How much is 50k bitcoins. Like $50m?

First of all I will donate 5000 Bitcoins to different charity..
Then for 45000 Bitcoin I will make a plan what to down NCS and what to save around 20000btc I will spend in buying all the expensive stuff...

According to some converters, 50000 bitcoin right now is equivalent to $55,555,556 USD.
That is... such a huge amount of money, I can't even think what I would do with it.
Maybe I would(if possible) donate some of that amount, then probably buy a lot of PC games. Then I would save the rest.

If we take into account how many bitcoins were declared in the table of contents of the topic, even at the current price for bitcoin, this amount will turn the user into a millionaire, and the life of his and his family will become carefree unambiguously.

For 50,000 btc you can triple your whole life. You do not even need to translate all bitcoins into real money. The part still needs to be left for the future. But it is necessary to buy a house, and everything else at will. Of course, you need to invest in business, too, but the question is more serious. You need to choose what is profitable or what you know. But 50k btc is very big money.

What if I got 50,000 bitcoins? I think the first things ii do the half which is 25,000 I convert to money and those money I buy house and sports car and the other is for the savings for my bank. I'd do all the normal things a greedy man would do for himself like buy a house, car, vacation then eventually I would get bored with my life so I'll try doing some exciting/dangerous things like skydiving and going to space.

Eventually I'll get bored of those too so I'll start my plans to takeover the world by entering into politics. I was just going to say I'd quit work and live life to the fullest.

I'd probably sell everything I own, donate it to the poor and start wandering the world aimlessly or join a monastery. Normally I'm not a superstitious or religious person, but winning $100 million and then losing them like this would be a clear sign to me that I'm not meant to be rich - that something/someone up there doesn't want me to succeed.

Wow, its hard to imagine such a sum but if that happened this is what I would do.

First, diversify some of the bitcoins into preferreds, REITs and undervalued dividend paying micro cap equities to obtain some income.

Second, assemble a list of charities including Red Cross, ASPCA for rescue of abused animals and my local ballet society and make sure I set up yearly donations.

Third, allocate some money to my parents since they deserve the windfall after years of looking after me.

Fourth, find a sugar baby or two and find ways to celebrate the good luck and maybe help her finance a small business if she is business minded.

Oh man. With only 50 000 Bitcoin, I guess I will only be buying 10 Pizzas for my friend and myself. 50 000 Bitcoin is just enough.

I would commence divesting myself of the majority (99%) of them immediately (probably drip-selling through exchanges) and into other investments (eg. real estate, PMs)
It's a scary world out there and I wouldn't be surprised if people with the right capabilities (eg. three-letter agencies, world-controlling bankers) targeted those sort of funds.

After I got over my disbelief, it would still take me a while to change my mindset and outlook on life! I would definitely make sure that my entire family benefited from my windfall and we were all able to enjoy life without financial worries.

50,000 BTC is quite a lot... I'd assume that someone is monitoring that account.

The first thing I would do is generate a new wallet, memorize the private key and delete the keys everywhere else.

The next step would be to transfer the coinage to the new wallet securely. This mean several layers different tunnelling protocols (VPN, Proxies, Tor, I2P, etc...). I mean, we're dealing with over $200MM USD here... if someone's watching it, they're gonna be able to track down an IP pretty damned quickly.


After finally dumping the coins into a mind wallet, I'd route a few hundred coins through a dozen different accounts, addresses, effectively laundering some spending money. I'd probably sell off 10 BTC to pay off all my debt (student loans, house payments) and purchase a new vehicle. I'd probably keep my day job just to keep the IRS happy with my tax income for a while.

I'd dedicate a bit more cash to my FALGSC project, offering bounties for building / engineering automated solutions for different industries. It'd be nice to see a cheap and effective farming solution that's fully automatic (from seed to harvest). I'd invest more into scaling that into something that could support a small community of people.

I'd probably make a few other bounties for random projects that I had planned which are more private and more capitalist based. Ideally, I would generate an income from those.

In the end, I'd probably end up spending less than 1k of that 50k BTC and still be generating quite a profitable income. The other 49k BTC would be sitting in my mind wallet and would probably be stolen away by someone randomly generating wallets =P

if i get that much of bit coins first i have to transfer into my account. next denoting some amount of money into or funds. next planning to start big business through world. and planing how to buy some more bit coins.

I would buy myself an island somewhere in the Caribbeans, build a nice quiet retreat for me, my family and my friends. Then I would invest half of what remains and the other half I would donate to privately funded scientific research centers and charities.

ohh, 50k bitcoins, wow.  I would definitely hold on to most.  Sell some here and there as I may need them, but most I'd keep saved, or hand out to my family or others that were in need.

I'd set myself up, and my family and friends, and once I knew we were good for the rest of our lives, I'd give the rest out to deservable people.
