The Alpha version of the platform is ready. At onplace.io (http://onplace.io/en) and investments.onplace.io (http://investments.onplace.io), you can find examples of projects and user interface. The final platform's form will allow (basic functions):

OPL Token


1. During the ICO, OnPlace Inc. is going to sell 10.000.000 OPL Tokens for $3.000.000 in ETH. OPL Token cannot be split.

2. Before the formation of the investments portfolio in private companies OPL Token is backed by ETH amount that was purchased by the investors or ICO participant.

3. Funds raised by OnPlace ICO campaign will be used to purchase shares/stocks in the business of leading IT sector private companies. This investment presuppose the formation and professional management of a diversified investment portfolio in the business of private companies. Data on the changes, and the current value of the investments portfolio will be disclosed on the website investments.onplace.io (http://investments.onplace.io) and will be public. From the formation of the investment portfolio, and investment funds that received through the ICO in it, the OPL token is backed by the investment value in the portfolio - in USD at the exchange rate ETH/USD at the time of the portfolio formation. The price of invested OPL token will depend on the valuation change of the private company portfolio. Changes in the portfolio value will occur  - in USD.

4. At the closing portfolio, the funds of initial investments and revenues from these investments are transferred to investors by means of OPL Token acceptance through a smart contract.

5. The final cycle of the proposed contract is the payment to investors the amount equivalent to the value of the token at the time of the closing investment portfolio. Such payment in favor of the OPL Tokens holders is carried out in ETH at the rate of ETH / USD that current for the time of withdrawing portfolio funds.




OPL Tokens gives the investor in unconditional order of the right to use priority services, which include:

• OPL Tokens holders have the advantage in investments participation into private companies portfolio, and have priority right of reserving projects before standard services of other categories of investors;
  
• OPL Token – based investment is carried out without additional commissions during the initial implementation of investment into projects;
  
• Profitable income payout fee of OPL Tokens formed portfolio is setting at a minimum level (reduced by 50% in comparison with the standard securities reward rates);

Well good to know another project is going to be launched. For reading more later when I will be back to my desk I am going to keep this page in my bookmarks to not miss it as usually happens. This.  Idea is pretty good, but the team looks pretty suspect.  Noone is a developer nor has any exp in this space.  Mugshots look like they're shots for an album cover.

Why investing in companies that are already over-valuated like Uber ? You said in the video that you aim for series B/C or pre-IPO but you only list post IPO companies. Could you explain ?

If you only reward the investors in cryptos and tokens, why would they invest in stocks if the return is far far less than what they already earn in crypto ? Not to mention you take a 50% cut. Isn't it too much ?

We are not the fund, we are legally formed investment company.

Before we except cryptocurrency, investors have to register and get approved. Use of OPL token services does not require this procedure.

Company Uber is only the example, we were not planning to invest in Uber. Some of the companies that we have consider before has already came out on IPO so they are no longer an option for us, like we have stated before investments will be carried out only into series B, C and pre-IPO companies. Right now we are working on portfolio that includes: Airbnb, Spotify, Xiaomi, and unfortunately at this time the Information on other companies we can not disclose yet.

We are taken commission only from profitable return, which it is 10-15%. It is reduced by half if you'll compare it to commission of the  regular service. Here is an example: (if you get 300% of profit from your carried out investment by using OnPlace services, we will take 10-15% of your 300% gain, which will comes out for OnPlace 30-45% of commission, your net gain will be 270-255%)

Yes, some crypto currency has showed big growth for the last several months, but crypto currency is highly volatile, just like high growth it can showed significant decrease of its value. But investments in private company can show high growth annually and generate stable return. Yet again we can take for the example some of the successful companies like Uber or Xiaomi their growth on more  earlier stage  occurred from 300-700% annually.

In fact I am glad that the project and then a few people on the signature. But perhaps more people will come running and will be a lot of people. I can not find information about the ico. Interesting to read the conditions. I want to buy more coins on sale.

