded to him.
Additionally, uploaded files are automatically scanned for viruses and scan results are shown to the buyer upon purchase.

I hope that answers your question. Should you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Kind regards.

I would assume i would get the same response from the rest of the digital marketplace. one that i know of which i have bought one script was cointoli.com. the users from this site may also be going to yours once they learn they can register and sell their scripts on coinmall.

unless those sellers reveal their reputable selves, they may be able to find it hard to sell their item. good luck though.

I checked your market and that is a very interesting place for getting some digital goods. For exposing your site you need to promote it everywhere to get some traffic to make that place more interesting.

Interesting Website :

Pros:
--A good selection of categories.Almost everything you have there!
--Website interface is overly cool.

Cons:
--Very few currencies in localization settings.
--Less filtering of illegal stuff. Not sure if you encourage it but anyway it would be nicer if stuff was verified.

Already some good stuff being sold : https://coinmall.io/item/how-to-build-a-low-cost-extended-range-rfid-skimmer

Can you really say that you are the "First bitcoin powered marketplace for digital goods"? I thought that was OpenBazaar, or even sites like satoshibox.com, slut.io, and pastecoin.com.

One thing that's triggering my OCD is the title "CoinMall" isn't vertically centered in the header bar.

OpenBazaar is completely different. They're the first *decentralized bitcoin marketplace.Slut.io is more like a e-goods payment gateway.Pastebin.com is a note sharing site. ::)

I have a few suggestions, you should work more on a very good logo , I recommend contacting SFR10[1] as he is a very good designer and his prices are good , you should also consider adding a favicon.
Website design looks very clean and good but categories are someting to definitely expand , you should consider adding Wordpress themes and plugins etc... in Webmaster and ability to sell serial keys in "Software" too.

Gaming section in the other hand should contain "Steam gifts/keys" , "Origin keys" , "Battle.net keys" etc... In addiction to CS:GO accounts and skins and whatever you already added.
Picture on the bottom of the page (SIGN UP now and start selling) is not clickable while It definitely should be.
Finally , I think that you should let users buy without the need of registering but you should give them a warning that they won't be able to use the escrow system in that case.

Your maintenance mode seem to be bugged , I'm having a message saying "Maintenance ends 15 seconds ago" after refreshing It became 2 seconds then It went right up to 20 seconds , I kept refreshing and Its now increasing instead of doing a countdown of when the maintenance should end.

Once again our apologies for the temporary downtime. Since our launch we have been working extremely hard on improving CoinMall.
We are happy to say that our first improvement to the marketplace has come today in the form of a 0% processing fee while in beta.

We'll regularly be posting updates on new features while they roll out, so feel free to subscribe to this thread.

Its pastecoin. Notes are a form is digital good, are they not?

What about Bitcoinclassifieds.com? Or Bitify/Cryptothrift?

I'm sorry, it's 100% valid. Constructive criticism is meant to help improve the service. My recommendation can do that to the UI.

I like the fact that you was advertising on forum slots last week and If you really want to bring more traffic , you should start a signature campaign If you are willing to really invest into your project and with the referral program , people would definitely come to sell into your website.

The site looks good, and I like the transparency on sales (showing 9 sales currently, for example). Can you extend this to show the dollar amount, too? May help show that you have a great turnover.

Sale of accounts that are probably stolen are going to probably be the end of your entire site when authorities look into it.

Like selling stuff like that is nice and all but we all know they're probably hacked accounts or something along those lines.

Still, nice site though it looks nice and good luck.

I'm actually not sure how the law looks at things like this. Are you just making an assumption? There's no way to definitively prove they are "stolen." They violate the ToS of each site, sure, but you're making a leap.

Why it is good for the buyer? This should be in bold in the first post. Can people post there anything? I think it should be moderated or something like that to have a rule that illegal things are not welcomed in coinmall. I saw an ad here in forum so I looked into that and the platform looks good. What new things are planned to be added?

