Those stuff above are the same thing. One of them is being advertised in schools, one is advertised by the president and the other is general advertising.

Never does any good. Same as printing money.

That's the result. (and the most benefiting one) To achieve this result, you definitely need advertisements. So "Advertising" is my answer.

More people know bitcoin's existence, there will be more potential users.

In this stage bitcoin need a lot of new users, so it needs a lot of advertising, and worldwide presentation from school will be great, if we teach crypto currency for teenager, it will be great for crypto future and if bitcoin could be implemented in more business it will attract more user to used bitcoin and bitcoin can become more valuable, while huge giveaway only going to benefit for the person that already know bitcoin

To spread the opportunities that the bitcoin giving inbmany bitcoin holders and bitcoin users the advertising is the best way to do it or doing a seminars about cryptocurrency mamy people didnt know about bitcoin so they dont have awareness and knowledge about bitcoin to start investments.

"More sites using it" is the best option to make more people adopt Bitcoin as digital currency to make online payments. The casino sites already made a good job for BTC community by allowing people gamble with Crypto-Currency, now the shopping sites should help Bitcoinas well by accepting it officially as payment method.

The another options would be helpful too, but the option mentioned above is the most useful to benefit Bitcoin.

As of now bitcoin acceptance is increasing on the merchants side as well from the common people. At the same people need to be at least a technical knowledged to some extent. For this reason acceptance from online stores would reach only a certain user community mainly the internet users. We need to reach common people to go similar to mainstream usage.

If a president were to endorse Bitcoin, it would signify that the president supports Bitcoin and thus it is legal no matter what. No matter what kind of advertising you do, people are always going to be want to stay within the boundaries of the law. Even if all the sites were to use Bitcoin, people would still prefer traditional method because it is more trustable.

One thing that will benefit is that country legally announcing bitcoin as a virtual currency. This will boost and mass adoption will happen in that country. As Japan legality approved it dues to which we have seen a huge surge in the price where its has cross 1800$ levels due to legally approval from one country.

Well and it's hard to imagine that during the early years this is just like an underground business that only cryptographers and other coders only know the trade and later it begun expanding into a promotion site for project sites. And i can say that economically it will change how the world see currencies and most transactions will take please in an untraceable data.

all of these are helpful one way or another but in my opinion nothing can beat people wanting to spend their coins. it may sound silly but if people start treating bitcoin as a currency more, and stop just hoarding it, then the "mass adoption" that everyone is just dreaming about will happen.
because merchants won't accept bitcoin as long a there isn't enough demand of it (enough people wanting to spend) and others won't accept it as long as there isn't much usage for it.

Us. we bitcoiners would benefit with the bitcoin. You can easy say that to your self. Bitcoin is helping you in terms of money right? When the price of bitcoin goes up you earn a profit from it. All of the bitcoin users will benefit from the price of bitcoin and no other than that. All people who have a bitcoin in wallet will benefit the bitcoins

a more stable price to begin with, is what i think will benefit bitcoin most of all. it helps many trust it as a currency to use and also a good investment that doesn't swing around big like $100-$200 at a time.

??? It would help to do TED Talks and teach young students or university level ones about Bitcoin. It has been done before and does build interest from technically skilled people but would not be the main objective it is a good long term goal though.

Advertising, for me, is the major way in order to promote bitcoin and gain benefit from it. Any type of publicity is a form of advertising and propagating information about bitcoin will definitely bring bright effect not just for bitcoin but also for every individual who uses it. Moreover, this is the type of activity that bitcoin developers lack. If ever bitcoin was advertised from the start, I think bitcoin is a God now.

- A promotion from the president. I really doubt that any president will promote that, if only bitcoin become national currency.
- Advertising. it can help, but just not so aggressive to bitcoin doesn't look like new financial pyramid for the people who don't know anything about it.
- More sites using it. I would add here "more places using it", because if bitcoin will be accepted in a supermarket on the corner it will attract attention and will help for bitcoin's spreading.
- Worldwide school presentations. I heard that in some economic schools they talk about bitcoin during their lections. I think Bitcoin have to be discussed in every high school.
- Nothing. In this case bitcoin will stay known only in a short circle of bitcoin users and it's spreading will be very slowly.

More and more sites using bitcoin,the more ane more people are interested to bitcoin ,fast and easy payments ,no need cash just btc address and your good to go .

More and more businesses apart from only gambling and porn then it will grow higher. Because as of now mostly only gambling people are using bitcoins and other businesses not accepting bitcoin. If they also start accepting these bitcoins then its prices will go sky high. But that is not so easy because many governments still not considered to regulate bitcoins yet.

