Post by: TheBitcoinBoy on February 25, 2017, 09:20:55 PM
What possibly could be the best way to get Cash in hand for your Bitcoins? Maybe in one country or to another.
Keep the safety and speed of the transaction in the mind.

You can sell in this forum by opening the sale thread or else you can go to localbitcoins a bitcoin local selling exchange where you will find lot of users who are dealing in cash in hand just you have to contact your country users and deal with them, but just be careful of taking some precautionary steps before dealing in cash in hand and do trading.

Now trading and exchange service providers were also experiencing same delay in transaction confirmation. The same is due to the high number of users trying to convert bitcoin to cash as the price is found to be at the ATH. Hope the congested sale orders will soon be made under control for better service availability.

Delay in transaction confirmation is actually a problem. You may be able to do this faster if you exchange Bitcoin for Litecoin, since theoretically the currency must present confirmation four times faster. Then you exchange it for fiat currency.

This depends on how you define "best way". If you want to be anonymous then i would trade face to face rather than on an exchange. Exchanges seem to be safer on the other hand as you are not forced to meet someone you might not know with unknown intentions.

have a debit card ready, deposit coins, withdraw from an atm. and as long as you choose a reputable card provider you don't have to interact with anyone else.

Am I misunderstanding? But, you asked for the best way to convert bitcoin into cash, right?
Depends on where do you live? I believe in every country may have different way. the first time I convert my bitcoin through local exchange, you can find them in your local section or search in google/facebook. I live in Asia and there is an African exchange called bitx or Luno (now), where I can buy or sell bitcoin to get cash.

That depends on your personal circumstances, how much you're exchanging and maybe where you live as well.

If you're looking for convenience in an urban area, a Bitcoin ATM (https://coinatmradar.com/) might be a good idea, although the fees could be a bit high.  You could also try an online exchange such as Bitstamp (https://www.bitstamp.net/) or BTC-e (https://btc-e.com/) if you're looking to do it at home, but if you want cash in hand literally then that won't be the choice for you.

If you're looking for anonymity, the best way is probably to go on a P2P exchange where you can meet in person - the biggest of which is Local Bitcoins (https://localbitcoins.com/), and you could do a cash transfer in person.  Do not use these exchanges to exchange Bitcoin online, especially not with Paypal, as chargebacks can occur.  Also make sure to meet in a public place with a trusted buyer.

In-person exchanges might be best if you're selling a lot as it'll stop fees from third parties.  Although to be fair the fees with online exchanges aren't necessarily a lot, but it'll be as a percentage so if you're selling a large amount it could be annoying.

If I remember right, coinbase used to offer a bitcoin to bank, wire transfer service.

You could transfer your bitcoins to coinbase and cashout $$$ to a bank account.

Does no one use it anymore?

Maybe I'm not remembering correctly, I haven't actually been on coinbase in something like 3 years.

But coinbase have some limitation of using only in certain country as they are not allowing some country users to use coinbase for trading , they can just use it for web wallet like i am from india using coinbase as web wallet and we cannot trade in coinbase.

I think exchange bitcoin for cash in hand is better with trusted sellers. you can ask about them in your local sections here. then you can meet him and exchange your bitcoins. I wonder why would you exchange your bitcoins for bitcoin?

Get your bitcoin debit card and use bitcoin atm to withdraw your money or you can use it everywhere and anytime with the visa or mastercard support. You can withdraw it on the normal atm ( the fees is actually high)
With the enough safety and the fast speed. But you must pay more for the fees.

Sell on Localbitcoins for cash, or for a cash deposit to your bank account. Then you can have cash in your hand as soon as the dust settles. Personally I use Paypal, and have never had a chargeback, and since I have the paypal debit card I'm able to get cash minutes later.

If you are pointing on converting bitcoin to money you may think that it's hard because in some transaction there are some difficuilties. But i would like to share an application here in my country called coin.ph , ih this app you can pay bills, buy load or even convert bitcoib to money. In buying loads you may cash out the money in buying loads for others just like in paying paying bills to other. That's the fastest way to take out the money out of bitcoin. And if you used coin.ph there's a 5% in every load you buy . So you are earning while you having money.

