How do you know if the gambling site is a scam or not? how you trust a gambling site for you credit card and know its not a scam?

Read some thread on Bitcointalk. Read some reviews on google too. However, google are not trustful because some website are paid to write good thing about scamming casinos. And you should learn to protect yourself first when you join this cyber world. The best way (in my opinion) is to ask for information from members from this forum. They are reliable and you can trust them

Thanks for the help, but how do you that google can help you by searching as you said some companies offer to pay good reviews on scam gambling sites. How would i know if member from this forum would surely help me?. As a newbie. It would hard for me to trust members in here right?.

You can't know anything for sure but you definitely can have an idea just by searching a little bit, If you can't find anything about the service then It means that the service is new and you shouldn't take risks unless It's tested and used by multiple people, the website design could tell how much effort the owners put on the site as well, usually, scams don't take the trouble to make a good product because they are only here for a small amount of time and they will take whatever they get their hands on etc.

If you find yourself unsure wether the service is legit or not, then you should open a thread on the forums asking about it and wait for answers, and In the same time, people who will look up for the service after a while will find your thread and It will be helpful for them.

Try to find specific alert (like search on google the gambling site + scam).
Remember that obviously you will find also negative OPINION for honest site, maybe related to some specific rule but this doesn't mean anything if a site is scam or not.
If you want use bitcoin it's full of site that accept the currency. Never use with big amount sites not familiar, never trust site too new.

Research online if the website has any negative reviews and there is also Bitcointalk so you could check the threads on the gambling site if it accepts any cryptocurrency or Bitcoin.
People from this forum post on Bitcointalk and post reviews on the website so that the webmasters implement the suggestions onto their site and allow the next person to have more fun than the last.

One thing that could let us know in gambling scam is, what if you are depositing a bitcoin amount to the btc address given by a certain gambling site; and your amount sent to the credits wasn't received. That could be the scenario that I will be having in mind thinking that I might me scammed by the site, therefore it made me decide to avoid having a transaction with them because of what I had experienced. It's really hard to trust when the involve is money and most important thar you really knew how to be vigilant on every decisions you have particularly sending amount of btc.

You can know that by reading reviews about this site, In google or forums. With these review you can know, Its a scam gambling site or not. By the way, This is the main method. but you can know that with your knowledge and your experience.

You never seem to know until it is too late. Unfortunately they have the upper hand when it comes to you giving your bitcoin to them and then you are in their complete control if you happen to win that bet or any other in the future.

So much scam operation nowadays like having hidden TOS, asking Verification ID, etc. You need to search that information to know which site is good to play with good support and easy to withdraw without any requirements to do.

I gamble only with bitcoin, so to find gambling sites scam or not I enough to see this forum. Normally, gambling sites that scam has a bad reputation in this forum and vice versa. I never gamble with a credit card because it was very dangerous to me, our personal information can be easily tracked and vulnerable hack. It is better to gamble with bitcoin because it was anonymous so that our personal information is safe.

It is very easy. You can say that a gambling site is scammed if they doesn't pay any earnings. If a one gambler put many investment in that gambling then earn a high profit then nothing happen because of scammed sites. The most impossible that they show is that they say thay your bitcoin will get doubled or even tripled. That is not true because it is not possibe to get that earning easily. The forum is already full of sites that have proven themselves beyond all doubts and have been here a long time ago by s doing they have a lot to lose by engaging in any malpractices whatsoever. So if we have enough of that, why should we npow bother to look for sites to confirm whether they are scam or not. There is enough fish in the pond to be bothered about one fish.

I know how you feel why you said those thing. Actually, trusting any of the member of this forum isn't easy particularly, this forum has mixed up with the community of the different countries, now its up to you how are you gonna trust them. Now going back to your question, you would only know you were scam if any of your investment in gambling is not giving the payment or if deposit in your bankroll then the balance is still zero it means the gambling site was a scam, just simple as that dude :D

you are not supposed to take the words of a random person on the internet as granted ever. no matter if it is positive review or negative review. these feedbacks are just there to give you some general opinion about a particular service. you need to learn to read them and process it yourself. see if they are lying when they say something is good or bad and see if they provide any proof when they say it or are they just saying a random thing or even possibly getting paid to say it or for example are the competition who are saying it.

and in the end you should always use money that you can afford to lose.