Out of the options given i can only pick adoption as #1. If people are using it nothing else really matters, this was the original intention.

I think that the biggest thing to happen to bitcoin is only through the support of the president. If there is a support of the president the central banks will also follow and that will bring a new era to bitcoin. If bitcoin will be advertise in a school, don't you think it will affect the students? Making the teachers alarmed, banning the bitcoin, especially the students. I think bitcoin don't need to advertised, the services like bitcoin wallet or exchangers must do the advertisements of their own services, bitcoin will be said in that advertisement, no need to make a different advertisement for bitcoin.

The thing which could benefit the Bitcoin most is "mass adoption". More the people using Bitcoin, more will it expand and nurture.
You said promotion by President. A promotion by President could be only when Bitcoin is legalized in country, otherwise why the first person of country will promote something illegal. So, legalization or recognition is the most prominent thing which could benefit Bitcoin and contributes to mighty mass adoption.
Then, advertising and sites using Bitcoin are also various way in which mass adoption could increase. So they are also the sub-heads of the same.
However, I don't think "Giveaways" will ever contribute to Bitcoin popularization especially in 2017 when there are already millions of users of Bitcoin.   

I voted for advertising. While more sites using accepting bitcoin is a big part of the goal, it has to come from demand. This means we need more people to own bitcoin and the ask their local retailers "Do you accept bitcoin?"

This can be accomplished with a global advertising campaign that literally asks people to ask their local merchants "do you accept bitcoin?" With some helpful resources for people to learn how to buy, store and spend bitcoin.

I agree, bitcoin has its own fans, only certain people who use bitcoin, I think, let bitcoin be searched by others, many people are looking for people to use it, if advertising in school, I am sure this will be very complicated. . , Parents will not let it. It is very strange if students or schoolchilds focus more on bitcoin hunting than school, and bitcoin is still unacceptable as a means of transactions by people, so I think, let bitcoin be in place. I am going with 'more sites using it' imagine if amazon,ebay and other popular sites start using it there would be more benefit for the bitcoin. More adoption then the price would be sky rocket, but i doubt those companies would adopt it we all know that bitcoin transaction is very slow also it's not suitable for small transaction cause it consumed much fee so i believe they would think twice before adopt it as their payment system. In fact bitcoin offering more advantages such as irreversible,decentralized and simplicity yeah maybe this scaling issue must be fixed first in order to make bitcoin more perfect as payment method.

Well, anything from the choices except for nothing will surely benefit bitcoin. Bitcoin needs all the help that it can get so that it will become more successful and accepted to other countries. I have voted for "More sites using it", but in fact I think we are missing an option here. What about "More people are using it"? Because IMO wider adoption is what benefits bitcoin the most.

Ofcourse really a profitable thing but for the owner of the bitcoin not for the Bitcoiners , it is because most of the Bitcoin holder usually wait for the time to increase the price of the Bitcoin and this is possible when the Bitcoin available in the Limited amount in the Bitcoin market so it will be it will be more better that we should have a limited amount of Bitcoin in the Bitcoin market that will be result into the lack of the amount of Bitcoin in the market and this will give rise in the price of the Bitcoin .
Since in the Bitcoin we have the limit in the Bitcoin supply of a 21 millions that is really a cool thing for those who holds the Bitcoins because after the mine of a total of 21 millions of Bitcoin the amount of Bitcoin suupply in the market will get stop and this will surely result in the increase of the price .

More and more businesses and Individuals using and saving Bitcoin would benefit it more but to be honest, the most pressing problem that needs to get fixed where Bitcoin is concerned is the scaling problem. That really needs to get sorted fast or Bitcoin might be only used for large transactions in the future.

There are a lot of people that will benefit bitcoin but the ones who are going to benefit more is the company behind Satoshi Nakamoto. Did you thing Nakamoto created bitcoin without a marketing plan or a road map. Using logic and common sense the biggest exchangers were part of Nakamotos groups, along with it are other online businesses. We thought that satoshi was simply making bitcoins but it was planned all along to create an empire of businesses using bitcoin as a form of currency.

More advertising is good because with more popularity the demand will increase and the price will increase alongside with it. More sites using it is also important because one of bitcoin function is as a digital currency. If there are a lot of stores that accept bitcoin, people maybe start to use bitcoin. The last is the legality of bitcoin in the country. If the country announce bitcoin adoption, more people will start using it.

yes that can be a good idea, but to me i think it is one of the most difficult job to education children about bitcoin. i think it will take a lot of time as it is not such an easy job for them to know about the technical issues about bitcoin. as bitcoin is still not using as currency, therefore children do not need to learn about bitcoin, because people are using bitcoin for investment and trading purposes.

