I am.thinking to start my own site
1) for bitcoin faucets
2) bitcoin news
but it needs much amount of money , I think it takes about $50 to start at its best .

Since i am not a earner , so I asked  for money to my brother , but he didn't understanding the bitcoin advantage .
Now here give suggestions that how to explain my brother for the bitcoin work and its advantage and making him to invest in my project of bitcoin .

if these two are the things you have in mind then it is best that yor brother didn't help you.
because
1) owning a faucet is not better than using a faucet. it is not going to make you any money, and mostly it is waste of your time
2) there are enough news sites that know how to get traffic, your news site will never come up and you will end up click-bait-posting to generate traffic and finally give up. again waste of your time.

More important than explaining bitcoin to your brother, you should explain to him how your website will earn money. As an investor, I am sure he is keen to know if your website is feasible and profitable in the long run.

Also, 50$ is a small amount. You can easily earn it if you join a signature campaign. You can do it while you are coding your website since your expenses will only come when you set up domain amd hosting. Then the profit of your site will be all yours.

To answer your question, the bitcoin is a decentralized currency unlike fiat. Fiat value decrease everytime the government print more money, and they are printing more and more. Bitcoin does not inflate because of its finite number of bitcoins. Just like gold, it will get more valuable as more people adopt bitcoin.

You'll be your own bank. You'll never pay anyone a fee other than tiny miner's fees. You'll never have to worry about any charge backs (probably not relevant to your post lol). For faucets it's the only way to go really. How else would you sent $1 across the world with a minimal fee!?

Advantages over what exactly? if you think bitcoin at current state has any significant advantage if adopted and used other than mere profit in trading better think again. you could really convince someone a decade from now when people are more open to internet in general.

What's been quoted is very small part of bitcoin's advantage. Better try to learn more through different sources and news articles. You'll explore a lot other than the faucets and related things. Then explain, you'll have a good idea that what needs to be prioritized while explaining to your brother or someone else.

1. Running bitcoin faucets is no more profitable due to high bitcoin price and low revenue from adnetwork.
2. Bitcoin news site may get some success but you need to hire writer if you don't have writing skills because you can't just copy/paste news/article from other media outlet.
3. $50 will be only enough to buy domain and hosting, there will be lot more running cost in future.

Better you start bitcoin news site not faucet. To ask money from brother, show him how much coindesk, cointelegraph is making with ads (however you mayn't earn that much  ;D).

It would not be easy to explain to your brother since the information is written in the internet, you should tell to your brother what is your aim in making a site. If you are doing it for a possible profit in return, tell him about it, if he is a computer and internet literate, it would be easy for him to understand, and who knows, you might convince him to work with you.

if you want to make faucets, maybe you could try to offer the service to make altcoins faucets for a fair price

there are lots of ICO coins around, I guess there is some demand for such service, but I'm not sure what would be the competition

you trying to explain about what is bitcoin, how good bitcoin for investment, how we can have bitcoin for free, what will the future for bitcoin,  and else. since you know bitcoin than your brother, i think you can explain with good and i think after your brother know about bitcoin, he will understand and he want to make invest in your project. its good to start with $50, you need to maintain your sites and gives unique bitcoin news than other sites so good luck OP, get your success with your sites.

I think you do not need to explain Bitcoin to your brother in order for him to finance your project, instead you should explain your plan of generating profit thru site ads. That will make your brother get interested since I am sure, you target in creating faucet is to get a good traffic and apply it to some ads paying company. 

create their own faucet sites will not give money to you, you just get money from the ads on the site, maybe you don't benefit from creating a site faucet.

I think you are mixing two things together, Bitcoin related business (Faucet) and Bitcoin economics. I would advise you not to go into faucet business, the economics is not strong again and one bots can attack your business and take all your BTC. Another thing is that $50 is not enough to run a successful online Bitcoin news outlet

I would suggest to let  your brother join the forum for him to see the success of other people who has bitcoin related sites.
And if I were you, if he don't really like your idea then ask for money to your mom or to your dad. When you started and have result already then show this to your brother that time he might join you.

