The system works by collecting data from supported Blockchains, aggregating it, performing analysis, forecasting and finally performing self regulatory and correctional actions while also providing recommendations for users. The intelligent system discards traditional hard coding in favor of a flexible, realistic system. An Intelligent Blockchain's events and policy's are more reliant on chain activity and outside feeds that on rigid rules that cannot be influenced , specifically the global crypto economic climate can be reflected in the CodeX environment. Features Modified Pos 3 , codename PoSX 42 Million Tokens Native Convertable Assets Varying Unique Asset Classes Support for CLTV and CSV Maturity : 100 Blocks 2FA Wallet Extended Tx Comments Asset Classes Blockchain Asset Classes are separate types of stakeable tokens with unique properties and behavior within the ecosystem.... Primary classes are Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Normal. In the initial release, only Gold, Silver and Normal tokens will be available on the chain. With future updates, assets classes will be added depending on usage and lower ranked assets will be convertible to higher classes. The Codex Proof of Stake X allocates different stake rates to each asset class, with the more valuable assets having higher rates. Normal tokens have a lower base multiplier with the highest multiplier being for diamond class assets. An assets' blockchain transactional value is 1:1 with any other asset, their inherent properties only become apparent when used for staking or other CodeX specific uses. Future feature updates may add new properties that will reflect in transactions, such as priority of coin types in getting confirmed, and differing fee structures. Proof of stake rate is calculated as base reward * multiplier. You can only stake one type of asset per block, you cannot stake asset X and get asset Y ;D conversion of assets will be able in future via special conversion transactions. The Codex Intelligent Blockchain allows each asset class to represent only a limited percentage of the overall money supply, this prevents all users from simply converting to a higher asset class arbitrarily. Additionally each asset class has a stake threshold, this means that you need a certain minimum balance to stake each type of asset. This prevents micro-staking and spamming the blockchain. Development CodeX Intelligent kernel has been in development for over three months and will see it's first release. The kernel is the brains of the system and performs all the computations and decision making. Development is an ongoing process and hence improvements will always be made available to users. CodeX source will be made available for review on the public git, while testing and development sources will remain closed source until official updates are released. Multi-Wallet The Codex Multi-Wallet is a single client app capable of accessing and operating on multiple different block chains. The Multi-Wallet Client is designed to be a flexible , versatile solution for crypto portfolio management. Today's world has many crypto-currencies in circulation, most of which require a user to handle and manage multiple different software, all of which use basically the same code. This cumbersome situation is exacerbated by the sheer number of available currencies, so users have begun relying on the unsafe and insecure practices of leaving their coins on exchanges, using web-wallets or other services which make their holdings vulnerable to theft and/or loss. CodeX multi-wallet returns control of users funds, back to the users themselves by allowing them to use a single app to manage multiple coins and have full control of their coins. You own your private keys, you own your coins and you secure them. No Mt Gox nightmares , as you don't rely on third parties to secure your precious portfolio. All CodeX wallets have an automatic backup feature , ensuring that in the event of a disaster , you have multiple back-ups from which you can restore your wallet. Further , an incremental update will enable 2FA for all wallet related functions, both in the GUI and the command-line to ensure extra security for users. Coins switching is as simple as clicking/tapping the switcher icon to match the logo of the coin you wish to use, the GUI automatically updates to match. To prevent mistakenly trying to use coin X in wallet Y , the GUI changes color scheme to show which coin is active. Bitcoin is a Sha-256 coin, Litecoin uses the Scrypt hash algorithm and CodeX uses Proof Of Stake, these were chosen specifically to demonstrate the versatility of the software and the ability to add even more coins to the client. A Dash port is half done and may be completed in future. ANY Bitcoin based coin that uses standard wallets and blocks can be added to the client. Since some users may not wish to host so many coins, or wish only for specific ones , a simple configuration guide will be provided. Simple Payment Verification To ensure users need not face the problem of syncing BTC/LTC blockchains and their massive data storage and bandwidth requirements, A rudimentary SPV mode has been in development and testing. Thie Simple Payment Verification mode enables users to just sync the headers and only ever processes blocks that contain a users' transactions. This "lite" mode will be super useful as it allow the clients to handle far more coins that while running full nodes for every coin. Coin Requests Users can submit coin requests for coins they wish to see added to the multi wallet. The basic requirements are that it should have a functional healthy blockchain, and an active developer, with as limited a number of hard forks as possible. For a coin to be reviewed, a user must submit a name, link to the thread/website and a link to the source code, if it is accepted, the user(s) interested in seeing this coin as part of the multi-wallet must submit the 5 BTC and 5000 CodeX fee and work will begin immediately. While there is no real limit to the chains that will be added, strong opposition from existing coins in the wallet may result in requests being denied. Crowd Fund Distribution of the initial tokens will be via crowd funding mechanism in the wallet. 250K Gold , 1 M Silver and 4 M Normal tokens will be issued in the crowdfund. Sale of tokens will be of the 4 M normal tokens. Once the 4 M tokens are allocated, the 1 M silver and 250K gold will be issued to participants as bonus for their participation. Funds raised will be used for development and maintenance of various aspects of the CodeX system. This includes a developer and bug tracking/resolution incentive for users and developers alike, improvement in software stability, better wallet management, merged portfolio manager development , funding development of an internal asset and coin exchange, development of a functional AI network and many others. Funny enough PoW would have indeed been easier in terms of the syncing code, serialization etc, but having a PoW only multi-wallet just isn't as complete a solution as i envisioned providing. Nobody likes ICO hence i chose to go the route of a crowd fund, it's not ideal but development of really good, reliable software is costly, it would be to eventually develop a way to host coins based of different code like ETH/ETC. An air drop would not be a bad idea, but i think the bonus coins will suffice. I may give out some coins to other users just to get the staking going. The escrow address should not be used as