I expect more sites/people using it and this is what I voted from the poll because if more people and websites starting to accept bitcoin then people that don't know about bitcoin could become curious about it then they might start buying some once they become interested. None of the options in the poll, what would benefit bitcoin is segwit adoption. After that then more places accepting bitcoin is what is needed, not just sites but physical stores.

I am a bit skeptic about the use of bitcoin with all the online services such as shopping,the question we have to start asking is are we capable of seeing more transactions per day without upgrading the network and without that will it gain more popularity or more criticism about the daily usage of bitcoin.

The only thing in my opinion that can make bitcoin benefit hugely on the long run, is to make an average user to be able to pay with it.

For example if the game industry as a whole would decide that its good for their buisness perspective, to allow users to be able to pay with btc, that would be really huge. Especially that the present kid or a young person that play games is a future manager of a company or such.

When bitcoin will be implemented to school and presentation will made how they can understand it? Without knowing it very well 1-3 days isn't enough for them to learn it perfectly there brains are not yet fully develop maybe in the next generation of there life and more website can be more benefit of bitcoin that's it.

I guess my scale says it should be used by all the websites and even good and services provided offline by shops and malls. Just imagine if malls and other mega stores starts using bitcoin then it could gain huge popularity and it will also make you comfortable to buy anything because with bitcoins everything is cheap and almost reachable.

IMO more the places where bitcoin is accepted more the popularity of bitcoin will be. It's obvious that no one would want to use a currency which is only accepted on only selected websites or stores. So if more merchants start accepting it then it would surely be beneficial for bitcoin.

Agree in the sense of every aspect should be considered more adoption to happen more beneficial for bitcoin and it will help a lots toward to much easier transaction system just needed to give or provide proper knowledge.

I think the major headache of Bitcoin's operability is the lack of support from governments and central banks to accept it into their jurisdiction because they see it as competition and so I think if the president or head of state of a particular country or all countries starts promoting Bitcoin it will be the best thing among the lots listed.

You say that Bitcoin allows to effortlessly move wealth from one country to another but you don't explain how it is going to help poor countries, let alone help them more. As to me, in real life in would work in the reverse order exactly. If you have plenty of bitcoins (for whatever reason) and live in a poor country, you would likely move to a better place since, as you say, Bitcoin allows unconstrained and unrestrained flows of capital (which I basically agree with) and it is universally accepted everywhere (and still more so in richer, more advanced countries). There is no reason to stay in poverty when you can live a better life elsewhere. In other words, Bitcoin would actually make poor countries yet poorer while rich countries yet richer

Just like what is happening in Japan right now with the bitcoin craze now becoming a trend. If more shops start accepting bitcoin, more people will have more options to pay for their goods. Online shops are ok, but we are still more of physical shoppers more than anything. And if bitcoin becomes more visible to your average shopper, chances are its usage is also going to increase.

For bitcoin, you need to increase users and their good activity, but you also need to take care of the good quality of operations.

Bitcoin is not popular in all the parts of world. So first of all we should make it aware about bitcoin. For this to happen we will need advertising platform as well as free giveaways just to try how bitcoin transaction works and how freely we can handle it. I guess it would be easier to attract more number of new users by giving them some free bitcoins. Yes, I do believe free giveaways might be making more people to join into bitcoins. At the same time I am aware of the negative impact if they are all going for selling their free giveaways.

in some area where the users of bitcoin are more as compare to other areas, there the physical shops are accepting bitcoins for shopping. in some places like Brazil you can find dozens of shops who area accepting bitcoin for shopping. it is in fact depending on the number of users of bitcoin in that area.

What would benefit bitcoin more? Nothing but finally achieveing scaling consensus. The rule is simple enough - first we try to fix our own problems then we expand.
Without proper and working bitcoin network - duh, we have more than 200k unconfirmed TX, there is no way that user experience will be positive.
The best way we can do is accept Barry Silbert's proposal, which is Segwit + 2Mb Hard Fork compromise.

All bitcoin needs is more websites to use it, in the general i would try merchants if they start using bitcoin in the short time market will follow, namecheap already accept if some 10 big companie start work maybe bitcoin can reach all people.

I just decided not to go for any of the options OP has there because I feel its not just the answer with the current challenge bitcoin is facing. Of what incentive is the adoption going to come, when the prices are high already for transaction fees and with hours of confirmation still hanging. Its not enough to bring people in but to make them stay is what matters and when the challenges are overwhelming, they leave.