Well, I happened also was planning this. Creating a site like this with its own domain. Actually, I have purchased domain but are still confused as to what would be made. During this time I still use a free domain name and when I use my own domain I think it would be great.

you are asking for money (from someone else, your brother or anyone) which means you should talk to them about how your business (website) can be success (which if you as me it can not be). if you can convince them that your website is profitable then you can hope for them to give you money!

Altcoins faucets may not be profitable. A better option is to make a bitcoin faucet and give satoshis per claim. This will make the faucet site popular in no time. You can place google Ads on your site to earn from advertisements.

Starting a bitcoin related website is a great idea! It is a fast growing topic and will gather more and more interest as bitcoin becomes more mainstream in the future. But, as with all websites/blogs, there is no such thing as easy money and it will require a lot of time and dedication.
A general blog will fail. Find a sub topic and become an expert on it. If you are truly dedicated and interested in going ahead with this then it shouldn't be too hard to hit your bro up for 50 bucks:

First spend a few days on a free website thing like wordpress.com and work on your blog. This will give you an indication of whether you are on the right track or not. Besides, you could continue on wpress for free!

Once it looks good talk to your brother and give him a background of bitcoin: its vision, its current value from humble beginnings etc.Then talk about blogging and how interested you are in doing this. Do not talk about Quick profits. Outline your blog, and what your focus will be. Show him some adwords results for keywords you will be using. Talk about potential affilliates and add revenues etc. Show him your wp blog and explain that you would like your own domain and need 50 bucks to follow your dreams.

i think you should not have to rely on your brother and you have to earn it from your own to start it and if you start earning and he will see your income he will gave you that money to start your own money because he developed its trust on you......

Well, so much to gain bitcoin. if you want to explain it, you just need to say that to start a business with bitcoin, you do not need capital, most importantly, you're at it well. besides, if you want fast, you just need a little money, and you can turn that into a lot of money if you are already proficient in bitcoin trading.

using Google AdSense for a faucet is against their terms of services and if they find out they will ban you so fast. they don't even accept your site if it is a faucet. the only place that got away with it for a long time was the freebitco.in and they were caught eventually and google blocked their account.
other ad networks are not so good either, which makes faucets a very low earning potential site to invest your money and time in.

Your suggestion seems very good, but if you want to tell about bitcoin should need patience to guide him to trade bitcoin, or there is a free site especially developed for believing that bitcoin is very profitable.

Instead of creating a faucet that gives away satoshis per captcha it is much better to create an exchange site. If you establish an exchange site you will really earn from fees that the traders make. Even small exchangers earn big amount of bitcoin daily and all you need is the technology and the website and also best promotion materials to encourage users to use your site.

I don't think faucet is such a nice investment. Anyway to explain your brother about Bitcoins, firstly show him a chart of how it was 10 cents per coin to now 900+. Explain him about the decentralised features. Also show him the security features, and Bitcoin is more secured. I would suggest you to think something else instead of a facuets side. It's already crowded, think something else. Also invite your brother here to understand about Bitcoins better.

Honestly, I think that faucets are a method to keep people away from bitcoin.
The amount of money that can be earned sometimes does not even cover the costs for electricity.
Most people then role their eyes and say something like: 'and that's what bitcoin are good for? No thanks...'
To introduce bitcoin, you have to point out the real advantages.
I think those are mainly the anonymity and the possibility of a big increase in price.

If you can not come up with $50 on your own, then you should probable not run a faucet site. And also i can not see how you want to compete as a news site with your english. If you can not figure out the advantages of Bitcoin for yourself, then both ideas are not what i would recommend.

starting a real business is not as easy as you may think and it certainly would need a lot more than $50 that OP doesn't even have yet.
and when you want to start a business that already exists, such as an exchange service then things become even harder because of the competition, anyone who is trading anything already is using an exchange that they trust. in other words they won't switch over to a new service without trust.

