Title: PascalCoin miners: what are your mining speeds? Post by: BChydro on February 05, 2017, 03:08:04 AM Hey guys,
I run www.mycryptobuddy.com - a site which displays which coins are most profitable to mine for a given GPU (or for a custom setup). I'm in the process of adding PascalCoin to the list of coins, but I need some more information about the mining speed and power consumption for different cards. If you've tried mining PascalCoin, could you please share the following? A) Video card (rx 470, r9 7950 etc) and brand B) PascalCoin mining speed C) Power consumption, if available Thanks! Title: Re: PascalCoin miners: come share your mining speeds! Post by: WhyMe on February 05, 2017, 03:10:23 AM So you don't know how write correctly your proper url site ?

Apparently not, thanks for catching that :p Works nowTitle: Re: PascalCoin miners: what are your mining speeds? Post by: BChydro on February 05, 2017, 06:42:44 PM I know some of you guys have got that sweet info ;)

A) Sapphire Nitro OC AMD RX470 (Core/Mem 1100/300) only core clock will effect the hashrate B) 600MH/s C) 100W from the Wall Hey guys, I run www.mycryptobuddy.com - a site which displays which coins are most profitable to mine for a given GPU (or for a custom setup). Title: Re: PascalCoin miners: what are your mining speeds? Post by: PovertyByte on February 06, 2017, 06:27:56 AM From the NiceHash Excavator miner thread, with version 1.0.0a
GTX 1070 FTW 134mhz OC (234'ish over reference) 500mhz OC memory 50% TDP, 904 MH/s 79% TDP (maximum draw), 1016 MH/s I have not played around with memory and core clocks to know what this coin prefers I am just using my ZEC setting. I seem to run into the problem where the miner or driver locks the card to 731mv and 1607 clock speeds (35% TDP) if I change my settings too much forcing me to restart my PC. I had this problem with ZEC before too Expanding on my quote, memory and core clock both increase the mining speed, and I could get more hashes by upping the memory OC 200mhz more. I can also report that this script heats up my 1070 much more than it should be. Down the line there may be an improved NVidia miner for Pascal that should fix whatever is causing the excess heat and it may up the hash rate some more Title: Re: PascalCoin miners: what are your mining speeds? Post by: DrX on February 06, 2017, 06:44:54 AM Could you add 290(x) and 390(x) cards on the list?
And maybe dual mining option? with changeable dcri? Title: Re: PascalCoin miners: what are your mining speeds? Post by: yoshcat on February 06, 2017, 01:18:21 PM rig 4x380X (3xPC+1xXFX) - 2200 MH/s , 810W (entire rig) from the Wall (mod bios)
HD 6990 (Saph.) - 650 MH/s, Power consumption - did not measure, lazy :) HD 7950 (MSI,GA) - by 525 MH/s, Power consumption - did not measure, lazy :) HD 7970\280X (Saph.) - 555 MH/s, Power consumption - did not measure, lazy :) Title: Re: PascalCoin miners: what are your mining speeds? Post by: BChydro on February 06, 2017, 09:35:22 PM Hi, I would like to share my information Whoa, 100W?? That sounds crazy low. I thought Pascal consumes more power than ZEC or ETH, and those draw ~140-150W on the 470. Any crazy bios mod or undervolt?A) Sapphire Nitro OC AMD RX470 (Core/Mem 1100/300) only core clock will effect the hashrate B) 600MH/s C) 100W from the Wall Hey guys, I run www.mycryptobuddy.com - a site which displays which coins are most profitable to mine for a given GPU (or for a custom setup). Title: Re: PascalCoin miners: what are your mining speeds? Post by: nu1mlock on February 06, 2017, 10:18:58 PM I get the following speeds using the version that Nanopool links to (says sgminer 5.5-nicehash-1 when starting it):
Sapphire Nitro RX 470 8GB with some modded bios (can't remember which): 662 MH/s Asus GTX 1080 (factory overclocked with core at 1886MHz): 1152 MH/s I have no tools to measure watts but I don't really care since I pay a flat rate on my electricity. However, MSI Afterburner reports a max of 124W on the RX 470. I don't know how accurate that is. Title: Re: PascalCoin miners: what are your mining speeds? Flashing VBios require for Memory strap to change memory timing at higher memory clock to increase ethash rate with the same power usage. Title: Re: PascalCoin miners: what are your mining speeds?
