Title: Easiest Ethereum Wallet To Use?
Post by: viking02 on June 07, 2017, 05:27:59 AM
I want to buy Ethereum.  I have bitcoin and i use electrum to store my bitcoins.  i find electrum pretty simple to use as i send/receive BTC with it.  I like the fact that you can restore you btc with the 12 word phrase etc.

I would like to download a wallet to store ETH where its very similar to how electrum does with bitcoin.  Can someone name me the best wallets to use to store ETH?

From what i read online, jaxx seems to be okay?  What about myethereum.org?  However someone told me they downloaded it but it took them several days to download it.  So this is the case with everyone?  I would want to download something like electrum for ethereum.  I do not want to download anything that is very complicated as im not tech savy person etc.

I use MyEtherWallet.com and it also integrates nicely with the Trezor cold storage wallet, although you do not need a Trezor to make it worth. Worth a look.

I'm using myetherwallet.com because I didn't want to download a whole lot of blockchain on my system and it's working well for me.

My comment is just similar to the people before me because i also use https://www.myetherwallet.com to store ether and other tokens.

The only problem you might have with myetherwallet is keeping your private key safely because once you lost it, you will not be able to gain access to your account any more.

Agree with all the people here, MyEthWallet is really the easiest to use one.
However, i don't recommend you to use web-based wallets at all, the reasons are obvious  ;)
I prefer Exodus, imo its the easiest one to use on a desktop platform.

Yeps, MyEtherWallet works fine; No long synchronization before you can transfer your coins and no large blockchain on your laptop.
Another advantage; If you hold Ethereum from before the hard fork you have with MyEtherWallet access to both Eth and Etc.

okay it seems everyone here seems to mention myetherwallet.

After that, which other ones would you recommend?

I like to know about jaxx.io and exodus.

I downloaded exodus wallet.  This programs look really nice... the interface etc.

But where is the password or phrase etc on this?

I do not have any ETH at the moment.  But i will definitely want ETH to be sent here.  But is there a 12 word phrase like electrum with this?  Also where is the option to put a password before you send any type of coins?  For example with electrum, if i were to send any btc, it ask for the password etc.  I do not see any of this in the options etc.  I see settings there but none of this.  Do i need to first get ETH there first to enable this?

The "Easiest" would probably be Coinbase, although I'd recommend Jaxx if you want control of your coins.

You can try to use mist wallet. But you must download the ethereum blockchain to use it. Myetherwallet has simple synchronization and friendly users. You are able to grab your private key and it will be easiest for you to store your amount on there. Its the best choice right now.

I've been using JAXX for many months. It handles 15 + coins already and have plans to
keep adding many more.
I use myetherwallet to store Ethereum ERC20 tokens mainly.

Definitively MEW (MyEtherWallet) is the easiest ETH wallet to use.

Title: Re: Easiest Ethereum Wallet To Use?
Post by: viking02 on June 08, 2017, 04:30:28 AM
I looked at myetherwallet

Go to https://www.myetherwallet.com/.
Enter a password. Do not forget it.
Click the "Generate Wallet" button.
Click the "Download"button.
This saves your encrypted keystore wallet file. Keep this safe. Back it up in multiple physically different locations.
Read the warning. If you understand it and promise not to lose your private key, click the "I understand. Continue" button.
You now have the option of printing a paper wallet, saving your raw private key, or saving a QR code of your raw private key.
If you wish, save any of these. We recommend printing your paper wallet and keeping it in a super safe location as a final backup.
Then click "Next: Save your Address"
Unlock your wallet that you just created using the file you just downloaded in order to see your address.
Your address will now be displayed, along with some other additional information. This address is what you will use to send ETH or Tokens to this account.

1.  Can someone explain the keep the encrypted keystore wallet file safe?  I dont get what this means.  I assume when you download the wallet, its already on your laptop right?

2.  When they say back it up in multiple physical different locations, can someone explain this to me?  This is an online file right?  So what do they mean by this?  You mean make a copy of it and put it in an external hard drive?  And also have one in an online cloud service like dropbox?  If not, what do they mean by this?

3.  When they mention private key, is that the password that you created?

4.  When they ask about printing a paper wallet, can someone explain this?  Do i need a printer right now connected to my laptop in order to print this paper wallet?

5.  The other options are saving your raw private key or saving a QR code of your private key.  Can someone explain me what is meant by this?

