How did it go? How long have you been gambling? Have you ever stopped for a while? Do you see any future in gambling?

A friend persuaded me to bet on soccer's games. It happened when the World Cup final rounds in 2006 took place. Somehow, I obey his invitation and from there I met a lot of fellow gamblers. After the World Cup ended, I still gambled, primarily on the world's major leagues. I plunged into gambling circles for nearly four years. I quit gambling because I had a lot of loan that I nearly can't pay.  I returned to gambling when knowing bitcoin, but this time I swear I will not repeat my previous mistakes.

Future? As my own experience and from other members stories about gambling, I don't think there is a good future from this kind of activity. We should be able to find a solution to avoid unpleasant results that may occur from gambling. And we must learn from our mistakes and from other experiences.

That's a bit story from me, may usefull!

Yes! I like a lot gambling and I have won some money. I know also people betting from more years, but it's not good in some cases

I am not into gambling much but I think I started playing gambling when I was in grade school.  So it is pretty long time.  It happens when me and my friends agreed to have some card game where we toss it and which ever card landed in different side is the winner.  Mostly it consist of 3 players and involves 3 cards tossed in the air.  We put bet on it and toss the cards.  As I said the cards that landed on different side as the others wins.

My way to start gambling, is when i saw some of my friends gamble in sports, I like sports and i have a good experience especially in football.
I have been a gambler since 2013, It's really funny and Interesting.
One day, i decided to stop gambling, because I have been addicted to gambling.
And the worst thing that i lost a lot of money. but i can't do that. even if i stop 2-3 month, i will return to do the same thing.
By the way, I started this new year with a good luck in gambling.

Was followed by my introduction to bitcoin and playing poker. Played a little poker here and there. Then though about trying some live blackjack as it sounded fun. Then slowly shifted in sportsbetting.

I started with sports betting using bitcoin first. Directbet site no need to create an account to bet so just for trial I started this site and I won my first bet small amount. Later slowly started to play dice games and never tried any other games so far and I bet and play dice game occasionally. So far I made a decent profit from sports betting even though I did it for fun.

Most of the gambler anywhere begin gambling on sports betting, because sports betting is one of the simplest. One of the easiest to play than poker and others. As well as most who gamble are male and most of them are sports guy, those who know the sport, understand the competition and also follows the course of the competition so they know exactly what they are doing.

the funny thing is that i never knew about gambling or ever gambled before i started using bitcoin and come to bitcointalk. :)
the first time i saw a casino it was on bitcointalk and it was a dice site that was doing a promotional giveaway so i participated and received some free satoshi and tried the game and was hooked up on dice games ever since!

I started gambling when i was 10 years old, it is just for fun and i have never thought of any of it as a career or anything, we are just having fun, we are playing a card game. We bet our toys and if I win, i will get their toys so its mine, if i win, i will use their toys and just give it back to him tomorrow, it is really fun.

Gambling in the real world? uhm i started gambling like i was 8 years old or 9 maybe. I forgot how old am i when i started gambling. The gamble game is a toss coin we guess whether it is heads or tail. I always lose 'coz i don't know what is tail or head they always tricked me to lose. LOL. This is by far the most repetitive topic and question asked in this gambling discussion section, I mast have seen seen 4-5 similar topic in just the first 2 pages. what's the need of creating this topic again and again.

   Many years ago several sport betting houses appeared in my town, my first experience was going there with my friends from football. Minimal bet was 10 dinars, that is nothing now, but back then it was money for snacks in school. Thats how I entered in sport betting, but then and now I bet with minimal possible amount, I never spent more then 3 euros on one bet slip, once I gave 10 euros for 3 bet slips and that was my highest bet ever. I'm have control and I know I do that just for fun.

when i start gambling at beginning is from this forum because of lots promotion here,when first time is i play dice game and the site is primedice and it since 2014, yes i had stopped gambling for a while around six month because my real life business i think gambling will always have big members and will alive for future especially gambling with bitcoin, its anonymous very important thing

I started gambling when i earn from faucets and hyips those back days when i was a newbie. I think it is my only way to earn money fast. At first i earn profit from it. But because i was greedy i just lose all my earnings in the end. Now i don't gamble anymore and just focus on signature campaign. It doesn't give much but i mixed it with some trading to earn more profit.

