I would think the only way to be sure the gambling site you are frequenting and using is to know it from the start and follow it's progression during this time.
If a year has passed and no major issues have arisen then you are pretty much sure they are not going to scam you or try and steal your funds in your account.

I think the tricks you are talking about are a little bit old fashioned. Isn’t it? I think people are well aware about these things that no one will register for that website if they will ask you question on your privacy. Now, the tricks have also advanced.

You can't know anything for sure but you definitely can have an idea just by searching a little bit, If you can't find anything about the service then It means that the service is new and you shouldn't take risks unless It's tested and used by multiple people, the website design could tell how much effort the owners put on the site as well, usually, scams don't take the trouble to make a good product because they are only here for a small amount of time and they will take whatever they get their hands on etc.