6.  I don't think i would want to print a paper wallet as i do not want to keep a copy of it in the apartment etc.  Do you guys agree/disagree with this?

7.  So there is no 12 word phrase like electrum?

8.  So if you don't keep a backup copy of this wallet and even if you know your password, that means you won't have any access to your ETH anymore?   So basically you have to make multiple backup copies of it because if you don't, and any of your copies are destroyed or loss etc... then you lose all your ETH?  For example, you have the wallet on your laptop of course.  But let say you make a copy of it on an external hard drive and thats all.  So if computer has problems and external hard drive has problems, then you lose all your ETH no matter what?  With Electrum with bitcoin, as long as you know that 12 word phrase, that is all that is needed.  Thus even if you don't have any backup copies of electrum on your external hard drive or anywhere else, well the 12 word phrase would allow you to restore your electrum with bitcoin.

Thanks all.

Web wallets are fine as long as you control your private keys, if you use a web wallet in combination with a hardware wallet like trezor or ledger nano s you will be very safe.

Web wallets are extremely dangerous when they hold the private keys for you.

In the case of myetherwallet when using it with a seed file password, and a trezor or a ledger nano s it is a very secure environment.

Answers as best I can remember:

1.  Can someone explain the keep the encrypted keystore wallet file safe?  I dont get what this means.  I assume when you download the wallet, its already on your laptop right?

Your wallet is basically an address and private key. That's it. Everything else is fluff. Basically the address is needed to send ETH to you, the private key is needed to send ETH elsewhere from that address. Think of them as an account number and security key. MyEtherWallet also generates another file which will convert your chosen password into your private key and uses this to unlock your wallet. It just an extra security step because memorising your password is easier than memorising your private key, and means you won't be copy-pasting or storing an important password

If you lose either your address or key, you're screwed. You cannot access your ETH any other way, so is is suggested to have multiple physical and digital backups in secure locations.

Quote
2.  When they say back it up in multiple physical different locations, can someone explain this to me?  This is an online file right?  So what do they mean by this?  You mean make a copy of it and put it in an external hard drive?  And also have one in an online cloud service like dropbox?  If not, what do they mean by this?

You can write or print the address and private key on paper, you can store them in a text file on a USB drive, or anywhere else you think is secure. They are offline files

Quote
3.  When they mention private key, is that the password that you created?

The private key is derived from the password you chose, but not the same

Quote
4.  When they ask about printing a paper wallet, can someone explain this?  Do i need a printer right now connected to my laptop in order to print this paper wallet?

Literally this just means printing out the address and private key, as these are all you need to use the wallet.

Quote
5.  The other options are saving your raw private key or saving a QR code of your private key.  Can someone explain me what is meant by this?

If I remember rightly, raw key is the plain text of your key and the QR code is just an image which can be scanned to reveal your key.

Quote
6.  I don't think i would want to print a paper wallet as i do not want to keep a copy of it in the apartment etc.  Do you guys agree/disagree with this?

Ultimately you are responsible for your own security. You will want a multiple backups for if your laptop dies, apartment burns down, etc. If you plan on storing online, are you comfortable with the idea that if someone gets the password for your google drive (or whatever) they'll be able to steal everything from your wallet?

Quote
7.  So there is no 12 word phrase like electrum?
Nope

Quote

In order to use your password, you MUST also have the file that goes with it and your address
If you memorise the private key instead, you do NOT need any file to go with it, just the address

Your wallet contents aren't really on your hard drive. They're online in the blockchain. What's on your hard drive is the information required to access the account. When your laptop explodes, you've lost the info you need to open it up or move funds. If you have another backup of your access info, you can still access the wallet and all it's contents.

Simply without any more analysis can easily say that myether wallet to be the best for saving ethereum. The best it has got is the saving possibility for all sorts of coins that function based on the ETH smart contracts platform and the security features is perfect.

I would like to recommend the APP named ImToken. You can download this app from the website https://token.im/
The reasons are:
1) On your mobile phone, you can use it without your computer;
2) You can manage it by backup of your keystore;
3) You can participate in some ICO project like incoming Bancor.

Everyone is for MEW here and I sort of agree with them. This is where I store some of my eth now, since ethereum-wallet was hacked. MEW is quite easy to use but it is also highly tied with anonymity, so in case you lose your privete key and a few more things - say bye-bye to your money. But that is very good as well, for it makes your money save.