- Not well like for everyone, losses many bitcoin in past
- No way to exactly calculate those stats
- Yes, these days i only play for fun and only with small amount

My gambling experience started with my friend sending me free 10$ worth bitcoin. Since at the time there wasn't much to do with it, I went ahead and tried it on a gambling website. Dice was my first. I believe I hit 3x on my first roll and was hooked instantly.

I still remember the beginning of my gamble when I was in junior high school. I started with horse races 15-16 years ago. I love to watch horses running. Speed, power, sprint its like magic. Then football bets. If i am not greedy when bettin to football i could be rich man :) I think it is sickness and yes we r all gambler is sick :) No matter i like it.   

i started gambling with dice, and it was in a faucet that had a section for multiplying bitcoin, and in there i faced the biggest house edge i have ever seen (5%) but i liked the idea of gambling online with bitcoin. so ever since i have been playing different games, and gamble on many of them. but mostly i have been playing Dice and sometimes some sports betting.

I too started with dice game with free money from faucet amount and slowly moved to sports betting. Apart from these two games never tried any other games in gambling. I had been a Tennis fan as well as a player myself. The way it attracts me towards itself can't be expressed in words, I love Tennis. This is the sport I always used to watch, so my interest towards gambling some money in this sports was derived by Tennis itself. I gambled $1000 on a player that I was so sure, would win the game and the result came exactly in my favor, after which I began my gambling life ahead.

Most of the time for the gambling bitcoin is preferred than fiat. At the beginning started with just 1$ in terms of USD and later on within a short time experienced a big winning. This increased the interest into gambling which lead me to place betting amount upto $300.

At first I started gambling just for fun and to test my strategy to make profit in every gambling  . But actually when I first entered in gambling then I find it is somewhat difficult to understand that how is it work ? . So there was much complication start it and Found it very bad to make profit and it is a very complicated to to make profit but still we can profit but in very very small amount with every bet . Overall in the gambling we find that we have no ways to make stop gambling because of greediness .

Hello! i would really like to share my stories to you and to the users. Well here is my story, i recently playing a year ago and started to think that gambling is one profitable thing but to my parents its really bad. When i first started playing gambling for the first time i was like excited from the game called dice and it was very easy and you can get easy money from it but you have a very good luck to win multiple times i played 5 games because it was fun and challenging and 2 wins 3 lose -_- my money was slowly vanishing :'( but i didn't stop until i got bigger amount on dice and i can't really see me in gambling  because gambling is hard when you are poor i am poor :'( but its a learning experienced to me ^_^

Well i think most people have gambled early in a way whether they are aware of it or not. Im not just talking about monetary gambling here but like making small bets as a kid whether who's going to win in a certain sport, or whether your favorite cartoon character would live or not and the likes. For me i can't really tell when these bettings started as i may be too young to remember. Though i think for monetary gambling, it started when i started watching sports events like nba or wwf. Small bets of course as a kid as im betting wih my allowance. 

I started gambling for the first time with bitcoin through online. A friend of mine here in the forum suggested a plinko site to try and play at that time I didn't have much in my wallet like 500k satoshi but I was curious to play the game so I risked it all doubling my balance. My first gambling experience when i started learning about bitcoin. When i browsed "what is bitcoin?", "how to get bitcoin?" "what is price of bitcoin?", and it ended to a gambling site (too bad it is a bad site), then i  claimed my first faucet on that site and trying to rolling.

My first experience with gambling was in first or second grade in high school when i placed my bet on sport bet. I think i was 15 yo.