I think the online business industry specially the e-commerce will benefit more with bitcoin. First , bitcoin is very convinient to use and second bitcoin now is more likely to be accepted currency by more countries than any other cryptocurrency.

Just to continue to invest in it buy and sell how much as you want for it to grow in the market that the value will surpass other resources lije gold and dollars. Just continue to spread the news on how great it is as a payment processor than centralized ones like paypal, andropay, or even google's. As of now bitcoin has been rapidly progressing and has graduated fron volatility because bitcoin users use it not just to convert it to fit but to hold it for long tern investments. Lets begin in the block chain as this is the backbone of bitcoin.
The congested block chain that makes the confirmation to slow. It takes hours and the worst is it takes days before it got confirmed. Better to solve this issue first before anything else and all will follows.

I think bitcoin needs awareness campaigns first to make large number of people aware of bitcoin first. I know most you will say that people are already aware of the bitcoin but they don't know in the sense that they should really know. Bitcoin = Money that is what they think about the bitcoin but it's not like that. People must be aware of bitcoin technology and how it works for better understanding of the system. If they understand the working of bitcoin then they will preserve the bitcoin in a way they would do something precious. This is really important as this process will actually lead to the development of bitcoin itself.

So, we need have SegWit2x for SegWit + 2 MB blocksize, not need UASF just Segwit and still have issue about blocksize and can congested transaction when have a huge transaction creating. I can't understand when want Bitcoin good more in future but why still choose SegWit for replace SegWit2x >:(

Bitcoin is a currency like no other. In short it's digital money that solves many of the problems our current currencies suffer from and introduces many other uncertainties we never had to deal with before.I don't recommend putting large sums of money into it as the bubble will inevitably burst in a matter of weeks but nobody knows when exactly. But I do think it's a good idea to get familiar with the system and perhaps buy just a small amount for the experience or to support the growth of the Bitcoin eco-system.

It would probably by the use of advertisement since most of us have tv's and our home, so just by sitting and watching like for an hour we can see that it is being promoted while for the president announcing it, it will happen just once or twice from the news so not all can see it

I think the thing which will benifit Bitcoin the most is an increase in popularity. An increase in popularity can lead to a massive rise in the price of Bitcoin. An increase in popularity will increase the acceptance of Bitcoin on international level which will also aid in the growth of Bitcoin.

I think when a president or a country is abl ito successfuly integrate bitcoin into thwir economy and it worked well and it grew into many dimensions then I think that would benefit it greatly. As other countries will look to explore it and would see if they can also kntegrate it into their economy.

The biggest benefit to bitcoin is always going to be greater real world use, this could be brought about by all of those mentioned but I think the most effective would be by more sites accepting it. For example major retailers such as amazon accepting bitcoin would be absolutely huge and lead to an enormous price spike in my opinion.

I think one important thing that would benefit bitcoin you have not included and in my opinion if it starts happening , bitcoin will really go places. That agenda is that, it should officially be used to pay bills, like school fees, taxes and other forms of bills.

Where this is done, the importance of bitcoin will increase and the value will equally skyrocket but stable.

I don't think huge give away should near that list. The reason is majority don't value anything given to them for free and so, making freebies of bitcoin would not guarantee its acceptance nor usage.

School presentation would go far to benefit bitcoin. My reason is also that, things don with the support of pupils or children of school age usually get attention because the kids would either be singing a particular gingle that they heard from the seminar in the house, thus catching the attention of the parents . This is one reason that manufacturer, having catch up with this idea would always manufacture products of this level because they have already existing market for the product.

The point then is, school presentation is a good leverage for bitcoin.

Since we are on digital era and we know social media or peoples eyes are mostly on the net then advertisement would be the best choice among on the poll. We know advertisement either on offline or online is the effective way on spreading the awareness of bitcoin existence but this thing is really limited as of now since there would people would really block it.

The one thing that i can think of to benefit bitcoin is to have more people invest in it. The more investors the bitcoin get the higher the currency it will obtain. In that case it will benefit a lot of bitcoin users, it’s a win win for all.

Wooing the government of every national to endorse bitcoin will benefit bitcoiner and bitcoin more because the total world population is 7.6 billion as of October 2017 and there are 11.48 million bitcoin wallets in existence in January 2017 according to Blockchain.info while, we have  3 million active cryptocurrency users across the world. If government endorse bitcoin more people will believe in bitcoin and more investor will hop in.