I see a lot of people voting for MEW and not many mentions of Parity. Are there any real pros/cons between the two or does it just come down to what people are used to using? I'm currently using Parity and I'm fine with it (love the interface, lots of nice features as well, also a Chrome extension to function like MetaMask).

Hey all.  I downloaded the myetherwallet.  However im having a few issues and would like if someone can answer my questions.

1.  It asks for me to put a password.  What is the point of this password?

2.  It ask me to download this keystore file.  I did this.  Then i clicked continue.  However, i cannot find this file on my laptop.  Where is this?  Any file i download should always to go my downloads folder on my windows computer.  Can someone tell me where it is?

3.  I went on the part where it says

Send Ether & Tokens

And it asks how i would like to access my wallet

Keystore File
Private Key
Mnemonic Phrase
Ledger Nano S
Trezor

I clicked on keystore file.  Then it ask to select your wallet file.  I do not see this file.  Where is it located at?  The thing was after i had downloaded the keystore file... before i clicked I agree... i tried to open the file with adobe but it says error can't open it with adobe.  But not sure where the file is right now.

4.  I then clicked on private key instead.  I then copied and pasted the private key and when i did this, it seemed to go to my wallet.  So basically assuming you don't have a ledger nano s or trezor, then its basically keystore file or private key right?  Which one of these 2 do most people use?  The thing is i don't have a problem with just copy and pasting my private key to it and accessing it this way.  But i assume keystore file is what most ppl do?

5.  I read you should backup the keystore file in many places.  How many places should you back it up besides your laptop?  The thing that confuses me is if someone has your keystore file, then that means they have access to all your wallet?  So if you put it on your external hard drive and say icloud... if someone has access to it, they have access to your wallet?  But could you encrypt that file so if anyone were to access your computer, they can't open it without a password etc?  In general im guessing you should have this copy on your laptop... a backup on an external hard drive and a backup online in case something happens to your computer/hard drive etc?  It also ask if i wanted to print the wallet.  I do not have a printer.  So if i did not print it earlier, i cannot print it later on?  How important is this printed wallet?  Im confused what is the point of this.

6.  If you just had your private key that was given to you... the long password that is generated and copied it... wouldn't that be all that is needed?  For example if you put that in your keepass and that is all that is needed?  Thus you dont even need that keystore file?  Say you backup on your password on keepass and did this in few places, well does that mean your fine?  Or you always need that keystore file?  What confuses me is it says if you lose your keystore file, you lose your wallet.  But that doesn't make sense since i just logged into my wallet with my private key?

7.  Related to the 1st question.  But what is the point of that password i created in the beginning?  Is that in case i dont have my keystore file?  Im really confused what that is.

8.  What other security things should one do with this wallet?  Also is there a feature like Electrum with bitcoin where before you send ETH... you have to put a password first before you could send the bitcoin?

Thanks all.

Okay i found the UTC keystore file.  This file has to be a notepad file correct?  Thus i changed it to notepad file and that seems to work.  Also where do you guys keep the keystore file?  Thus when i click on log into your myetherwallet, when you click on it, is it on your downloads page, your desktop page?  Which one?

Another thing i want to ask is ... so basically you have to log in every single time assuming you click on different tabs?  Example i click on view on view wallet info and then put in my information.  Then when i click on send/receive ETH, i have to log in again?  So basically when you are logged into your ETH wallet, there is no option that allows you to log off or sign out?  Basically you click on view account information or click on anything else, then it logs out automatically?  That seems a bit strange.

Also want to ask another question in addition to the earlier ones above.  How much in fees does it cost to send ETH?  I see there is a gas limit so i assume thats what it is?

With electrum and btc, it costs to send btc unless you change it to no transaction fees but you dont know how long it would take for transaction to go through.  So if you were to send $100 in ETH, what are the default fees?  What about $1000?  What about $5000 etc?

Thanks all.

I use my ether wallet it easy to use and very safe because you know only the the private key to open your account and no one can open it because you only know the key. I also use coinbase this wallet also easy to use and you see the price of ethereum in this wallet because they have live graph. Dont keep your ethereum in exchanges its not safe.

Hey all.  I downloaded the myetherwallet.  However im having a few issues and would like if someone can answer my questions.

1.  It asks for me to put a password.  What is the point of this password?

This password is only needed when opening myetherwallet though the keystore file right?