But my very first gamble was when i was 10 yo or something like that, however it didn't involved money, but football cards. I don't know are you familiar with game, but it was very popular in my country - anyway, it is pvp game,  2 cards are placed on the ground with picture looking up, and you need to hit cards with hand(s). If card(s) turn around, you win that card(s).

I don't think that everyone have story of gambling but here my story of gambling quite different from other because I started my gambling just for fun only but unfortunately I lost my all deposits in the gambling only at once .
Actually I goes for bet for the highest return in a cricket match but unfortunately I didn't understand it in better way . that is low winning return for winning team and vice versa .

I started gambling only to know about that. I have spend some time in this forum and after going through some gambling sites I one day decided to check that field and then I felt it a mind resting so sometimes I g to these sites and I play for some time in these sites.

first i know gambling in bitcoin is by read in one sites about the games, i clicked the button and its jump to that sites. the first times i am doing gambling is i am getting confuse with the games, i don't know how to play the games, what is bets, how to make a bets, and the result i get loss. i don't remember how long i've been gambling, i already stopped for a while but in the other times, i continue to playing gambling. i don't see any future in gambling for me because i can not play with good.

My first way to start gambling is because of the game Defense of the Ancients, the old one. Way back when I was in 3rd year high school, I got invited b my classmates who are playing it too. And that was new to me to play with bets and since I think that I'm strong enough and I can fight against opponents with bet then that's how it started.

I went to Las Vegas some day to watch a boxing match, and i meet with some friends, of course the fight happened in one of the casinos, so it was too tempting to not try to gamble a bit and see what happens. I end up gambling and winning and i became addicted to it.

It's a really funny story actually.
More then 10 years ago I was a fan of Maccabi TLV.
They weren't in the top 5 that year but I was sure they're going to win the euroleague.
Sports betting is illegal in my country, but somehow I was able to send 40€ to the bookie.
I won and got more then 200€ to my account, but had no way to cash out the money.
So I started to bet on more matches and some casino games until I finally lost it all...

My gf asked me to go on a date in a casino because she also don't also have experience with it. So I agree and we decided to go and try our luck in slot machines.. we won a little and play a long since the excitement is there and a feeling of a little greedy LOL. We ended up losing :D but still happy on that day.

I have entered into gambling field only after my signature campaign asked me to have account with them for getting paid (not my current campaign). I would not do differently, because although it works as a way to provide fun to the users, this is probably not the best way to get rich. There are users who claim to have been rich in short periods of time with this, but the cases I've seen are rare. Moreover, such individuals have probably put large sums of money on this. Not all people could do this, because of their limited capital and the high risks in which they would be exposed.

Well it is not only about getting rich. I personally enjoy gambling just as a entertainment

I've started in online gambling dice games at first I'm always winning   almost no lose some call it beginners luck ans I keep on playing until all my earning are starting to lose I've been playing for 4 week and maybe gambling is not for me mate.

I have to tell you that I have started gambling when I was a kid. I came from a family of gamblers and back then, we do not use internet to gamble. We usually play card games which some of you might not know what type of game it is since when we talk of card games, the popular ones are blackjack and poker, back in the day, we do not play that kind.

I am not living in the US or western country so we have our own game. When you are in a family of gamblers, you will easily be influence as most of the time you see them playing, but there's a good thing that happens to me, I matured in gambling at the young age and that helps me a lot now.

My first day in gambling was in dice site too same as the others, I joined because of peer pressure and I can't resist it when I saw that money was rolling so fast... Well, it goes well and I don't have bad experience except before I quit gambling... I gamble for almost 3 years but on and off and now totally off... As I've said, I do it on and off and I think each time I return, I can't feel the thrill the same as the first that is why I ended up just quitting it...