Hey there,

The benefits for buyers are plentiful. Since we're a pseudonymous marketplace, there is zero risk of identity theft since we don't store or ask for any personal buyer information.
In addition to that, we offer an Escrow service as well as a seller/product feedback system, helping buyers stay safe during their purchases. The variety of sellers and products from across the globe is also attractive for buyers looking to purchase specific items.

Another feature worth mentioning is that we don't have a barrier to entry. Where other marketplaces are restricted to one or a handful of countries, CoinMall is globally accessible, as is Bitcoin. Thanks to this, anyone around the globe can either buy or sell without worrying about the payment processor or platform blocking/banning them, which has been the case in the past on other platforms and payment processors.

Anyone is allowed and able to sell anything, as long as it does not violate any laws. Every product has a 'report' button so users can report items which they deem illegal or disallowed, after which a moderator will look into the product and decide what course of action is best to take. There are no costs to start selling either.

There are many new features being added in the coming period, such as the completion of localization (multi-lang, helps buyers from different countries navigate the site easily) as well as many tools which will help new and existing sellers list their products and start selling.

I hope I answered all your questions. Should you have any other questions or suggestions, feel free to post and I will do my best to try and answer them.

The thread where the domain is being sold is almost three years old so I don't see what's the problem here as OP probably bought it from the guy or It expired ,  for the sales then I doubt It's fake because the service got advertised on the forum ad slots and that bring a lot of traffic. If there is zero sales on the categories then It could be simply because the items are no longer listed.

Hi there,

The sales amount indeed show 0 sales for all listings, this is a minor bug we are working on (it has already been resolved in our dev environment). Rest assured the 15 made purchases are authentic.
The thread you're referring to was made in July 2014 whereas we launched in January 2017, it's purely coincidental someone registered the domain prior to us.

Feel free to ask any other questions or make any suggestions should you have any :)

How does the escrow system work? I sold a item on there being a test dummy, and haven't received any emails from Coinmall, and cannot instruct the buyer on how to release the escrow. I receive no notifications on the status of the item or payments received/held/released, ect.

Its been over 2hours with over 6+ confirmations since the 2hr mark I started. No emails, support was contacted as soon as I recieved notification that payment had been made and 3+ confirmations received.  Buyer states they have no control over the escrow, and have no way to release funds. I have no notification of any item sold, nor any payments been made (like Bitify/Cryptothrift) and it is now safe to ship the item/mark paid. The system is not automated, and now I guess were waiting on "Coinmall" to verify transaction and release escrow.

Constructive Feedback ******

If its not automated, 90% are NOT going to use your site. Nobody wants to wait on you or your "Employees" to verify/transact payments. Like papa said, weight is what broke the wagon down

Hi there,

Thank you for your feedback. We have replied to you via e-mail, but here's a little more information which might give more insight.

It looks like a bug popped up which didn't make it able for buyers to release funds. This has been forwarded to the developer and will be resolved promptly.
Given that CoinMall is still in its MVP stage, not every aspect of the site functions ideally yet. We are however working hard on deploying as many improvements to the site as possible.

This includes a completely automated payment processor which doesn't require any interaction from our behalf. Given the sensitive nature of such a setup (we need to make sure everything is foolproof and no funds can be hacked), we decided to stick to manually processing payments until it has been completed.

Rest assured, however, that once CoinMall is out of its MVP stage it will be automated.

Feel free to let me know should you have additional feedback or suggestions.

Kind regards,
CoinMall Support.

I just had a look at this site and it is nice. There are some good prices there. I can still see it is new due to lack of sellers but it really isn't that bad. A fair amount of sellers with all things considered. The site doesnt fit well on my tablets screen though everything is over sized. Its much to big then it should be.

Your bitcoin tip bot on reddit does not work, it gives an error when I try to withdraw to coinmall

I'm so fucking glad they are another cryptocurrency marketplace with escrow. FUCKING GREAT COINMALL

And I have to vouch for this site. I used it when it was Coinmall.io and they have to manually release escrow. Was hardly any wait and always responsive. I do +rep the site and am glad thats its been revamped.