2.  It ask me to download this keystore file.  I did this.  Then i clicked continue.  However, i cannot find this file on my laptop.  Where is this?  Any file i download should always to go my downloads folder on my windows computer.  Can someone tell me where it is?

I have this file.  I also sent that file to the desktop so i have 2 of these files.  Do i need to delete any of them?  The other file is in the downloads folder.  Also when i try to open either keystore file, it ask for the password.  So that means i encrypt this file correctly right?

I see this file now.

I read that its actually preferred to open it with the keystore file as oppose to the private key.  Is there a reason why?  It would be a bit quicker for me to open it via private key since it just requires me to copy and paste.  Keystore would require me to open that file and then copy and paste the password.  So curious on this.

I would like someone to answer this.  Right now i have a copy of it on my laptop and external hard drive.  I should have a copy in my icloud or other online storage site right as an online backup?

Wouldn't just having the private key be enough as long as you have that saved?  Thus the keystore file is not necessary if you make sure you backup that private key in a few places... such as on keepass and say keepass online in dropbox etc?

So if you don't have your keystore file anymore... as long as you have private key, thats good enough right?  I say this because i could access myetherwallet with just that private key.

7.  Related to the 1st question.  But what is the point of that password i created in the beginning?  Is that in case i dont have my keystore file?  Im really confused what that is.

This is basically to encrypt the wallet right?  Also when i send ETH, will it require me to type that password again when sending ETH or not?  And if so, is it the same password or is it going to be another password you going to have to create?

8.  What other security things should one do with this wallet?  Also is there a feature like Electrum with bitcoin where before you send ETH... you have to put a password first before you could send the bitcoin?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks all.

Basically the keystore is a 'safer' way to use your private key, since any thief would require both your keystore file and your password, instead of just your private key - so you're more protected against key logging or copy/paste hijacking and similar threats. You could just use the private key if that's what you prefer, it will have exactly the same end effect. If you are using this wallet frequently on an always online PC, then more security is always advisable. On the other hand if you are using it infrequently on a mostly offline PC, you may be comfortable just using the private key.

Hi all,

I have a slightly off topic question, but somebody in this thread might be able to answer me.
I downloaded recently the desktop ethereum wallet. I just couldn't download the full nod, I am missing like the last 200 blocks out of a million.
Because I am missing these, I can't access the wallet, it says wait a but until the full nod is downloaded but it never downloads fully.

Did somebody in here know what I should do or check ?

thanks!

Victor

Well for me the easiest ethereum wallet is an exchanger site, because i trade eth most of the time it saves me a lot of time and extra fee because i don't need to move my eth from address to address just to trade. I just directly used the exchanger eth account to used as my wallet then exchange from other coins vise versa.

You could also use it to store some tokens and I really like how it is.

My remark is quite recently like the general population before me since i likewise utilize https://www.myetherwallet.com to store ether and different tokens.
The main issue you may have with myetherwallet is keeping your private key securely on the grounds that once you lost it, you won't have the capacity to access your record any more

You could have seen majority of the users hold the ethereum in the myether wallet. This has provided bigger and better accessibility. Myether wallet will easily give users the highest security than other wallets. Also this wallet provides the best fee.

I first started with myetherwallet which is a very simple one to use. Then I tried jaxx which is also good with more feature. The last, I've been using Mist wallet for 1 month and I'm still discovering it.

As long as you keep your private key, there is no important difference between eth wallets, I think.

I also recommend that myetherwallet.com and it also has an app in goolgle play store if you wanted to, it is less hassle than browsing it in the internet. But I rather use in the browser than the app beacuse the app consumes storage space on my phone but if I use on the browser no more storage waster.

I also used MyEtherWallet  because on trading it much more easy and reliable to handle. It does not have hard and complicated mechanic for you to use it, it just a normal wallet with an ease of using it. And it worth because if you want easy trading it much suggestible for those who don't want to hold much rather trade more.

I only try this etherwallet but i do not yet invested in ethereum, i just wait for my target amount of eth before i buy.
And also i do not think etherwallet which downloaded into apps store is legit, there is not private key for the security of my coin or i do not know how to set up the security key.

The last time I (almost) buy ethereum, I had to learn how to download a wallet for the thing in order to save the tokens safely on my computer and not on some exchange, and I ended up using Parity. The design is nice and it synced pretty fast. Too bad recently I saw there was some sort of glitch to it or some kind of exploit. Anyway I never ended up buying any ETH so im not worried. If they fixed it I would use it again.

