Title: Newbie with non-newbie question Post by: tomokaicho on April 13, 2013, 02:01:29 PM OK, I am new to these forums, but not new to bitcoin or using bitcoin.
I want to find out, step by step, how one goes about cloning bitcoin. My understanding is that you must change the header, change the ports, create a genesis block, and recompile. Is there any guide out there that explains how to do this? Help a newbie out. You can make your own currency that you can use for a game or with friends or in some organization.