To my opinion the greatest advantage is independency. If you can earn suficient amount of Bitcoins you can be fuly independent from banks and their products. You can also explain how Bitcoin is easy to use and that is available to its users everywhere where they have internet access.
But there are many sites like you are planing to open, so good luck with that.

Bitcoin has many advantages, but you have to be familiar about it before explaining about it to your brother. Why don't you create a blog,write a content about bitcoin and start marketing on free services like facebook and twitter. Building an exchange site would really cost you much money and its not cheap as i know and you are right competition is high since there are lots of exchanges do exist today which means your exchanger its either would be used or not because people will surely go to the most reputable ones.

You do not have to explain bitcoin as an alien to your brother. You only tell him that you are starting a website and for that you need some money to buy a domain and to buy a hosting server online. So he will pay you that money and then you can convert them to bitcoin and when he want to inquire the way you are going then tell him that it is online currency and for buying domain and hosting etc you have to convert these money to bitcoin currency.

I don't think you need to explain anything to him in the first place because if I understand you correctly you are only trying to explain to him because you need a loan and if that's correct then there are several ways in getting a loan which you wouldn't have to explain Bitcoin advantage to the loaner. Secondly if all you need is 50$ then that isn't much money to get so why don't you get a temporal job for that amount before you start your faucet?

Just let him know you'd repay him after you earn a hundred, just promise him 100%. with $50 you can already buy a cheap hosting along with a domain of your choice. I'm just not sure how you could earn much with it unless you have some money to promote it as well. Why not try earning from the forum and also promote your site here and social media site groups related to bitcoin. Your real audience target are in the facebook groups because that's where they are.

Bitcoin is such website which take only few time and regarding this it give currencies. initially we have to spent our time in free for few days.

I see only one way for your case. If you tried to explain bitcoin to your brother and he didn't get it, must be he is just not interested at all or you used some hard and professional way for explaining bitcoin.
My advice - ask him for this 50$ and promise him to bring him back 100$ in some time. That's it.

for number 1, I think it is right. for number 2 , I think it does not matter, really. if the articles are good, then he can get many visitors, or probably he can write bitcoin articles for an owner of a site or platform, then he will get bitcoin, it will not cost money.

to explain bitcoin advantages to your brother, you better google it because I do not know what advantages exactly you mean. just think about your brother background, then explain to him what advantage of bitcoin he can understand because there are many advantages of bitcoin, in economy, math, technology, etc.

If your brother know about online work and about web administration then it will not be hard for you to explain about bitcoin to him. If he want to earn some online money then tell him about the ways of how to earn money with bitcoin. You can also explain it to him without any hard work if you bring him to this forum and tell him that he can get all the info about bitcoin and about its benefits.

I can tell you many advantages.
One of them are that they are easy to use.
You can make online payment from them very easily.
Like I keep buying / gifting stuff on Steam.

You can start for example a faucet with just a $1 deposit in your faucet account, and if you want a news blog it's even more simple: you start with nothing as you can get a free Blogger or Wordpress domain, and as soon as you get enough monthly visitors you can move to a ".com" domain that will be yours only. Search for Faucet scripts, there are plenty of them and completely free.

I suggest you to not continue you plan to make a faucet. It's not that profitable anymore unless you want to take a risk of having it run for long term so that it can established a good name in the bitcoin faucet world. You will just need a decent capital here.

I think the faucet now less attractive dude, plus now most players faucet using fraudulent means such as using bots, I have several times had a faucet sites but always do not benefit because of too many bots that roam.
For news sites I think it could be a good option, but we know it's a lot of interesting news sites like. Essentially you have to make your site as attractive as possible by presenting writers who already know about bitcoin. And it is not cheap I guess.

Bitcoin has many advantages you can show them to your brother, how many countries have involved in it and it's price variation.
But coming to faucets you will make little amount of money on advertising, so better plan different sectors gambling site. With that you will make more bitcoin, in this you can explain to your brother about the bitcoin.