The full Ethereum node simply sucks, you will never be able to download the damn chain.

I never looked into myethereumwallet but I guess thats another option, but for long term storage I wouldn't use that.

I do not want to download anything that is very complicated as im not tech savy person etc.
myetherwallet.com is good and easy to use. without download and no need word phrase. its just save for privatekey to login and transaction

It's safe and secure and as a MEW user we have to be aware of many times that other users that has been hacked. We need to take a look on the website address carefully as most of us are too lazy for checking that thing. This has been warned for many times and yet there are still some users probably newbies that are keep on complaining that their MEW has been hacked but the fault is they didn't checked it out that they logged in through a phishing site.

Well that's true some newbies using myether wallet mostly experienced those scenario. Despite of how easy for this type of wallet to use, the vulnerability of being hacked is always there because of the human error or the mis handling of its security key, which isn't intended to be publicly submitted to application form like airdrops or some bounty campaigns. Laziness of a new person is big factor why ot happend, that's why its very important to deeply check every moment you been dead with different sites and always think for the safety of your asset specially if you're an investor of an ico.

It's even secure as long you don't store your key in the wrong place such as your email inbox where it's prone to be hacked.

And it's handy to store all the ERC-20 tokens there in once place.

You are right. My etherwallet is the easiest eth wallet. You  can sfe json file and keep your pasword. Json file is for opening in other hardware. If you have no json and pasword  you can't open your wallet. PV key is used to recover the lost file and pasword. Don't open your wallet with pv key because it is not secure.

Myetherwallet is used by hundred of thousands of Cryptocurrency users around the world so if there's any wallets that could be use as an alternative then it's fine and I have no reason to argue with them but the fact that a wallet is more safe and secure then I'll still go and choose myetherwallet to handle my coins in just a single wallet.

Mew is easiest wallet to use .

The easiest, the more convenient, it is safe and secure and if you handle it very carefully then you can access your coins anytime through desktop or your phone.
Some wallets nowadays can only be accessed with a phone so that feels uncomfortable.

you should download the ethereum blockchain to utilize it. Myetherwallet has basic synchronization and neighborly clients. You can get your private key and it will be most straightforward for you to store your sum on there. It is the most ideal path in light of the fact that there is bunches of approach to secure your record Keystore Document (UTC/JSON) ,Private Key, Record Nano S,TREZOR even some more method to ensure and get to your wallet . And keeping in mind that making wallet they take vow from you not to misfortune your private key.

Yes and can feel better because private key is safe and no one has a partner or the same private key. You can access easily by putting your private key. Make sure you handle your private key with care.

You can use the lightweight wallet on the phone with the imtoken, which currently has a large number of users and the Ui of the wallet is doing quite well.

Myetherwallet, I think, is the best ethereum wallet out there right now. But I cannot say that it is the easiest wallet to use, you must be familiar first with tokens and crypto to smoothly use the wallet. The "gas" or transaction fee can be very flexible as well like that of electrum where you can choose how much you are going to pay the blockchain for the speed of the transaction you are going to have. If you can comply with these, which are sort of simple enough for people that are really into crypto, then myetherwallet is the best ethereum wallet for you and for everyone that needs one.

I think the easiest ethereum wallet to use is myetherwallet.com because you can easily make wallet and you don't have to download it. Myetherwallet is use by most of people who hold ERC20 based tokens. I also use it to hold my eth and my tokens and I found it easy and safe but it was prone to phishers so be aware. If you want to use it be sure you are in the right website so you will not lose your tokens. It was an easy and user friendly wallet so no need to worry when using it. If you want an online wallet and don't want to download your wallet, use myetherwallet but don't forget to save your key.

Myetherwallet and metamask is the easiest to use if you don't want to download anything and it's easy to add custom token in it. You can also use imtoken as it gives you notifications if there is new token incoming. But my vote goes to metamask as it's safer than Myetherwallet and can notify you if the site you're using is phising site.

I consider wallets with personal apps more safer than the ones on the websites like myethereum.org .
The ETH wallet that I use and would recommend you is coinbase , you can have this app from playstore , you can even keep BTC and LTC in the wallet, it has a dashboard displaying the valuegraph of different crptos , comparatively it is the safest and also not to forget user-friendly wallet.

