As much as I would like to be happy for your, this seems like a pretty blatant lie.  You refuse to post proof which is just super fishy.  Are you just trying to create hype around some coin since your in the hole so much?

The main word line " I got nem free and other cheap , I never sold a single coin"  is really cool .
Here I myself bought dgb coin about 4 months ago at the rate of 35 Satoshi and never sell even it get double to about 80 Satoshi .
I waited  for the increase and a sudden news of the segwit wallet of dgb launching made the dgb much powerful altcoin .
Today the price of the dgb is 800+satoshi/dgb , now with the help of the dgb investment I have 5000$ of btc .
So here it is our patience that made us rich with the altcoins , mostly the people sold Thier Bitcoin or altcoin when the price get down .
Here I will suggest to every new begginers that never got fear of the down in the price and never do sudden nonsense descion to make buy and sell always buy sell comfortably and with patience  .

I've said it before, but the people who get really rich are the ones who forget they have coins. That's assuming they remember how to retrieve them. Holders might crack.  Traders usually blow it.

This is a 5+ billion dollar coin. It will give Ripple a run for it's money and as a currency, it's just plain better than Ethereum and bitcoin.  As for selling that amount of coin, it will take you some time.  I'm starting to sound like a pumper now, but honestly I've been factually to the best of my ability trying to say why I believed in this coin since this post here and having my research validated is kind of nice.

If you want to know how we got NEM for "free" take a look at my post history.  Answering the same questions over and over wears on a person after awhile, lol. Today's generation expecting everything to be spoonfed to them.. use the search function. :)  If he's a multimillionaire he either bought extra XEM when it was dirt cheap or used sock puppets to get extra stakes.

You can withdraw 7k per day on Poloniex with level 2 verification and Coinbase will let you sell 15k per week.  Slow and steady as BTC rises.  I keep both of these pegged and my account balances stay the nearly the same from trading profits and BTC's rise.  ROFL.

Coinbase actually quotes a higher BTC price than Bitfinex.  Go figure.

I was in the recent 2000% Nem's bull, and even if I am far from being millionaire, I was completely bewildered by the increasing of my wealth !!
I tried hard to do my homework and to get informations about this venture, but I fail to understand well what was their business, and why the appetance for this token was so high... (I am a bit lazy ok, I know....) Indeed I am wondering if there is any ways to check the turnover generated by all those brand new [Suspicious link removed]panies.

I've seen people post images of their exchange and personal wallets with millions of dollars worth of crypto. The largest I've seen is around $56,000,000 (a Chinese girl owned the wallet - anyone else remember that?) and that was long before this bull run. I wonder what that looks like now!! (if they haven't cashed out already)

I am not familiar with  technicalities behind NEM. Can you sign a message like you can with Bitcoin or use similar functionality to prove ownership of an address?

It wasn't on an exchange. It was on something like Coinbase (some BTC wallet service). She made a video about using the service or something like that. Then at one point her balance could be seen. It was over $56,000,000. A jaw dropping moment. This was back in late 2013. BTC was at about $700-800 at the time.

How much BTC do you think the Winklevoss twins have? And the guy who bought pizza for 10,000BTC? How many do you think he has left (if he's not cashed out yet)?

Regardless its ICO bs like this that is going to burst the bubble when the SEC and regulation gets put in place. Lets just say that everyone wants to accumulate bitcoin and are not fortunate enough to enter it at the right time so what they can do is invest in an alt that could give the profits and convert it into bitcoin and that is the only possible solution we got now  and with the price of all the alt coins rising,it is a win win situation for everybody.

"The bitcoin dream" is to invest in an altcoin and become a millionaire. This started when BTC reached the $1.000 for the first time and the media started to cover it and talk about bitcoin (and then it crash). That is when some people started to buy and bet in the next "BTC". Is like in the 2000's (dot com bubble) when everyone started to build their website and many companies started to buy sites for millions.

Funny cause about 3 years ago when NEM first came out. I gave my friend .25 btc. About 100$ at the time. He put it in NEM. Found out he ended up not keeping it there. That .25 btc of NEM would be sooooooo much money. It was under 100 satoshi.

You're not a millionaire until you sell and move the cash off exchange. Until then, you're a paper millionaire, which is an entirely different beast.

I'm really new to the cryto world and it seems that it's the most insane way to get heavily rich these days by trading with coins like that.
But what I'm still not sure about is the question how do you cash out in real money after you've become a paper millionaire with your coins?
Do you need to exchange every of your coins into $ by selling it to others who take your offer? That means to me it'd take months to cash out or am I wrong with that?
Are there other ways to cash out?

the best way to do it is to find a private buyer. you don't have to screw around with exchanges and the money arrives there and then.

of all coins i'd guess only bitcoin and ethereum have professional markets like that. it's called OTC, over the counter. there are brokers who match the buyer and seller.

This. I think a lot of people trust the exchanges too much. You don't want to be a cryptomillionaire on the new Mt.Gox  ::)

You can sell a lot more than $15K if you have the right verifications and approvals on Coinbase.  I have a $250K limit on Coinbase for sales per week for example (I've never actually used anything even vaguely approaching that limit but they approved me for that amount so I could sell all my bitcoin at once if I wanted to).  If you hold a lot of bitcoin and have had an account for some time Coinbase actually gives very large limits once you do the KYC/AML stuff.  The only limit I have that's actually annoying is their stupid GDAX withdrawal limit but you can raise that as well-it's ridiculous that to transfer money between their own sites there's such a restrictive limit.

Anyone who has been SKILLFULLY trading crypto for 3-4 years should be a "millionaire" by now (though $1 million is not what it used to be).

I say that because there are a LOT of people in crypto who just got lucky (but think they are smart)...
And people who luck into wealth almost always have it stripped from them in 1000 ways.

The dotcom millionaires and multi-millionaires are interesting.

A million dollars was a big deal back in the 1990s and if that was invested in real estate it would be worth a lot today (remember that real estate prices, in most areas of the world, have skyrocketed since the 1990s).  But the documentary I remember seeing was it said a lot of those dotcom rich kids (under $10 million) lost all their money in divorces, gambling and other big expenditures (reminiscent of lottery winners).

I convert my alts/profits to btc, periodically move it to my local exchange and sell chunks over time. This is working and will continue to work imo.

I don't know how much NEM you're holding, but, without profit realization, the USDT value that you see on the Exchange does not make that much sense. You need to realize your profits.

A few thousand people received one free nemstake in 2013.

fc317c3a2641bc80 is not your xem wallet. It's probably the message your exchange (i guess poloniex) wants to be send together with some xems when deposits are made on their account.

Here this is true story because one of my friend also made collection of the free Satoshi in his yobit wallet for long time and never sold that coin because he was full of confidence that one day the price of the altcoin will increase atleast one of them , and also the two coins get jumped and he made 1300$ of btc in one year just to do nothing .

You can do it if you do not check it all the time. Buy some cheap altcoins, store it in a safe wallet and check the price only once a year. You will not be tempted to dump it and if it gets successful, you have a good profit in the end of the year.

I read a thread on reddit once that explaned what having a big fortune does to a person. You should look it up because you will need it. Basically it says if you don't invest wisely and if you start telling people you know your life will get miserable. Look if anyone will find out your life will change in a bad way. If you are interested i am willing to look it up for you and find the thread. What i remember is do not tell ANYONE you know about it, and invest so you can live off of interests. I guess you dont have to invest because your coins couldn't be in a better investement hahaha.