I think now we should refrain from creating new transactions. Please wait until all transactions are confirmed and we can trade normally. Now, I think, even if you pay high fees for transactions, they also can not be processed, because the number is too large, and they are trapped

It will be just a website wallet that could help with trading it to cash. First, make sure that the certain website wallet is connected to a bank in your country. They will provide account number and pin for you to withdraw it easily. This is only the easiest way that I know for now.
Maybe some day it could be upgraded with a bitcoin ATM which needs someone to put a lot of capital to create it.

I live in 3rd country and it's super easy to convert my bitcoin to cash using local exchanger, all you have to do just send your bitcoin to the exchanger and sell them after that, you will receive your money on your local bank account, in my experience bitcoin is friendly here south east asia specifically, you might right that converting bitcoin to cash in 3rd country may be hard but maybe in some countries in africa. So far we have never faced any problems in converting our bitcoin to fiat.
Anyway the best way to convert your bitcoin to fiat are using local exchanger or localbitcoin.

There are very few methods of converting bitcoins into your local currency and the best method is to use a bitcoin debit card. There are many trusted Debit Card companies that charge $8-$15 to order their debit card and this card could be used to withdraw cash via ATMs from any country. There are some Bitcoin-based ATMs where you can directly use the company ATMs to convert bitcoins to your cash. Here are the locations: https://coinatmradar.com/countries/

Debit card companies are: Xapo, BitPaY, Coinsbank, Coinbase. You can use Virtual debit cards as well if your country is not listed.

The use of bitcoin ATM machines in converting bitcoins to cash is good but sometimes it is not efficient due to slow confirmation of transactions. For me the best way to convert bitcoin to cash it to use escrow exchange that enables you to send the value of your bitcoin into your bank account. It is much faster and much efficient.

You may have heard of Coin Base, a bitcoin buy/sell place and wallet. That's convenient since it partnered with PayPal, it made things easier for me when I want to exchange my bitcoins into PayPal balance for purchasing computer parts online. I can cash-out my PayPal balance by withdrawing them to my bank account and then just wait 7 business days and go to the nearest ATM.

Personnaly, I am using some debt cards and it works good up to now. But most often I use Kraken, with 9 cents to get a SEPA transfer to my bank account, I haven't find more cheaper. I could find better if the price for sell is higher than kraken only. But I like Kraken because up to now, a phone number is the only verification I needed. I used Bitwala.io as well for a 1% fees. In any case with both Kraken and Bitwala I am happy whith how fast it goes to my bank, usualy about 1 day.

If you have a bank verified Paypal account, you will find a lot of exchanger who will exchange your bitcoin to paypal money in no time. Then you can accordingly withdraw your paypal amount to your bank account. However, a significant amount of fees you will have to pay to the exchange as well as to the bitcoin network.

However, I always use localbitcoin service and try to find traders from my country. I speak tot hem over phone and then start the trade. There's more, you can pay selected bills and buy load. You can cash in and cash out any time and their connections in banks is good too. Localbitcoins is used in most of the countries. Here in our country too it's preferred much by the bitcoin users for trading, buying and selling requirements. Other than this local exchanges were found in which you can make direct buying and selling where the price varies much than the market price.

How exactly 10 minutes confirmation is a problem? If you are extremely unlucky with your transaction (or stingy with your TX fee) you could wait for another 2-3 blocks.
If you want to trade BTC<=>cash then why do you want to involve another medium complicate the whole process?
Buy BTC, exchange BTC to LTC, sell LTC, rebuy BTC, exchange to cash - isn't that too much hassle?

You may have heard of Coin Base, a bitcoin buy/sell place and wallet. That's convenient since it partnered with PayPal, it made things easier for me when I want to exchange my bitcoins into PayPal balance for purchasing computer parts online. I can cash-out my PayPal balance by withdrawing them to my bank account and then just wait 7 business days and go to the nearest ATM.

you were lucky to be born in a "good" country, not everyone was so lucky...
CoinBase does not treat all countries equally, some might use the service others don't

Well, that's kinda good thing have happened to your country but I'm still pretty curious whether there's already regulation released regarding the use of bitcoin in your country that makes your local bank associates with bitcoin and makes their client could freely converting their bitcoin into cash with ease. Just it's not happened yet in my country and probably expecting that there's actually something that could boost the use of bitcoin inside an instance or organisation.