This is amazing project. I suggest OnPlace should increase the number of social media participants or raised the minimum followers to 1000 per account to help spread the word.
I also humbly suggest that there should be a slot alloted in signature campaign for each rank member.Without any slot, we may have all 200 spots taken by lower rank members. Lower rank members signatures are not much visible than higher rank members therefore a good combination of all ranks would be better.

1. Investors from CrowdFunder (https://www.crowdfunder.com/Onplace/invest) have a portion of OnPlace Inc. shares, and do not claim OPL tokens. OPL tokens will be available only to cryptoinvestors.

2. Of course, the amount of $3-5M will be insignificant for the formation of a large diversified investment portfolio in promising IT companies that we are forming.
Funds attracted by OnPlace Inc. in the rounds of ICO and equity crowdfunding campaigns (CrowdFunder (https://www.crowdfunder.com/Onplace/invest)) are not the only means that will be invested in private companies. By running equity crowdfunding campaign OnPlace Inc. have attracted $1M for exchange on about 2% of equity to large investors - VC funds.
In addition, we plan to capitalize our own investment fund by October 2017, which  will be used to acquire the same portfolio of private companies along with ICO funds. These funds will be attracted from large private investors which we already have preliminary agreements, for an exchange of OnPlace Inc. shares. Such additional OnPlace Inc. capital can be estimated at $7-10M.

It is the duty of signature campaign and social media participants to spread the word.Do a little bit extra that is expected.If you are required to make 10 posts a week, make 15 quality posts in different sections.Similarly social media participants can do some extra tweet, retweet, posting to spread the word.

As a wellwisher of the project, i want to suggest few things as funding is low at the moment;
1) offer 10-20% bonus for early investors or investors with more than 1 Eth investment.

Well, probably because the TC is the manager of the project, it is not the company's dev.  Therefore he can wear avatar of any company. And it is permitted to conduct the company's bounty rules.

Our CEO Evgeny Perikov in US right now, he is establishing OnPlace Inc. headquarter office in Palo Alto California, and he is negotiating with VC firm on a deal that will suits our policy. Our CFO Mikhail Gamov working on some new private companies for the portfolio. And we are also working right now on adding OPL tokens to LiveCoin exchange platform for now.

I think you don't know that the OPL are etherium based tokens so anyone can buy them on exchang,move them to any etherium wallwt like myetherwallet and due to smart contract can earn the dividend paid to all token holders

I've already sent them an ETH some time ago, which is my mistake because I didn't do proper research. Well you might have know this, but the crowdfunding is done through a smart contract so the website itself doesn't really need to ssl encrypted. Your funds are not saved on the website, they are rather saved on Ethereum blockchain.

The difference between investor and OPL holders is that an investor need to be verified and give his or her personal information. OPL holder do not need to provide their personal information because legally they are considered as service users and only OnPlace is owning stocks of private company. Although OPL holders obtaining all the privilege and getting more on profit return because of the cut down commission fee.

I checked http://investments.onplace.io/ico Yesterday and check again now. They only collected 0.7 ETH in 24 hours. I think that's enough answer for collecting money. They failed to do so. They should stick to 1 million dollars from crowdfunder. They got only 100k here.

Hi everyone, for those who are patient, we want to thank you.
We would like to bring out some clarification, just because we didn't collect money through ICO it doesn't mean that our project has failed. Funds that been collected through CrowdFunder is not an ICO and have nothing to do with these ICO there we offered OnPlace Inc. shares to investors. This particular ICO brought us needed attention from crypto society, although we haven't collected any money. It was our first ICO and we didn't have any help from real professionals, if we would have to do it all over again we would've done it differently. As of right now we have large investors who are willing to take over, and not willing to work within ICO framework.
About refund from this ICO, there's a lot of successful refund transactions, people are withdrawing with no difficulties.
About bounty campaign, our bounty manager " targetmlrd " who we hired to run our bounty showed us the agreement, and according to it we have to pay 2% of OPLs from collected amount. All the bounty participants please get a hold of him for all questions and concerns. Thank you for understanding.
Even though we spend on this ICO our own money without getting them back, we have gained a lot of precious experience.
