Government is very important in the country because, The purpose of Government is for protection of individual rights and to maintain laws and order within the country.  The rights of individual are right to life, right for liberty and right for the pursuit of happiness- According to Thomas Jefferson "that to secure this rights is why Government exists among men"

Yes its true. Without a government, your country will be in chaos. Everybody will do what they want because there will be no laws to obey/follow.

Government is very important but has to be as transparent as possible. I hope that block-chain will help to accomplish much more transparency in governments. As soon as possible. I think government control mechanism has to be based on blockchain. Government have to control everything without corruption, it has to answer to society.

Government is the upper "collective"  body which performs public administration in a state. The obligations and duties of government arising from the fundamental and determinant law of the state constitution, which is theoretically the constitution as it is formed and apply accordingly. Each country has its own type of higher collective administration form should be legal and suited to the requirements and needs of its people. Without government a country goes to anarchy with disastrous results for the country and its people

In which country the government isn't important? It can be on the third world country that the government doesn't have the power such as in other countries because of the corruption and because of the mafia that operates there(my opinion), why they become a poor country is because of these and they can't collect taxes and the qualified people do not get their right job so the government loses its power and become less important.

Government is very important. It has a big role that affect it's countrymen. The improvement of the country depends on the actions and decisions the Government will do. Economy, Peace and Order and the developmwnt of the country depends on the people who run the Government. If those people are selfish, corrupt and inconsiderate their contry's solidarity will be ruined and because of that possibility there will be a negative domino effect to the countrymen and other aspects that makes the nation as one.

Government must be people who know how to control a country not from blow out. By that I'm meaning that we won't treat the people like animals, will not have the authority to make more money from them, only a small amount for the basics of each country. In a few words, any government is really a government now. We don't live any more in jungle, as our ancestors.
We are living in regulated society, protected by the police and army, have health care and other social services etc.
It's impossible to have so well organized society and state without government.
Even first human civilizations, 5000-6000 years ago, had government, army and basic social services.

 

If a person lives in society he is in any case subject to violence from the state. The subordination of the minority to the majority is also violence. And if the opposite? Now we see an example of this in America.

Well without any government to run a country basically anarchy and chaos would happen. Of course there should be a system of governing to uphold law and order and with an honest government, most likely a country would prosper. The government functions mainly as the backbone of a country

Goverments are important of course to control their country men if theirs none goverment how they will run our country? Sometimes, the government is directly responsible for the chaos. Look at Germany. The government (or the dictatorship) there invited everyone from Syria and Iraq to the European Union. This resulted in almost 1.5 million from these countries suddenly immigrating to the EU. The German public is now facing the consequences, from increased crime rate.

There are few thing important in country like police, military, medical care etc. not bunch of people taxing you to have more money.

But do not forget that it is this army and the police, and other services that work and exist at the expense of the same taxes you do not like. I understand that in many cases the government charges too much from people, but taxes are a source of social benefits.

This is probably the funniest answer i have seen here :D you are basically living on your own even if you have a government or not,i will explain to you in plain language,it is a system to control the community and they only bother to enforce the policy derived and they wont bother if you are not breaking the law.Even if you are strong and have weapons if you are planning to go against the law you will be prosecuted. :P

The government is very important in a country. Good governance imposes rules to punish the wrongdoers, stability of society, peace, and order. They protect the society and citizens from the external threat. If we had no government or rather than Good governance? What might happen to our country? If there is no government to make rules, it would be difficult to manage a whole society. Everyone will have freedom and rights to express their supplication in our government.

Here in my country we cannot trust the Governments as they are busy only in filling their own pockets by involving in corrupted activities and don't care about the citizens of their country and you will see them making false promises before the election and once the elections are done they will simply disappear.

The Government is a necessity in our country because they are the ones applying the rules and regulations everywhere and without it, the country would just be in chaos, and no proper flow would occur. I think it's dated a long time there are already somewhat a governing rule through a tribe or something because they follow that person, they have entrusted themselves to the leader and the leader takes care of its members. The government is a necessity to take care of the law and order, and to protect the borders. And personally, I prefer a government which is decentralized as much as possible (like the one they have in Switzerland), and interfering as little as possible in the private lives of its citizens. And I don't have any preference for a democratic government. I am OK with monarchies and dictatorships as well.

Yeah good, responsible and honest government would actually define how a country will fare among other countries. Without governance, there will be anarchy and chaos and people won't have anywhere to look to for leadership. Rules have to be made and implemented and a good government needs to be able to do this to make their citizens live in peace and content

A good balance of government is very important. Too little government and society crumbles. Too much government and people lose their freedoms.

Exactly that's why its very important for the people to select good leaders because these leaders would determine how the country's state would be in the years to come. Power is really important for every state, but not less important is the responsibility of the government to the people for their actions. The less the responsibility of politicians, the worse people live.

Its massively important for any human society... even hunter/gatherers developed methods for governing themselves. I believe we could benefit with a decentralization of power in nation-states however as in their modern form they seem to only represent business interests. Since WW1 its been the dominant nation states exploiting the smaller ones.  This is in part what makes crypto so enticing, i feel that we have the opportunity to create our own systems to operate in through rules established in various digital currencies. Rules that cant be changed, an example could be establishing a part of fees dedicated to a fund that covers healthcare for all users. Not sure how this would work out exactly as i am not well-versed in programming but at the very least their is an opportunity to change how we govern.

The important of government in our country is to create law, order and stability in society,They also protect a society against rule by despotism. Simple as ABC, no government means no rules and laws to abide. No existing Government all kinds of crime exist. You may think how Government can be corrupt but it is also the foundation of every nations in the world. People in the government serves as public image which the people will follow they serve as your leaders.

I do not agree with that statement. I do admit that there are faults caused by the government and it is the fact that they cannot cater all of the citizen who needs services. But not all of them had not received any support or aide from government. I am working in the government and I am not in the front lines but I am part of the agencies who made plans allocated for the residents in our area. During the calamities our local government unit handed financial assistance and aides to the affected victims of locust infestation and to the people whose house were burned down. The sad truth in the government is that the allocated funds is not enough to provide all the needy in our locality.

Government is heart of any country. in absence of government we can not think about a true judgement .there will not be any right for any person to express their opinion and got judgement.in this situation everyone will want to make their slave to the backward cast people.due to which corruption will be seen every where.to handle this situation there will be a requirment of government which can to gave proper judgement to every people of country.

I agree with you. The government really need to state activity, but the quality of politicians is of great importance. Very often we witness that the government rather promotes the disintegration of the state. Look what happened to America after winning the elections Trump. There are other examples.

I think no one wants to return to the Middle Ages. There were very bad and cruel orders. At the same time there were no governments and no one elected anyone. The people were slaves. Now a good form of government with presidents and parliaments, but only on human qualities depends the result.