I'm cashing out my bitcoins into cash or converting it by selling it offline like to my friends who buys and sells bitcoin. I always contact him and tell him that i will sell my bitcoins and then he will just prepare the money then we will do meetup and just after that my bitcoins are already converted into cash in a smart and safer way.

What possibly could be the best way to get Cash in hand for your Bitcoins? Maybe in one country or to another.
Keep the safety and speed of the transaction in the mind.

i prefer to sell my bitcoin with my friend which work as local exchanger and he is help me and my other friend to get cash in quickly. but for people in out of my country, they can trying to sell their bitcoin in localbitcoin.com as they can found many seller and buyer that ready to make transaction even with the new person. but be careful when you want to make a deal with someone that you don't know and you never meet him/her, because you can risk your bitcoin to get scam. better to find recommended seller/buyer so you can safe when you want to make a transaction.

True. Traditional ways are always a smart move because the hazard is there but the risk is low. By going online you don't know what will happen in the spectrum space. If you're transactions are low then it wont be a problem if you do it online. But if the transactions is about big time businesses and deals with a lot of money, then what you are doing is a smart way ( excluding the factors of your identification, distance and type of transactions ).

Meeting up also with a stranger is a high risk game and it can lead not only to the loss of money but also the loss of your own life. Its better be cautious in everything and always have someone to back you up. Individuality work brings you total privacy, but having a trusted mate brings you protection and a nice laugh.

Why u don't just sell in localbitcoins to your bank account and then go to an ATM?  in my country selling in LB takes like 5  minutes, the real issue is when u go to the ATM
I am wander from which country you are? In my place there is no any ATM.
And could you, please, explain what is localbitcoins? This is the first time I hear something like that.

The work you say is not really feasible, it only works for those developing countries where the bitcoin support is. In my country, bitcoin is not universally recognized, so no bank accepts it. If we want to sell it, we have to deal directly with other people or use intermediary sites, however, those sites are not really secure. So, we choose direct deals for large deals.

Most probably he is talking about general Bank ATMs
And localbitcoins, is a website to buy/sell Bitcoins. It helps you to find a person who is nearby your location.
You can even post a trade offer and wait for somebody for transaction

You can sell in this forum by opening the sale thread or else you can go to localbitcoins a bitcoin local selling exchange where you will find lot of users who are dealing in cash in hand just you have to contact your country users and deal with them, but just be careful of taking some precautionary steps before dealing in cash in hand and do trading.
Yes you are right , finding a way on converting bitcoin to fiat is always depends on the specific country where you lived on. As you said on your country there is an application base wallet where it easy to convert because it a wallet at a same time it can monitor bitcoin prices so you can decide on converting bitcoin. In me your suggested application is good because most of users wants multi-purpose wallet where you can do a lot of thing in just one click.

With that fast ways you can make sure your funds is secure so that you can't fear your money to be stolen by theives. That faster way of exchanging your digital currency to fiat cash will certainly benefit you along with the profitable services offered, and bitcoin really had a giod reason why people now were adopting to it as well.

As someone who does not have any people buying bitcoins on localbitcoins in my area, the only way I see it is; sell bitcoins for paypal (I've seen people buying bitcoins for paypal on a 1:1 ratio), then transfer them to your bank and then finally withdraw cash in an ATM. Of course, this defeats the whole meaning of anonymity, but it's the only way I can see it be done in my area.

Which area do you live in? I'm curious to know because I've seen localbitcoins in some of the strangest places. BTW, there are other exchangers to look at and I'm certain some will serve your location. I'm running a sig campaign for one that probably does. I won't earn anything from it if you do, just trying to help out. Friendly advice: you need to avoid that kind of PayPal risk.

Because bitcoin can't use for directly transaction. I think the easiest way is by providing debit cards similar to ATM, this is to facilitate user bitcoin Transact directly.
