Government is very important in the country because, The purpose of Government is for protection of individual rights and to maintain laws and order within the country.  The rights of individual are right to life, right for liberty and right for the pursuit of happiness- According to Thomas Jefferson "that to secure this rights is why Government exists among men"

It can be on the third world country that the government doesn't have the power such as in other countries because of the corruption and because of the mafia that operates there(my opinion), why they become a poor country is because of these and they can't collect taxes and the qualified people do not get their right job so the government loses its power and become less important.
