I'm telling you someday in the next week you'll wake up and see that LTC has landed on moon with a $45 market price. after seeing DASH and ETH pumped so fast I'm planning to liquidate my entire life, house/car/gold/bank accounts savings all included and buy LTC I might be able to earn 8 times over in less than a month.

What do you think?

Never put your eggs in one basket. There are miners who have been accumulating litecoin for a few years now and they are going to be selling into any rally, as well as bagholders who did not sell fast enough from the last pump. The smart move would be to hold mostly bitcoin with only a small portion of your holding in litecoin.

i hope its really happen as many people is waiting LTC gets pump like other coins. but we need to wait until its happen and in the meantime, we can still trading for many coins that have good potential for us to make profit. but be careful if we want to use hit and run technique, we should be aware for the trap price so we can avoid it.

Putting everything into one coin is too risky. You need to diversify in case LTC crashes for example. Its a gamble so don't risk what you can't afford to lose!

Your sarcasm aside, this .0065-.007 seems like a solid consolidation point for another pump. I'm thinking around .013-.015 one week from this post. We'll see though, put a few BTC on it and see what happens!

if this will happen you will be a 8x's richer than before, but i guess its hard to place everything in one place, there's always what if.. and we can't control crypto movements although ltc really have a good potentials to rise up i will try following you with my spare btc and invest with it.

I say go for it you only live once... infact borrow from neighbors, family, parents, High interest CC, pay day lender, Car title loan companies... ask for advance pay day. 401k liquidation don't leave a single stone unturned.... put it all on Lite coin and if it doesn't work out there is always Chapter 11.

I will suggest you stop your feet and hand to do this thing because in the virtual currency anything happen in a second Because in the altcoins history many persons got death ( with zecoin , I am not sure for this news but one of my friend told me about this ) .
So here be careful for any type of mad descion , I will suggest you to start with small amount of 50-10$ and increase the whole wealth and  start with small small Investment in all the possible bright feature altcoins .

and right now we have seen one 100% rise and a lot of profit. i think there is still room to go higher but as i always say, after a pump rise becomes harder and entering after it becomes riskier every day.

Sure. I totally agree with this. Yes, litecoin is 10% up in the price. Perhaps you should invest some money right now and sell when it starts falling down. But there are other coins which go up and down every day. You should consider investing in coins like Steam, Wevas, Stratis and so on as a really short-term investment and in Ethereum (when the price will become around $30), Bitcoin (still the best, we shpuld forget it), Dash/Zcash/Monero/Byteball.

I was probably because of SegWit signalling for Litecoin started, and there is high chance that Litecoin will accept SegWit.
We are at 336/576 (58.33%) blocks signaling support for SegWit in the past 24 hours, to activate it we need 75% majority.

I hope LTC makes a new all time high then crashes hard so it is not pumped and killed like dash. After crash i hope it rises slowly to $100 over the next 12-24 months. Going to $100 straight without the adoption, infrastructure etc. is just a recipe for disaster long term. Dash is now learning this with the long bear market they have now entered. As dash bleeds litecoin will only continue to rise.

It could. But it should not for its long term health. If the LTC price goes to $100 before its really worth that much it would damage its reputation long term. I am hopeful of a new ATH and then a stable $10-$20 price in the short term.

Its got the second biggest hashing network, second longest chain, tried tested and true. A great dev, lots of loyal supporters and tones more.

My asic scrypt miners are on double rent out rates these days, a good sign that there is faith in a price rise.

Sure, Litecoin rises but it has all this year.
Now there are a lot of miners who can change their coins for others coins.
Now, Ripple has generated a lot of bitcoins, and these bitcoins could be saved in their wallet or invest in stable and trusted coins. Ripple has increased number of bitcoins and it's open to speculation in a short time.
A lot of people think in classic coins like LTC, Doge and PeerCoin because they do not need any explanation to survive and they have won their position since their born until now thanks to their community.
Etherum, Dash, ZCoin and Monero need something great to increase their value next month. They will be stable.
I think Litecoin maybe increase to 9-10 $ in a week or 15 days. Maybe 11.5$-12$, but only a second.
If Litecoin increases until 45 $ this month ... something bad could be happen, and these kinds of pumps are focus for DDOS attacks, hackers or problems to sell and withdrawal.

