I am still wondering why I still have to see many digital marketers using and accepting Bitcoin. I hope that soon Clickbank, JVZoo and Warrior+ will soon be accepting Bitcoin as one of the many ways to pay for their digital goods. I think that the market for digital goods is very big and with Bitcoin the market can even be bigger.

More and more buyers can be generated if they start to accept Bitcoin and other digital currencies. As they are into digital products, digital currencies should have been at the top of their payment facilities.

What do you think can be the advantages and disadvantages if digital marketers will finally use Bitcoin on a massive scale?

Here is the forum you may see the people selling digital goods such email accounts, Gift cards, phone numbers and etc. However, if you look out apart from the forum. Still many peoples not using bitcoin for any uses. I expect it needs to initialize in ecommerce purchases and online paid services with the bitcoins.

I hope they accept crypto currency too,but they want buyers protections which solidtrustpay and paypal can offer,crypto currency do not have this option,only escrow will work on this,which I believe they cannot integrate but maybe soon .

The advantage is that they can sell their stuff cheaper for us, because there will be less taxes from government. It would be easier to buy something as there are people that don't use credit cards, and to buy things online we need credit cards (if not using Bitcoins).

I think the only disadvantage would be that the transactions took too much time to complete, solving this issue, there isn't disadvantages on it.

Bitcoin has larger market which is the deep web, it has markets that deal only with crypto currencies like Bitcoin and Monero, you can find all kinds of digital goods there, some people say it is not trusty, but I think you can find trusty sellers, as well as use escrow to complete your deals.

What I want to see is that amazon will be allowing users to buy stuff with bitcoins. That is the boost we need to see bitcoins skyrocket into fame and we would see the prices will also shoot up that way. More adoption will mean more demand, and since prices are driven by demand for the coins then we should see a price increase.

Bitcoin collectors will spend nothing in services and digital products.

Bitcoin acceptance for digital products have increased a lot. Importantly there are online stores that exclusively showcasing specific brand items. This looks an better way of marketing with the use of bitcoin into their business. It helps attract the common man as well people who have been aware of digital currency.

Usualy there is CC accepted. Users love CC for customers protecting.

one of the advantages bitcoin is the use of which is easy. we can buy various products online whenever and wherever we are. that's the reason why we use bitcoin today, but one drawback is the level of confidence when buying online. we all have to strive to improve reputation for e-commerce.

CC are perfect in charge off in the deal with irresponsable service providers.

Amazingly, all thoughts or ideas you are indeed provide enough good things in the future. but I know that all the things that now have not provided a positive impact, because right now it's trading using bitcoin or using bitcoin as payment for the purchase of some of the things we need, very less allowing such things will manifest with either.Selling digital products with bitcoin also depends on the products they sell. If it is indeed being one of the bitcoin who want to buy then it could also give a good impact on the growth of the bitcoin, but if this is a concern because otherwise then there would not be any impact
 

It is easy if you already know how it works, it will be a struggle for new users. Bitcoin is no the easiest thing to learn especially if you are not tech savvy. Indeed, the next problem with online transactions using bitcoins is that it relies heavily on trust and reputation. Which cannot every be removed as it is quite hard to trust anyone online.

Tradition is the most important thing in case of money transfers. I don't know how are fiat money working and what is the legal aspect, but it's not problem for me and millions of people.  ::)

If the seller is a scammers, first you would not start process the payment right then why are looking dispute the transaction. Then Bitcoin is the system which most perfect technical way of processing transaction globally. So everything is under global ledger but no one can't your bitcoin from bitcoins until you share your private key.
Then Amazon is accepting bitcoin via purse.io. Many global brands are started accepting bitcoin from the past 2 years onwards.

things like that is what a lot of harm. we as bitcoin users must remain active to develop bitcoin to become even better. because if it continues like this then bitcoin could lose prestige in the world of e-commerce. many will feel disadvantaged when the transaction is done has a lot of bad actions.

Yes, you wouldn't deal with someone if he is a scammer but how do you know if he is? Thats what he was talkin' about . Purse.io is not affiliated with amazon, it still doesn't accept and recognize bitcoin as a currency . We can know if a company accepts bitcoin only if they made an official statement and you will pay directly not using a third party sites like purse.io . Yes, when buying digital goods better go along with escrow because we don't know the person whether he is selling the exact good what we need. I think many people say that most of the goods are not trustworthy, so think twice before placing an order.

