Title: Best BTC Debit Card?
Post by: JGoRed on April 06, 2017, 01:31:31 AM
I'm looking for a Debit Card that can be:
Funded by BTC directly
Has no monthly fee
Has few other fees
Can be purchased in the US
Comes in MasterCard or Visa (can be either)

Does a card like this exist?

It doesn't exist. You will still get the fees for use the debit card service.

Here you go.

Looks like you will still get the fees/top up fees. And most of them are not available in USA.

If you want a legit and good service then I suggest BitPay Visa card. It's one of the few that can be ordered to the U.S and It also has no monthly fees unless you are inactive for a long period of time, It only costs 9.95$: https://bitpay.com/card/resources/Fees.pdf

1. Here is good list of all bitcoin debit cards https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1410577.0
2. Yes all of them can be funded with BTC
3. Most of the bitcoin debit cards charge 1$ monthly fee.
4. They have withdrawal fees, deposit fees and their bitcoin price  have some margin.
5. Not many support US but i think Bitpay cards can be purchased on US.
6. Most of them are VISA.

I think such card doesn't exist, but I think you are not the one who are searching for a card with the same or similar terms, so this could be great idea for start up and profitable business in the future.

Visa and MasterCards logically works everywhere worldwide the US as a country is not supported as Wirex so basically It won't be possible to create the virtual or get the physical card shipped to him, using fake information's could lead into getting his account frozen by the bank.

Advcash has no monthly fees and can be funded by bitcoin. You send the bitcoin to your Advcash account, then transfer the fund from your wallet to your card. You won't find any service where you don't send the bitcoin into your account first. The fees you pay is 1$ each time you load the card. If you load 500$, 1$ is a reasonnable ammount in my opinion. Of course there are ATM fees. Theirc cards are Mastercard

Most of the bitcoin debit card have huge fees on using in bitcoin ATM, monthly fee and other charges. If you op look to get the best and secured wallet card you can choose xapo, bitpay or advcash. I heard that spectrocoin is having very low fee for shipping in buying card and usage monthly fees also seems to little when compare with others.

Xapo seems best in terms of lowers fees and quick loading. Coinsbank has variety of cards even for the countries with restrictions on debit cards. Their nameless cards are best suit for restricted countries. More interestingly anyone could get bitcoin debit cards from coinsback without submitting documents which may be the best case against xapo for many people here.

Coinsbank.com is a trusted services, formerly known as bit-x, ran signature campaign here for years. Saying this, if you doubt about their credibility.

Thanks. Unfortunately Xapo doesn't offer debit cards to me since I live in the US. I'll have to check out CoinsBanks soon.

Hi. Yes I use it regulary with online stores and never it has been refused so far. This, with their plastic or virtual card no problem. The same thing with offline shops, like supermarkets, ect and I use it more than my bank card. So for me i am totally happy with advcash, i don't ask anything more than what is promoted on their website.

Did you check with spectroCoin, they are having active support on this forum and their fees seem relatively cheaper. If your country has any restrictions on visa/maser card issuance then you may need to go for virtual cards from than you can load/spend from your Paypal/netteller accounts.   I am using spectrocoin's plastic card for more than one year without any issues.

To be honest, I dont know many websites where you can get the plasitic card with bitcoins, because it is pretty rare for me to trust some page by giving my money to them, for a specified purpose.
Every time I send a transaction I feel like im going to get scammed, probably because that happened to me many times before.

To be fair with you, I know only one company which have such an option, but I think you may trust them without any issue. I have heard many positive opinions about them, and also some of my friends are using this plastic card, and they are happy with it.

For now I am not yet interested with this kind of whatever debit card to have for future use because, I can cash-out bitcoin through banks directly and it's really safe to transact compared with debit cards. But I see advantages using debit cards, but the real score is the safety purpose why I chooe to cash out my bitcoin exchanged to fiat money through bank due to it's an anonymous transaction to do and transaction numbers; and e-mail confirmation is very safe due to passcode emailed to your personal e-mail which intruders could not easily penetrate the info that you had.