There are miners who have been accumulating and bagholders for every single coin. You think people weren't accumulating Dash for a while before it went wild? Or Ripple? Any other coin that's ever had a bull run? Same goes for bagholders. I see people say this all the time, it doesn't mean Litecoin can't have a run like every other cryptocurrency that were also "being accumulated for years, and laden with bagholders".

To early to say LTC will go back in track and beat its own ATH.  Not much of a news here, maybe I not aware but I do not see any reason for LTC to go to the moon yet.  As a matter of fact, since Bitcoin is recovering , there is a chance that Litecoin price might probably fall back or decline if Bitcoin value keep on increasing.

I have a lot of faith in LTC and China. Strong volume on LTC for years in China. Could have been accumulation. Time will tell.

positively thinking that there's no real competition so if ever those traders inside that 3 giant exchange pump both coins it will reflect in any exchange that we are also using and lite will jump high together with btc but for OP its really hard to place everything inside one project maybe you can split it up between lite and btc.

i was telling people this exact thing a couple of months back when price was ridiculously low at 0.004BTC and now price is simply twice that amount and still rising.

I am Net Seller of Litecoin every bump higher i am selling... so are tons of A2-A4 L3 or any other Litecoin mom and pop miners.. they are all selling in rally... why wouldn't you, you have to pay Electricity cost and recoup your initial investment. I can hold Litecoin once i recover my initial cost, other than that i sell them as fast as i mine them... Let me know if you are doing anything different.

during a pump it doesn't matter what you claim you do. and it really doesn't matter if you and other miners are actually selling. what the miners may or may not sell is the sell pressure that is always present in the market (nothing new about it) but what is different during a pump is the demand and the demand or buy support is much stronger than miners can sell.

and besides big miners aren't stupid to dump and crash the price, they also want more profit and will sell on top and slowly in order not to create any sell pressure or resistance on the way up.

Ltc can be pumped hugely, but actually Stratis is the current best one, buy and hold, and make masternode to be rich, easy money!

I think you are doing the right thing with renting out your mining rig. That way you can make sure you earn more than you need, stay profitable, there was a place where you can mine when its not rented out and that way you were mining the most profitable coin when the rigs are not rented and when someone rents it you gain anyways. That is the most optimized way of earning income with a mining rig.

I agree for sure... only people who can afford to hold is big mining operations.

75$ is not possible for this coin to be achieved and since the price of it is been tripled for now well im pretty sure that people are currently watching and aswell as staking it at this point. And im little bit surpised now on what is happening on LTC since looks like they are racing with bitcoins to reach its another historic milestone of the year.

75 is perfectly possible, it will go back up after they are ready to implement lightning.

LTC price is increasing after the segwit, already the price of LTC is increased. Then how can we expect more increase in the price, on what basis people are expecting more higher price.

LTC may test again for a double bottom at 0.013 sat so im not buying anything above that price... maybe 0.014 at all, but if you are going to buy higher then good luck, im not going to be a bagholder.. so give me cheap LTC and I will buy it, not before.

LTC will go all time high but be patient for better buy entries.

In the market when someone suggests something that turns out to be a success later on, those people who listened and invested and earned some nice profits usually share a percentage of their profit with that person, here they call it tip, so if I asked to tip me it wasn't begging just a tradition.

I think you are wrong, with LN LTC won't be much different from ETH, and will stay POW which means secure network.

Let me get to office and get more litecoin as it price is below $24 now because it has been at the  oversold areas for some time and it not suppose to be so. When litecoin was introduced to the crypto currencies years back it was doing very well and I hope this may be the only opportunity to buy litecoin cheap.

litecoin is possible to be $50 each before end of this year 2017.  Coinbase add wallet for LTC so the price will increase again for sure. Buy LTC and for sure after few months  yout money become double . Dont waste time . Times is gold. Litecoin become powerful everyday. Those people buy litecoin with cheap price for sure are very happy now because they earn a lot fof profit. I also bought bitcoin when price is cheap but I decided to hold my LTC for few months.