a direct deposit address. Instead you will use the service provided by the issuer and the invested coins will be daily forwarded to the escrow address. Dev will use a list of bitcoin addresses I hold in a wallet. I will then forward these coins to the real escrow address. Before sending coins please check carefully that the address you are asked to send to is in the list of investment addresses I provided. Can't be changed anymore when you sent your investment already.): Another alternative to proof your ownership of a payment would be to send me the last 4 numbers of your user id as satoshies in your transaction. Move your mouse over my username, see my profile id is 18640. You can see yours when you are in your profile and hover the mouse over the links on the left menu. Something like u=18640 in the links show your User-ID. The last 4 digits are 8640 for my username. When you add the 4 last digits of your userid as satoshies to your payment then it is pretty sure it's your payment too. For example you want to send 2 bitcoins and your profile id would be 18640 then you send 2.00008640 Bitcoin. Refunds possible? Refunds can only be done in case the issuer agrees or there are reasons to stop the ICO by the escrow, because there came up doubts that make the ICO too insecure to proceed. As long as you did not verify your investment transaction in some way I will see your investment as unverified. Otherwise it could mean a random person could claim an investment as his investment and steal it from the real investor. You wouldn't want this to happen with your investment also. Refunds can only be done instantly when you can proof ownership of the investment. Either by signing a message from the sending bitcoin address or by your investment amount matching your forum user id. See description about verification above. If you can't proof the ownership of an investment and a refund needs to be done then you need to wait some weeks so that the risk of being scammed is lower for the (potential real) owner of that investment and for me. You would want that I protect your investment too when someone claims it was his investment and only can show the transaction id, right? Refundfee Since the huge amount of work coming from refunding many individual investors, having to have a conversation with each of them and so on, I had to establish a fee for refunding. This means that by default, when a full node running all supported chains syncs, it already creates additional database information that can be called up very simply and much faster than any api call could. 3) Begin feeding unfiltered data to the AI kernel which then processes it into acceptable input for a NN 4) We are a go, from here it's evolution and better data mining methodology. One of the easiest things i found that made me extremely happy is how the basic code base includes unit tests, which are easily convertible for the purposes fo running simulations :) In all honesty i don't know how long it will take. But with adequate funds raised, there is the potential to garner support from developers who are in it for the money. Essentially , for each aspect, i set milestones and publish them on the github repository. Developers can submit batches of code in the form of pull requests and once a goal is met each dev gets a share based on their input. For now i am a lone developer hence the idea to find ways to convince others to join up. Another small project that the AI could get a part in is the trading interface, have an AI do your trading while you do something else (at owners own risk of course), all this is in the pipeline, but a good funding "shove" should see it come to light. I have been thinking about how this project will be financed, not just the start, but all throughout it's lifetime and evolution. In reality there are two options, crowdfund or OTC. Looking at my dismal advertising,the resulting lack of interest and how other projects have fared long term, i am strongly considering shuttering the crowdfund and going for option 2. I got this idea looking at how QTL solved their problem and I think it is a much cleaner way to rise funds without pouring too much liquidity into the market. So while this is not yet final, here are some changes that I am considering, feel free to make your opinions known and heard, as well as to criticize and/or support this new line of thought. Firstly, I will continue development but begin releasing daily/weekly builds of the client, each with increasing functionality and bug fixes. This ensures development has user input and bugs can quickly be found and resolved. Normal functions available in every other coin such as sending and receiving will function as standard, but extended CodeX functions will require a user to have a minimum balance. This will act as a means of fundraising, and control the amount of coins that will be available for trade, thus the model of lumpsum token release will not necessarily flood the ecosystem with too many tokens. This pay-to-use functionality will be staggered based on balance. For example, some of functions that are determined to be less valuable will require smaller balances, whereas more advanced features will require higher thresholds. I've never been a fan of pay-to-play models, but looking at the situation here i am left with little if no other option. One of the major changes is that the system is not fully decentralized. While the code for decentralization already exists, there is are major hurdles with regards to the following :- 1) Legal ramifications of offering decentralized services such as banking, financing and brokering. 2) Liability in the event of defaults or fly-by-night setups. 3) Arbitration of client-bank disputes Initially I had intended to leave all this in the hands of users, but i have been warned that in some jurisdictions, I may be in trouble if things go south. So I am trying to work out ways to change the system such that i cannot be held responsible for the actions of others. Each Service node was meant to service customers who sign up and maintain a local database which would periodically sync with third tier permanent nodes, to ensure there are un-altered copies of records. Then if a service owner made a run with the funds, there would be a record... but then how to totally prevent such a situation? I thought perhaps to have each node use 2/3 Multisig addresses for services, with the third key being stored on the third tier, much work involved and not sure if feasible. (If it works would be the best solution) and finally i thought of centralized solution, but then this makes me liable... i'm not interested in liability or centralization. So pending current work, i'll update this portion. The crowdfund has been a failure. So tokens will be sold OTC. I will try get a write up of all the new functions introducing and explaining how services will function. As i am a bit tired of this section, i will begin work on decentralized exchange and a centralized exchange interface. Oh yes!! there will be charts tracking info down to the very last detail, for example that is the REAL TIME the supply tracker, it will try to be as accurate as possible and will take its information directly of the blockchain , APIs and other sources such as exchanges. If i get a few hours today I will also create a custom , in wallet block explorer that will give more screen space to visual representations of data. The data capturing and processing sub-system for the AI kernel is what makes all this possible.