When you are selling confirmation times wont really matter at all because payments will definitely comes to your account when you do make transactions online since transactions arent irreversible which means you can assure that payment will surely arrive even on delay times you must suggest to your buyers that pay up the corresponding fee if you dont like any delays on their payments.

dude look, you can sell with purse.io or open bazar, they both offer good escrow and decentralized shopping, the first one let you listen your used item only in USA i think they don't have the possibility for other country for now, open bazar let you sell everywhere but it's very new and people don't trust it yet, i think will take place when bitcoin will be bigger

Yeah, escrow service is a must while making an order. Importantly everything happening end to end can be traced but if something goes wrong you cannot claim or file an complaint. Everything is on our own risk, it's better find people with good trust rate and make business.

Already we are doing it only. Check in digital goods you could have buy the gift cards, email accounts and other btc related accounts. Therefore, I wish we need to purchase physical products in local stores with bitcoin as a payment.
Some of e-commerce only accepted bitcoin as payment Window as of now. We need more adoption in future.

Well bitcoin is still quite new to most people.

If you walk on the street and ask random people about what they know about bitcoin, most of them will be like "is this guy insane"? ;D

Bitcoiners spend a lot of their time on bitcoin forums, like me. That is why we can get the perception that a lot of people already know and use bitcoin, and wonder why the hell are so many merchants not accepting bitcoin.

It could be costly to implement in big companies, as they have to make sure that everything is in order and they don't get hacked.

But there is really no incentive for them to add bitcoin as a payment option when they make a lot from accepting credit card payments, even though they are charged a fee to accept CC payments and carry the risk of fraudulent transactions.. There will only be incentive once there is more bitcoiners actively using bitcoin, and asking them to accept BTC.

one of the advantages of an e-commerce in using bitcoin that they can enable customers to pay for the goods they sell. currently there is not a condition that is difficult to use bitcoin, unlike credit card and BANK. bitcoin point can give us ease of doing buying and selling. I felt no weakness bitcoin in e-commerce.

Well i think that this advantage is larger than disadvantage, because the disadvantage is long payment confirmation but you can solve that by sending larger fee when paying for something, and no tax on products you want to buy is always good idea, So if bitcoin will stay alive for more years, i am sure that more internet, and even real life sotres will start to accept bitcoins as payment, of course if people will ant to spend their bitcoins.

Compared to PayPal and other payment gateways, that is one major advantage even if there can be some delays in the blockchain. Well, of course, the delay can be annoying and the increasing fees can be disappointing because Satoshi did not found Bitcoin nor envision it to be as it is now but we have no choice but to adopt to varying situations and challenges which Bitcoin can encounter now and in the future. There is never a smooth ride for Bitcoin but I think things are worth it. :)

There's no real downside to accept bitcoins other than price fluctuations. Even then, usually charge backs from hacked/cracked/stolen credit cards will far outweigh any loss you may have from bitcoins dropping a few hundred dollars every now and then.

Actually,I think that using BTC as a form of payment and actually letting people pay with BTC is a great idea-first,because it's really easy-you just generate a new address and they send you the BTC that way-and it's easy to check-the transactions come fast and then you can transfer your BTC if you want so-all I can think of are advantages when it comes to using BTC as your main source of payment option

I guess late conformation problems are getting solved as low priority per 1 Kb is ~25k satoshi which usual fee level or you can get assured confirmations with 40k satoshi. If you talk about waiting for 2 or 3 confirmation like up to 30 min, then I am sorry bitcoin works this way we need to tolerate for other enormous benefits.

There are many third part services to lock your prices once you complete deal with customers. Hence price fluctuations will not be a concern for merchants any more.

The only downside of accepting bitcoin as payment is their pump and dumps.. Sometimes the value is high sometimes its so low. Just like what happened to Fiverr, in the past few months they were accepting bitcoin, but now they removed bitcoin due to its unpredictable price change.