Yeah, i agree with your opinion, this is a very cool coin and has a lot of potential in the future because litecoin is based on the activity of bitcoin but it has its own characteristics. I think if bitcoin is gold, litecoin will be silver and if the price of bitcoin increases rapidly, the price of litecoin will increase with bitcoin, the problem is only time. Currently my friends and I are holding a lot of litecoin, we very much believe in its future, hopefully at the end of this year, it will reach $ 50 as you say

When bitcoin finally adopt SegWit we can see BTC super rise, this will lunch and LTC.
Please provide us more information's how one coin which has more than 1500 btcs in volume of daily trade can be dead? Question of which is better algorithm for some coin, basically everyone is good which can provide good and secure network.

Not to mention it's one of only 3 coins gracing coinbase/GDAX.  In all seriousness litecoin's code is superior to bitcoin's though there are dozens of alts that are better than both of them. Thought about taking my existing GDAX balance and buying all LTC with it, if the global market cap can break through the double top we're at right now... if it does hit about 95 billion, it's breakout time and that means the bubble keeps going until at least 120 billion, if not 150 billion. Might as well ride the train up, because LTC will double in that time period, perhaps passing NEM, not sure... particularly with speculation about the lightning network. NEM is the superior coin but it's not about superiority, it's about a combination of tech and hype, just like with the regular stock market (just look at TSLA)

Look at the weekly for Ltc/Btc ratio. It is in a heavy downtrend with the daily SMA at 0.006-0.007 support. We might go to 0.02 again but I doubt we breach this resistance. This year and into next year may see litecoin at 0.005 and maybe even new lows for Ltc/Btc ratio. What do you think about this scenario?

it is kinda disappointing that LTC has been stagnant for a lot of time now, most of altcoins have been pump but this coin has been forgotten and people did not find any potential with LTC. Anyways, we are always hoping for the best, see you around LTC.  8)

It can happen another dumb, but under 0.01 won't go, expectations are too high, this will eventually be good reason for whales to lead us to 0.1 all this is because of positive atmosphere which is creating around LTC.

This is because LTC was so quiet, and PnD rhetoric was not used till now. Now we have realistic expectations towards LTC future because we are aware what new integration's can bring.

Ltc/Btc is dumping it is going to either double bottom at 0.0098 soon or break support and go to 0.008. The weekly is not looking good.

Someone deliberately suppresses  the price with constant small dumps training to bring price down. Even if this happened wont change anything, LTC will shine in whole its glory very soon. I don't see any reason why wouldn't we see another one glorious pump, this time it will cause earthquake somewhere, probably in China.

I may miss out on this, but Im somewhat suspicious of the market now. I'll not buy until after next dump, even if it should be higher level than now.

LTC is fading in face of so many new entrants and new icos. BTC's position is unshakable given its status of being the base currency for alt coin trades. what does LTC have which others can't offer? I think it's slowing being marginalised.

Can you explain how it is fading? It is one of the most stable and reliable coin for years, with a big community support around it. New entrants may not even be here in next 6 months, most of them are scams, and lot many are so overvalued that once they are dumped, they will never rise again. LTC has seen rise and fall of many such new entrants, and it's still here.

LTC is developing fast (has activated Segwit) and has good fundamentals. Lightning network is coming soon. Fast confirmations, works great as a currency and low USD price for investors who think they missed the boat on BTC and ETH. Its been flying under the radar for far too long while other shitcoins have increased in price by a lot more. Selling all of my ETH profits and moving it into LTC. I have a feeling in a few years ill look back and will regret not buying more.   

Most of all LTC use is so simple in comparison with some other coins or tokens and makes him very interesting for usage. I'm confused while i'm using ETH wallet and its Tokens, how much gas should i put, then few times my transactions failed, huuhh, imagine how this look to ordinary man who using it for the first time..

Eth and bitcoin are too expensive, I agree. As for litecoin.. It's hard to say for sure.. I waited for the dump and bought for $20, now it is $30. What if there won't be a big dump anymore? Or, to be more precise, what if the next sump will lead to the prices we think of now as high ones? I think now is the time to invest in some cheap coins like waves and seek luck.

I have just bought some coins today and I'm waiting for good news from Dev .
It seems LTC is quite stable and The price is in the range (25$-30$) in this time .

I think segwit needs to be a force demonstration or something like that in next months/weeks, and it needs to increase its value because it has no sense that this coin was more valuable without segwit.
(For me its real value will be when its price will rise in btc, not in $)
I do not like Litecoin after that because its reputation was questioned. Yes, it's a decentraliced coin but where are the major part of these coins?