When I first play gambling I remember my friend invited me to play gambling for the first time. He invited me because he want to get a profit from the referral system. My way to start gambling get some fund for bankroll.  Fund that I can afford to lose of course.  Then when I start playing it goes either way, sometimes I win sometimes I lost.  I think i have been doing this when i have free time for more than 10 years.  Though it is very entertaining, i cannot see a future in gambling.

Personally, I had been into gambling because my brother wants me to try some bet on betting sports, I do bet once, two and more, but I used my money which I can afford to lose and I usually bet on betting sports which I bet on team who I already analyze to have more chance win.

yes very true, you should not decide that the gamble is your principal profession. Or you could say that the gambling was not a matter that can be used as a profession. Gambling can not give a definite revenue every day. If you're in a bad luck, you could be just wasting your money. If you're in good luck, you can benefit.

Everyone want some instant profit. And gambling is the first thing that came to my head. I started gambling when i was high school. Ofcourse gamble is risky thats why i gamble only my extra money. At first i was scared of losing but its a part of gambling. But stopped gambling when i came to college. Im busy that time. But now i can do it now.

But I am not entered in my teenage, after completing my education and when I started to work that time I entered this gambling world. I've never been to a real casino but i think in order to play there you need some big amounts to play. People that plays there gambles with big amounts. And to small-time gamblers like us we don't belong in that place. For me, it is really easy to tell my story, because i only spend 2 years in gambling. Before it, i don't like to play gambling, because in that time i thought gambling is a way, where people waste their money and take a risk. But when i know about bitcoin and other crypto currencies than i started to play gambling, and i realize i was wrong, because gambling have also one way more and that is fun and if you win in it, than you get more fun.

10 years ago online casino was not as popular as right now.

only few people only can have an access to online casino so people will just prefer to go to a real casino instead have to setting up a complicated things when you have to created an online casino account , then few years after that around 2011 bitcoin casino come up and i really glad with this easy access.

well i've been playing poker and slots online way before i've been introduced to bitcoin. At first it was just those free applications that wouldn't really require you to deposit an amount before playing. then I was introduced to gambling sites that actually uses real money and would require you to deposit. I can say i've won a couple of times and earned a couple of dollars there

Lossing bitcoin for the very first time on doing gambling would really be a frustrating thing for me since I do really value my bitcoin which I do earn from hard work online. Don't motivate him to be a gambler since most gamblers do really fail and lose up money too much.Skills would be nothing if you don't have luck.

i started gamble when i was working on a cafeteria then my workmate invited me on his house because they're having a party there. and when we come to his house then they ask me if i can join them in poker. and i suddenly answer yes then i feel that im comfortable with it that's why i continue it that why i become a gambler.

I started gambling directly into sports with very minimal amount. I have placed 1$ for several odds. Further on experiencing wins without much effort but completely on luck gradually started to increase the amount and in the meantime faced lots of fail in events. With hope tried of making strategies before placing for the odds and tried to overcome the fail. It is impossible and still gambling with more losses and less wins.

I started pretty much the same way as everyone else -- I was exposed in gambling. Right in front of our school, there are people gambling. When I get home, there are people playing card games. When I go to the computer shop, someone's playing poker online. Gambling has become a normal thing to me and I looked at it as an alternative way to earn money. this time I do not like gambling again. Well, I started gaming when I was 15 years old. but, I do not try to play with the real. I just learn it in a pc game when it is on the computer that I have. Well, one might say, it is a game that is very difficult to master.

My own sojourn into the gambling world actually started from way back in high school where we gamble based on skills and you are there to determine whether you will win or lose by betting on yourself in table tennis. After that phase, I had to stop to pursue other things then found my way to crypto-world where I now gamble with currency. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lost. Still learning though.

Mostly they started gambling online and finding some people who gambled offline. Though that is great because they did not start gambling in a early age. My first gamble online did not turn really great, it is the worst. I was just buying scratch tickets in a newspaper shop, it wasn't really frowned upon at that age, even though the legal age for gambling (and buying those tickets) was officially 18.

