I suggest you to not continue you plan to make a faucet. It's not that profitable anymore unless you want to take a risk of having it run for long term so that it can established a good name in the bitcoin faucet world. You will just need a decent capital here.

If you want your brother be part of your plan, better explained to him instead the profits you will get just by holding bitcoin. It's way more better than creating a faucet. And while holding bitcoin, take time to learn what bitcoin trading is. Start from the basic and never jumped studies. Im assuring you it's worth a shot although it will takes time.

Faucets net you money via ad revenue, but you have to be sure that your wallet is actually going to make money. Bots and so can easy screw you out of money that you could be making, luckily that isn't common for the most part.

Bitcoin news is definitely an ok market, you just have to make sure you actually have a viewbase that clicks your ads. Much lower risk than a faucet, which is already low.

I think the faucet now less attractive dude, plus now most players faucet using fraudulent means such as using bots, I have several times had a faucet sites but always do not benefit because of too many bots that roam.
For news sites I think it could be a good option, but we know it's a lot of interesting news sites like. Essentially you have to make your site as attractive as possible by presenting writers who already know about bitcoin. And it is not cheap I guess.
For your brother I think he should first understand the advantages and disadvantages of investment in bitcoin, so that if one thing we do not want the case then he will understand. Thank you

Starting a crypto realted site from zero is indeed not easy to monetized

Thats truly a good suggestion, at the same we need to know about the person whether he is knowledgeable or not. In such case only highly knowledgeable people can involve into creation of coins for a better profit. But with faucets anyone can earn easily without much difficulty and skills, lot time is required to be spend.

Well creating a coins really requires a skills and knowledge from it. Also i could recommend faucets for newbie but just to learn what really bitcoin is and how hard to earn it well after that if he/she stays to find another method to earn more then that is the time to reward the method the he/she could earn more if he/she is not lazy.
