does anybody know why this coin is flying since last weekend? Thats amazing! But what is the reason for that?

What is your expectation regarding the value? will in increase? is it a good point to invest?

I think it is due to the active development of the Ethereum eco system. More banks are using the Ethereum.

the reason is one word and that is "pump".
most probably the reason for this pump is that there is a competition between whales of ethereum and whales of Dash. they are pumping their coins and are competing against each other you can find both of their spams everywhere!

as I said in another topic, it is hard to predict it at this point. and if you ask me entering now is not such a good idea although price may continue to go up. because as the bubble grows the chance of a burst and price falling down increases day by day.

I remember that late last year, many members of this forum already proclaimed Ether to be dead and they expected the coin to lost its value and significance due to many underlying and obvious reasons. And now it is making a big comeback. I am sure that those who continued to hand on to Etherium are now having some great and smiling days. This can be another very good successful coin considering that it already experienced so many ups and downs and has already built up a good reputation in the cryptocurrency market. Long live Ether!

more tokens are using the network and the gas is pretty much needed to send ETH from wallets to wallets. its going to go up more if you don't buy now, you'd once again be late for the next ride. it often for someone who doesn't look at where its heading. ICOs are already accepting ETH, didn't you noticed that too?

you forgot that ethereum will go pos, and miners will not be abele to dump endless, this is why investors are buying now and stacking while they can produce many amount of ETH later, i think it's a wise decision, ethereum also is huge as a marketcap and will not fall easy imho

 i don't see why they ever created etc either when everything was being fixed. etc exists yet no token was even created to it, it has volume in th chinese exchange but who cares. eth is skyrocketing and will soon be one of the best alternative of btc. ETC could be just a scam coin to enrich the hacker and some scammers.

i agree with you on the POS position if i could afford to hold that much ETH what is it 1500 i believe id gladly collect fees off of that, but who knows when they will finally make the switch over.

The Casper PoS will not switch all of the PoW systems into the PoS system Because The Casper pos has built by PoW(basic). It makes the ethereum will be the PoS and PoW coin.

I see that since the advent of ETH, they do a very good promotion and also the advantages that can be obtained by those who use the coin makes many ETH devotees. I'm sure if you know about travel ETH, because since the time Crowdsale ETH already many devotees until the 6th is not possible for the higher growth of the ETH.If you want to get an advantage in the ETH then you should learn the coin, so that the path you take is not out of line (it doesn't have an advantage)
 
 

This is simple, the Altcoin market has been surpressed by ETF news because no one wants to miss the BTC rally and since it was rejected money will move to another market and the obvious ones are Altcoins and there Ethereum is the king

Not possible, now ETH is 25% of bitcoin market cap, if 100$, that will be 50% of bitcoin market cap, I doubt it will be.

I think most people ought be cautious of the sudden rise. With every sudden rise, there will be a sudden fall.

Sounds reasonable. Bitcoin fall and ETC rise could be correlated. Now we have huge pressure on ETH longterm holders. Most of them don't want to sell it.

i think its because supply and demand in the market that could make eth and dash is flying too high like todays. and i think many investor that want join in the ethereum project and dash project so they use their money to make eth and dash to become more powerful. or maybe its because of bitcoin price is falling too deep and almost altcoin is increase now and there is many more prediction for this and i think we can only guess what is really happen.

The reason is people started to sell bitcoin in fear of bitcoin hardfork, so they sold their bitcoins to different crypto currencies like ETH, DASH, XMR, ZEC, etc. to save the Bitcoin value.

It seems like dash and zec are become the main currency to save his decimal rather than using ethereum in this day and i think it will be good thing dude. Hardfork is destroy everything.

The price of ETH was 10x compared to last year. why do you think ETH ' s still flying? it can be 2-3 years later for it to make 10x again.

If you compare with a few last year, ETH show a great value but as for now, ETH is struggling, IMO.
As I can see BTC is on downtrend and ETH try to adjust it but there is something good on ETH because many big company such Microsoft interest on ETH.
Their judgement won't be a mistake,right ?

Of course, it is a good altcoin to invest. In fact, it is the second coin after Bitcoin. Needless to say, then, it is the first among altcoins. It has been growing little by little from the previous several weeks of getting smaller in value. But then this is not the flying that we have been expecting from Ethereum. There is much more to come for this altcoin. It has not yet even recovered from the late 2017 days when it has reached more than a thousand USD.

Ethereum are being adopted by many bank and companies and we see the many fund raising through icos. However,  ethereum will still remains one of the most strogest and good coins to invest in and we are to also promote it. Bitcoin, ethereum and ripple are doing very well since the weekend and we hope there recover fast in other not to create panic selling by the holders. I also read some were that positive news about cryptocurrencies are coming out of Asia like!

Ethereum will be proven as one of the best coins in the market over time. It raised like hell yeah its too much and won't happen anymore BUT its getting developed greatly. I expect to see 5k dollar ethereum too.

flying ? bro it keeps going down since the all time high at 1400 $ ..now it's worth half of it. But I still believe in this coin I am planning to keep holding it until it switch to Proof of Stake.

It seems I have read from the previous week that ETH is launching the ecosystem and also releasing a few other related altcoins. This makes ETH's rate increase so fast. But as the market is currently unstable, the ETH and Bitcoin rates are down. IMO, the price of ETH by the end of 2018 will reach $2000.

Ethereum price as of now is good compared to the price last few months ago.  For sure the price of this coin will increase more because many people for sure will buy ethereum because it is a potential coin.  Ethereum price possible to become $5000 this year so better to buy ethereum now and for sure you will gain a lot of profit after few months or few years of holding. As is known to all, ETH is one of the best cryptocurrency in the trading market. The price is so stable that people can buy some of it in order to not lose money. From my point of view, it would increase and reach up to $2000 several months later. I suggest that you can hold this for half year.

ETH is a massive coin being no.2 in the coinmarketcap. 2017 was a great year for ETH and 2018 will be more awesome for sure as many updates are due to come this year like Casper and to solve the scalability problem.

The recent raise could be because of the new sneak peek of new update by vitalik buterin of "plasma cash"

Flying on what way? ETH is been attached for bitcoins downfall and maybe it will remain dumped for now since looks like we are on crypto crisis. But we shouldn't get panic on this situation since there will be always a bounce back after a huge dump came, and we should try to get out of this red day stress so that we can keep hodling our ETH and not to sell it on dump price.

It's because so many (thousands) of ICO using Ethereum. Means their platform has been widely adopted, therefore investor have high trust on Ethereum, there may be also possibility of 'bubble', but its just a beginning.