Yes, but that is up to buyer if he will pay more but get his items faster, or pay less but he will have to wait for them.  We are talking about digital stuff, most of them you can "ship" simply by email, while people would have to pay larger fee to pay for their stuff instantly in real life stores, so i don't think that higher fee might be disadvantage while speaking about digital products

One thing I notice here, the digital goods sold from bitcoins are crappy , hacked accounts, email database. Hope people stop ruining the bitcoin reputation.

Implying that all people who use bitcoins are criminals because they use it for illegal activities is a very stupid theory.
BTC is widely used also for purchasing different types of goods (legal ones obviously), that is why it is a great solution to implement it as a payment option.
However I can spot a big competition for BTC, because we have paypal, which is also another easy way to pay for digital goods.

To sum up, I always thought that there is no better way to choose cryptocurrency as a payment method for digital products.

The biggest disadvantage at the time is the confirmation times which can be very long but also another problem is that internet users are spoiled at this moment, when they buy things they get 30 days back guarantee and stuff like that and that could be difficult to implement in bitcoin.

I dont think that it is seen as a big problem for such a digital marketers, there are solutions that would not be affected by the confirmation time.
Im sure that also the fee is not such a big issue if we are talking about the costs of doing a trade. It is because even the big transactions are really ok with even 0.001 satoshi fee.

I always thought that it is not such a great commision to pay if we are talking about big sum of money, where fee does not exceeds 0.1%.
For example, you can pay for a website or a big part of code with 10,000$ in BTC, and sending that through will cost you 0.001BTC.

It is even less than 0.1%, so the transaction cost is not that high.

The advantage I see is that it would be a more secure and anonymous transaction for the buyers. The problem though is that actually bitcoin transactions are more expensive than just using credit cards online. Since credit card transactions are quicker and doesn't need transaction fees, though there are still some fees. Bitcoins are more expensive since for example you don't have bitcoins with you, you have to buy some else where and again fees are there.

And one more problem will be that there will be a lot of intermediary services between the seller and the buyer. They will take commissions for enumerating the bitcoins, in return offering some privileges

I do not think that the confirmation is an issue when we are buying digital goods.  Digital goods are not the same as offline store where buyers needs to line up to pay for what they have bought.  With digital goods which is obviously sold in an online market just needs to have the QR or the address generated where we can pay the items we like. With this method, even within a single seconds can have multiple transaction.  And the money back guarantee can always be implemented by the store owner at his own discretion.  The beauty is that, there is no charge back which is an advantage for merchants.

For traders, not only should the goal be to take money from buyers, they are also concerned about the speed of the operation. If you buy an online store, then it is clear, and if in real it is generally impossible and will bring a lot of difficulties that the merchant refuses to use Bitcoin.

High fees are still a problem, but if there are people using it to buy things online, it certainly makes the lives of those people easier. There are also occasions when merchants provide discounts for people using Bitcoin, and this works as an incentive to bring in more users.

Buy stuff for Bitcoins online worth because the discounts we have when using the currency, maybe they give discount because the fees are lower when dealing with Bitcoins for both parts, the buyers and the sellers. But at this time we need to check if the deal is really worthing as the transactions fees are being very high somedays... The opportunity to spend on our desired product or service have increased much more than the past, along with increased discount. As a part what I personally think is that bitcoin price varies with time. So on an average price for product were placed and on increase the price we spend for a particular product seems high after months when the value of bitcoin increases. This makes me to go on saving and investing rather than spending.

It seems to me that good opportunities are provided on the ground with exchangers or already in the wallet itself. That's just all this online service. In real life to bitcoin is still far away.

There's a lot of selling thru online even digital items, but I cannot experience to buy digital items using bitcoin. Maybe, in the future it was happen or maybe it happened to the other country. The piracy may kill any digital products as I do see Microsoft itself could not find solutions to tackle how people are managing to skip the activation of their products. When you will be having effective plans on tackling piracy, selling digital products may get you good results or you need to switch over to new products consistently so that you will be getting chances to make profits.

I am also interested in where that country is. That's amazing to see that you can use cryptocurrency in the real world. This is not just simply converting your crypto to fiat, but actual use of crypto to buy real world stuff like coffee and other products. This is a world I dream of.