The point I see that, at first you must explain your brother why your site is a good place to invest; that is, why you believe that he will have a profit in the future. Actually if you have a good skill on SEO you can do it with zero capital
Starting a crypto realted site from zero is indeed not easy to monetized
But if you insist to ask for starting capital to your family and how to introduce it
Just simply ask them to try have bitcoin , spend it and then you can explain properly.

You are right before we try to explain about bitcoin to someone or to your brother you should really make it sure that you are knowledgeable enough so that you wont really have a hard time to explain it to him precisely.In this case you should try to convince him about bitcoin by the way of letting him see on how to use it.

Your plan is not a good idea, Sorry for disappointing you, because its not profitable actually. And faucets is not profitable though it will give you small earnings but a waste of time for me. I think better for you to think some other options in earning bitcoin, you can try blogging, or create coins in crypto world etc. something like that.

Thats truly a good suggestion, at the same we need to know about the person whether he is knowledgeable or not. In such case only highly knowledgeable people can involve into creation of coins for a better profit. But with faucets anyone can earn easily without much difficulty and skills, lot time is required to be spend.

Well creating a coins really requires a skills and knowledge from it. Also i could recommend faucets for newbie but just to learn what really bitcoin is and how hard to earn it well after that if he/she stays to find another method to earn more then that is the time to reward the method the he/she could earn more if he/she is not lazy.

If we just tell, certainly it would be hard to believe. the best way is we give someone 1 btc, then we say the start purchasing $900, it turns out that after the price reach $1.000, we ask him to trade him to the exchanger, once there is a profit, then we give the profit it for her, I'm sure he's going to think for themselves about the bitcoin.

Good idea, but who will give 1 bitcoin to someone just to believe bitcoin. If I am in that situation I will let someone see how I trade then it the price goes up 50$ above I will simply show it to him. i think it depend on the nature of the person to whom you are going to explain bitcoin. if the person is a business man and having good interest in trading then you can explain to him the advantages of bitcoin , but if a person is interested in gambling then you can talk to him about bitcoin in term of bitcoin , and if a person is interested in investment then there is nothing good to invest in bitcoin you can explain to him using the previous example of bitcoin.

Why would your brother give you his money if he (and even you) know that you are not earning anything? I think before explaining him or others about bitcoin, you should prove yourself with your skills and knowledge. You don't need money to get started, just use your time and other resources then you will be in a position to raise capital of your own for your business. Example: you can start with referring others to good paying faucets etc.

I think you can invite him to invest in your site, if your site will surely get profit your brother willing to invest in your project but if it's not, you cant get him as investors, even if you explain the bitcoin well. If my brother too will borrow or ask me as his investor I will not lend or invest some money for him, not because he didn't explain bitcoin well, because of i didn't see that his project is not surely profitable.

It is hard to explain to people what is bitcoin, what are its advantages and what is the technology behind it or how the transactions is done. Explaining the basics in bitcoin is also hard to reach the audience brain. But if we talk about profit then the topic will become more interesting. People are now mechanistic and very profit-oriented and so by telling them about bitcoin being profitable then you dont need to do some research just to explain bitcoin and its advantages. To the common masses profit means good topic and a good advantage.

It is hard for a person  who doesn't have an idea with bitcoin at all then one day you'll introduce it to him and tell that it is a good investment that he/she should try it. Of course he will refuse to, let him start first by telling him to read articles about bitcoin, show the market flow for the last 2 years and let him in here in forum.

If that guy live in my country, I can ensure with you that he will never listen to what you say because the media and newspaper have claimed that Bitcoin is the illegal thing and they are trying to prevent the citizen from investing money in Bitcoin. Before teaching your brother what bitcoin is, Why don't you learn first what is bitcoin and its surrounding factors? You can't teach something that you don't know well enough .

1). Faucets are just a waste of time and money, They are not profitable anymore and in fact their rates are getting lower and lower
2). Know that you have many competitor and they some are highly reputable. The hosting will not cost much but you need to hire writters as your grammar is not suitable for writing articles .

Why don't you just start earning and learning here to save money for a decent bitcoin related business?