Has most people has said I am also using myether wallet and it is safe and secure in its applicability, you can also do your research about its pros also and make your decision on which wallet to use.

That's the right way of calling it, it's a human error that other users are being hacked because of negligence and for not being aware that there are too many people that has been hacked with their MEW account before. I don't blame those people which you are calling as a lazy one, they really don't know that these hacks are happening. It's either they are illiterate and still lack of experience.

I guess mew is the best ethereum wallet in crypto currency, hacking of wallet was depends on how we secured it. If they were used our wallet right it is impossible to steal by Intruders. And as for MEW, just bookmark it and make sure that you are the only one that controls the private keys or the JSON file of your wallet. Don't give it to others or to anyone that you really don't know.

As a neophyte to crypto-community, ERC20 Compliant token wallet would be MEW (myetherwallet.org) .
You can find more tutorial fort his wallet in youtube.
All you need to do is watch and see how it was done.

You just have to secure your Private key, it was the most important for it was the main security in your wallet access.

Everybody using MEW simple because technologically this type of blockchain altcoin cannot run smoothly on user's computers. Hard wallets simply are not synchronizing consistently. Even if you have new hardware it does guarantee you a smooth work. For today Ethereum-type of crypto can supply users with good "home wallet" only for the cost of PoW.

If you are gonna talked about the most convenient wallet and the easiest wallet to used if you are gonna hold some ethereum you are talking about the myetherwallet.com because from the name itself ether it is obviously pertaining into ethereum so that is the best wallet that suits the ethereum holders. Personally for me, Myetherwallet or the Metamask plugin are the best options for storing your coins. Well, many have already said so.
I prefer to combine them, because I use several wallets for my tasks. In addition, many services, as well as the etherdelta exchange automatically picks up this plug-in.

You have to choose between safety and simplicity. Myetherwallet is the easiest.
If you need safety - buy hardwallet.

Most here said that myetherwallet.com is the easiest ETH wallet to use and I can say that I agree with them too because I am using it and so far its good because it can connect with hardware wallet too. There are others that are good ETH wallet too like jaxx, exodus, metamask.

It is the coolest feature of myetherwallet that we can use it integrated with an hardware wallet. in my example I'm using ledger nano which I'm really happy. Exodus is also not bad but other suggestions I didn't use it before.

For me and also my friends in this organization suggest to use myetherwallet. In this myetherwallet you can easily view all your altcoins and eth as well. It is really good to store your coins there. But it is too risky though. It is easy but risky I may say. You should protect and keep you private key always. Sometimes you can exchange or switch those but please do not. Always think smart before you put your information.

Why don't you just use MyEtherWallet? Most people use it and it can store all kinds of ERC20 compatible tokens. It is also really simple when used along with MetaMask. Would highly recommend you to try it out. Been using for over 8 months, no issues.

MEW is great for cold storage security and usability. It can also hold any ERC20 token which is great. If you want to interact with the ethereum network I suggest also getting Metamask and it works with any Ethereum compatible website including MEW (myetherwallet).

I choose  MyEtherWallet, it's very easy to use and great for ether. The wallet is more secure because of its long closed key. I recommend to look at it.

I registered MEW and MetaMask but currently using only MetaMask as the GUI looks user-friendly. Well, tutorials before creating wallet on MEW was really helpful to understand crypto wallet scheme.

Myetherwallet.com is the main choice and all say it. High security makes you not worry, so many options for securing like software and others. And there's no denying that someday there will be new innovations to be myetherwallet.com competitor.

For most users of cryptocurrencies , and in this forum , mostly recommended is the myetherwallet because most of the bounty campaigns are using etherium as their main coin in buying their tokens. And most are using etherium also in trading altcoins . Myetherwallet is secure because you are the one who will keep your private keys , you can also do swapping in myetherwallet from etherium to bitcoin directly to your bitcoin wallet.

I personally use MEW.  It's very simple to use and has all the features you need.  Keep your private key safe and secure and your computer virus and hacker free and you will never have a problem.  I have run 1,000's of transactions with MEW.  No issues.

In my opinion the easiest ethereum wallet I've used is Myetherwallet, besides being easy to use to send ethereum, with Myetherwallet can also be used to find stored tokens, you can try it and feel the perfect experience.

My choice is myetherwallet. It's too easy to use, extremely convinient and trade faster. But, you should consider causing it has low security and it allow only a fixed address for all transactions.