We Cannot know If the gambling site is a scam or not? Try it first Or read reviews or comments In the site or search In the internet search the site if the site is not scam they you should go the site.. I just know when a gambling site is a scam when they do not pay their players but I trust the gambling site when I see proofs that they are paying or have paid their players on the given time frame.

I really do accept for most part and if you really wanted to find out whether the site is a scam you have to play it out and find it yourself and for me personally i do only gamble in respected sites which are active for a very long time and i would bother to go to new sites if one of my peers are involved with the project in anyway,if not i would wait it out.

Well most of the time you can stick to trusted sites that are mentioned a lot on this forum and that'll cover most of the games that you probably want to play since most of the major ones are provably fair.

When you need to check, you could ask about the specific site on the forum, or put in a small amount of Bitcoin (0.0001 or so) and fiddle around with it to see how often you get payouts.  Be careful though, there are some sites that pay for small amounts but not for larger ones.

As I know for example dicebitco.in was the promising site when it launch. Everyone praise it out but the fact is their bet is being rigged in order to cheat people's money

So for me, predicting gambling site especially online web based is just like another gambling attempt beside real gambling so just make sure that you have afford to lose with preparation twice if you bet on web based gambling site

this could be indication although there is not always work as indications because if the gambling site is run by professional people, i think they will anticipated this so people which came into their site don't know that they are a target for them. i think we can know that gambling site is scam or not is by trying to deposit some amount, playing the games, if we have reach the minimal amount, we can try to withdraw and see its work automate or manual and we can see if the site is really paying or not.

Check the announcement thread of these gambling sites to see if they are scamming other players or not. Search some reviews/scam accusations about the gambling site. Before using a credit card triple check or just use another payment method because I already saw some people complaining about getting charged for different transactions.

It's not really hidden, most gamblers just register and play right away without reading the terms and conditions of the casino.

Yeah and the best way for me that I use to decide if a site is trusted or not is that I visit that particular site's thread here and if the owner has no poor comments on his trust page then usually there are no issues.

The feedbacks here define a lot, take example of PD they have no poor feedbacks while Dirctbet have some feedbacks about aggressive advertising which is indeed true though they are legit as fuck !

those famous casino here in bitcointalk were really used by many and with a lots of supporters or users. I think they were reliable enough to continue their works protecting their established trust rating by their users. I don't they planned to scam knowing how people supports them now, I know there were polls for casinos and we might see often their signature here in bitcointalk.

Well I just search for user input here in the forum. If a site is well known here, and has no scam accusations, and users give them good rates and feedback, that should be a good indicator that it's trustworthy. Of course that anything could still happen, so I usually don't put to much coins on it as well.

I also tend to check when that gambling site was built and how active it is. I don't look if a gambling site is attractive or it's kinda relaxing to play but I always tend to play in a gambling site which has a good review and easy to play.

If you are really worried to lose your money, i think you shouldn't try new sites, just play in ones that everyone knows that are legit, and you ill be fine.

First of all you could never know but there are some actions you can do before you sign up and deposit balance. Do some research about the site and ask yourself the following questions. Are there any scam accusations already? How long does the site already exist? Is it a new one or an established one. Does the site provide information about algorithms (especially for dice sites)? How long does it take to withdraw balance? Is it processed immediately or does it needs a manual processing which usually takes some hours?

maybe it is just me but i actually don't trust what i read on a website when it comes to trust and security related stuff. because a website is owned by one person and that one person can get paid to post anything that pays more (we are seeing this clearly with news sites these days).

We need to search their site in Google if they are really trusted or not before you enter any gambling site, and read feedback and reviews about them so you may know if they are really trusted or not. indeed mate i like the idea of betting small amount of money when you played inside a newer house just check the capability of the site to pay and if there's a good support who will able to answer if you have some query, its very important to know first the reputation and the capability to answer any concerned of their players.

I've seen gambling sites before that are rigged to make you win really expensive skins but then make you deposit to withdraw, of course you don't get anything back once you give them your skins..so be careful.

