im sure that everyone would have thought of this at least once at some time or the other,

what is the meaning of our existence?
are we created by the gods of various religions or by some unnamed god on some random whim?
could we be living inside another world(the matrix basically)?
are we to live everyday to ultimately die?

this got me intrigued and thinking,i'm sure that many people have different opinions and different answers,so post em up,i want to know ur different opinions and answers .

But I think if this was the matrix, why not just have people be what they want? Honestly, if this was indeed a virtual world which was just created for purposes of harvesting our organs for power then I think the robots should be really doing a shitty job. Just give us what we "think" we want we would more likely be producing more power. LOL

It's a difficult question. We are all here to check who of us is better and to make this world a better place to live. The reality is another one, we are destroying this world with our crimes against the environment. I don't know why we are here but it is a beautiful world to live in.

However, I do admire successful people who use their skills and money to support worthy causes, such as Bill Gates in his work to lessen the burden of disease in poor countries. In contrast, others amass fortunes to denigrate the less fortunate or to sow doubt about real challenges we should all face, such as climate change, to selfishly protect their fortunes.

Know yourself, determine your goal in life and achieve it, live in harmony with yourself and others, enjoy every moment.

Not really sure if there's any meaning. It depends on how you interpret it. But if there is, it's probably to be happy and make the most out of your short time on earth.

First of all, people tend to overthink there existence too much. Does it really matter that much if we are created by God or we evolved from some caterpillar or whatever... What is really important in this mortal life of ours, is that we live happy and fulfilled life. Be good to each other and help one another. Live life, find your soul mate and get married, get kids. Kids are maybe most important thing in human life, because they are our living legacy. Life is more simpler than we think it is, people made life hard to live.

That is a very big question and by meaning, I believe you are referring to the reason why we exist. The honest truth is that you have to find your own answer because there is no true answer to this question. Most times we find ourselves moving through the surface of this earth not understanding what we are even doing let alone why we are even here. We end up like leaves being blown here and there and once you finally find a spot to lay, you stay for a while until you are blown somewhere else.
As for me, the most important thing is to find what makes you happy, use this source of happiness to create wealth (having lots of bitcoin isn't a bad idea ;) and never stop being happy. Also, as you keep doing this, believe there is a higher power (God), let your conscience lead you to do right and help people as much as you can.

In fact we live forever and there is no death, we will only move to another dimension in the end. It is called heaven and hell, what is your choice for the next dimention. What determines is what you do in the world.

The meaning of life vary from person to person. In my case I think the meaning of life is to experience unconditional love, to be happy and live life to the fullest. Life can be long, short or too short but it must be experienced and enjoyed. 

For me, the meaning of life is to leave the land habitable and to make sure that my children will live in better conditions than I, and grandchildren respectively better than they are. To look further makes no sense because I will not live.

Well i guess i can agree with you when you say that bitcoin makes life easier. For me, bitcoin is like second income, and with it i can get some small things that make me happy :D . We live in material world, where everything is looked true money, and everything has its price. Sadly as much as i do not want to agree with that, it is truth. Personally, I follow the Christian faith which often times gets a bad wrap. I'm not perfect Christian but the concept of living for a greater good and by a general moral compass is so important in life. You have to carve your own faith out of life though. It can be religious or spiritual but I think one of the two is needed.

live for nothing or die  for something i heared it from a movie  and it gives me a great message. we live and we die, thats how short life is but the bottom line is in that short period of time, youre life what did you do? did you make your  life meaningfull?fruitfull? or just a trash,,everyone can make a choice.

Good and deep question yet hard to answer. If you adhere to a religion, for example like me who is Muslim, I would argue that our existence in this world is nothing but to worship the Creator, our Lord. Living in the world is a time to save merit because eternal life is eternal in the hereafter and there are only two choices, heaven and hell. If you want to go to heaven, multiply your deeds because the reward you get from the worship will make you feel like entering heaven.