It's wrong to have such approach.
Bitcoin is much more than good investment or possibility to earn good money.
It's revolution, way of life, new way of payment etc.
I will first try to explain ''idea'' behind bitcoin, and that bitcoin is decentralized, without government control, modern tehnology, security etc.

A faucet is probably not profitable for someone who claims from it but it can be profitable for the owner if it gets a huge number of users everyday and if he gets some clicks on the advertisement he can put on his faucet. And it totally depends on the quality of the faucet if it can get users everyday or not because typical faucets does not get much traffic, so he would probably have to make one with a very new concept.

if the person is concern about his identity online and you think his showing some signs that he wants to transact online anonymous then its easy to tell him that bitcoin will do that for him but if the person do not know mid level internet of things you have to explain him the basic about why bitcoin is created and how is it functioning in the internet.

When you explain well how to get discounts on Amazon when you want to buy stuff usually most of the people I told about BTC get the point. If people understand that there can be value behind it (forget about the price) because btc is useful then most of them get it. Especially women (tell them to buy shoes with a 15% discount on Amazon... They go crazy)

Since more merchant online are accepting bitcoin and new business are releasing in the internet i hope that more website are accepting it or hoping that bitcoin will be accepting in big company like amazon that can push more price of bitcoin if it will happen..

Well, Bitcoin has its own advantages just as fiat has, but much more compared to it. You can argue frankly with your brother that it's price is liquid and so, what you have today may be much higher in value the next day. Bitcoin is pseudonymous which means all transactions can be seen but nobody knows which wallet belongs to whom. It is protected in two ways from the inflation (fiat can't be protected from it by its nature): limited amount of btc and halvings every 4 years. Amazon is not the online site number one. I am woman and I have heard about this 10% discount on Amazon if you are buying with bitcoin directly. But on that site where I always buy Aliexpress the prices are even lower than Amazon with 15% discount.

It's hard to convince people if we will tell them that bitcoin is investment, they might think it is a scam. The real advantage of bitcoin should be explain and that real advantage is not investment, it is a currency where we can use to transact online to ease everything.

The advantage is we can do it anonymously and fast, also, the transaction fee is very cheap. I guess what I mentioned is more vital from them to get.

In my country, there are many things against Bitcoin like the media and newspaper. Because of this fact, the people are aware of using Bitcoin since their mindset has been changed and replaced by the government. I had many evidence and surprisingly, she still did not want to believe in what I say

Explaining is not enough to convince your mother, brother or others. If they see it has a dark side they wouldn't accept your explanation.  Specially if the government banned bitcoin they wouldn't accept your explanations, even if many people earned here too much. They always see the bad side, not the good side.

I would say that it would be hard to convince everyone about bitcoin due to these facts but there is a chance if we can provide needed services that are legitimate and operates purely out of bitcoins.

I will explain it in very simple way.

I think for someone to get persuaded to letting his brother borrow some money for his bitcoin website, it would take more than saying: "No government control, decentralized, fast and secured." That's literally 7 words and I have never persuaded to do anything by just using 7 words specially if I am not familiar with the investment. You need to explain it to him in a deeper sense so he would know that his investment would probably grow but there's no assurance to that at all.

No third party can intercept transaction of bitcoin.And transactions are very easy and smooth.Also bitcoin has tax free features which can save a lot of your money.Bitcoin is untraceable that's mean unless user publish his address none can track his/her transaction.And without physical access to user's computer no one can steal bitcoin.

I cannot say that bitcoin faucets can be one of the advantage of bitcoin. For me its just an amusement and like what other said here it will gonna waste your time. True that. In 75% of time i wanted to talk with people about Bitcoin and asked them: "do you know Bitcoin?" They reply: "Oh yes it's the currency of the dark web" or "Yeah, it's used by thieves !". And then talking about how banks, insurance,ect are investing to study about it, they think i am exaggerating. But taking another side and explaining what can be done with the blockchain firstly and how it works, then people start to think a little differently