I don't think that asking for a credit card immediately after registering or even before, it is not very liable, not reliable in a way because they could use that information to get you cash. Since we are talking about a gambling site, meaning it's online, probably you can use bitcoins to have a balance there and gamble it. It's going to be awesome if you win.

Since gambling is himself a game of scam where people usually went for the professional gambling and  enjoy the mood with the money  .
So here you should not use your bank account credit card , my suggestion for you to use the virtual cards because the use of the virtual card will not results into risk for the loss of money ( if anything made wrong ) .

Yes now some most famous sites got negative trust so how can you trust that site and that sites are running from last few years. I don't know about 999dice.com, but very low house edge not necessarily means the site is a scam. They can charge a lot on withdraw, for example, being provably fair and having low house edge. And then it is not scam but rather marketing vehicle.  ;)

I'm just learning a new technique for identifying how a gambling site may go for scamming. Thank you for sharing. But I do see there are new gambling sites are coming with edgeless concepts. They are coming with their own tokens for gambling and not based on bitcoin or any other altcoins. That is the reason, it is possible for them.

I mean to say, having a least house edge cannot be a symptom for scamming all the times. But we need to check their revenue if they are not setting house edge at least for generating their revenue to cope up their running costs. Otherwise it might mean they must luring gamblers with their small house edge for future scam.

Actually for me, the site is a scam. I see a lot of players who give feedback, the site of the old establishment, bankroll, owned the site, facilities provided, and also the admin service there when getting a problem occurred within this site. Then that's all that I always do and as long as this also I don't get something that's a scam. So everything is very work for me and be a true gambler and don't just rely on the greed or lust

Actually you can easily google that gambling site like "xxxxx review". There are many popular gambling site and just gamble on that site. If the gambling site have a case about hard to withdrawal, it's better for you to leave that site..

If the site is bitcoin gambling site then this forum is the best place to find the reviews. Well for me the best thing that you can do to avoid scammer in gambling, was to do a research about the site that you want to play with. There will always be one or two scams so don't judge hurriedly generally just 4-5 scams and accusations aren't bad because there are always a few people who feel cheated. check the problems which they faced.

After reading experiences of other I people try out with a very small amount Instead of moving all your money at once. Steadily increase whole money until you are sure and confident that the site is flawless.

I don't believe in gambling websites these days.Most of them are fraud.I have lost lot of my money in these sites.I'm switching to this new platform called Hostgames which's very promising for gambling enthusiasts.

yes, indeed. there are many gambling sites that are legit and recommended. you can try to search gambling sites, try to deposit with a small amount, playing some games and you can win the money, try to withdraw the money. and if this is works for you and you can do over and over then the gambling site is not a scam although this is not always guaranteed, at least, you can deposit and withdraw the money without any problem.

Why deposit and then withdraw just to check if they are a scam, though? Research the gambling site that you're about to play to. Look up reddit threads about them. Look up bitcointalk threads of them. I suggest that you guys only gamble in the most trusted gambling sites. Be aware of the date the articles you're reading have been posting. Look for the most recent ones. It may be advisable to gamble in sites that have an ongoing signature campaign in our forum. That way, when you encounter any problems, you can easily reach out to them and they will try to fix it ASAP as they don't want to ruin their reputation in this place.

To the guy about to switch to using Hostgames, I don't really recommend doing so only because it's new. Gambling is gambling and it doesn't really matter which platform you bet on. What matters is the service that they are offering you so you're better off betting on old platforms that have good reputation. And looking at their website, they don't seem to be ready. At the bottom, you can see that their Whitepaper is "Coming soon". It says a lot about them since they don't have something that even scam ICOs have, a complete and well-written whitepaper.

Winning and losing is just the part of game but when you bet huge amount you lost it but it doesn't mean the gambling site cheated on you,you just becomes over greedy and lost your mind then bet huge amount but if you realize that you are in serious loss then it is a good thing for a gambler and his future.

It is funny to not trusting gambling sites just because you lost too much money. There are many other important aspects to be used such as provably fair system, reputation, etc to decide whether or not you trust the site.
If you stop trusting gambling sites because you lose your money, then simply dont even ever gamble.