Started to gamble when money is not a big factor as well I too was lucky. Later on things got worse when I was in need lost everything as well no backing to play further. But at times used to play with the small amounts got through faucets and signature campaign.

You are right not all people who play gambling is already considered as gambling addict since there are people who play gambling just for entertainment . Gambling addiction is really hard to get specially when it already hooked into yourself. Like me when i first play gambling i could say that i almost become addicted but luckily i controlled myself.

As far as I can remember, I started gambling thanks to freerolls on poker websites. Some new website had a really attractive freeroll tournament every day, 5 times a day and I started playing them whenever I can. It was a new site, so the traffic was bare minimum and around 100 at its best days. I won most of it when I played and then went ahead to paid tourneys and one the first one I ever played. I am old and I can tell gambling is a way to relieve our stress in life. Honestly, I lose more than I won but that fact does not make me stop in gambling. The entertainment value you are getting is worth of the amount your loses. I guess we just have to accept loses so it could not affect our finances hardly.

I have been gambling from quite a long time now, though i have not wagered a lot of money into it but of course i have been playing and lost some money as well in it. Probably because based on my experience as well I never see a dice game before that operates with fiat, bitcoin made it possible us. Before I just gamble in sports betting using fiat but that was too expensive back then and until bitcoin has boom then I tried it and now I am a satisfied gambler because of bitcoin.

Been into gamble ever since though. I like sports the most but when I got into bitcoin, I started with just pennies in yobit dice because after all, I have joined their signature campaign back then. Gambling in my life started with me learning how to play card games like poker. I learned through watching the elders play this game. On weekends, after they had their own lunch, the elders would gather on a house where they would sit around a table and play. Me and my cousin would stand there watching how they shuffle cards, arrange their cards, call their cards and etcetera. At first, I did not understand how they do it but my curiosity keeps on telling me to wait for the weekend to come and continue watching the elders play. Now, I can play with the elders and keep up to them. I like playing with the elders as it teaches me new strategies and it also made me feel like I am really good at this as I can keep up with them now  :) .

If I remeber correctly my first experience with gambling took place when I was collecting satoshis from different faucets. There was a site, Bitcoin Zebra, or something like that, where you had an opportunity to win several times more than you normally can collect. Normally they were giving 400 satoshis and if you play their multiplying game you might get up to 4k at once. The beauty of it was that you were not risiking any of your money, even the money you collected from their faucet. You were just either winning or not winning, but never losing anything.

Starting with some gambling video games which i played when i'm still in junior highschool, i learn how to play roulette, blackjack, and poker. I started gambling I think last 2 years because actually my mom does gamble in casino but occasionally then she invited me to come with her because I was old enough so I did go. i know i was completely new to gambling during that period i thought it was so easy ti make profit so i continued
withour thinking of anything i didn't have amy such goal at that time but i kept gambling until i losg everything

Dice game was also my first bitcoin gambling experience and I actually discovered it accidentally, I was looking for good faucet sites where I can collect satoshi's so I googled it and then there I found out about bitsler I did not know that its a gambling site but I tried it anyway... And the rest is history.

I started gambling when I was young because my cousins taught me how to gamble. Gambling is fun and addicting. However, I know how to control my addiction. I only gamble for fun, that is why I don't really lose a lot of money whenever I gamble.

Well, I started to learn about gambling because of my friends at school. At first, we just bet on basket ball game and then they taught me how to play cards. I learned about poker and it started as a habit and now addiction. I often play poker with my friends on the weekend to unwind and relax.

It seems we have the same experience but I think I played that game when I was younger, around 8 or 9 years old, I was in 3rd grader.  I was so nervouse that day since it was my first time playing that game.  I have some spare coins (barya) when I decided to join that game.  Sadly I lost all my coins since I really do not know the strategy to make those coins land in face.  I never played that game again after that devastating experience LOL.
