Thank you for your interest in the project, MobileGo was a great addition into the gaming industry, however, they are only touching the surface by creating a Mobile store in which you can purchase games using MGO. The Tap Coin looks to essentially provide a way of "earning" Tap Coins by playing video. Those Tap Coins can be transferred to other games, platforms or exchanged online into a fiat currency. I cant seem to find any explanation of the technical aspects of the project, meaning what work has actually gone so far in terms of tech dev?
The roadmap also quite vague and doesnt give any dates, as you say this has been worked on for years was hoping for a bit more detail?!

We are hoping to have the bounty program starting within the next couple days stay tuned!

Thank you for the questions, we hope we can answer a few. The TTT token distribution script is completed and we are waiting to upload it to our Smart contract page on our website. Additionally, we have created another public github page to display our Tap Platform that we will be using to test during alpha stages. There you will be able to see regular commits and updates. Great question. First blood (1st) is the lead on playing e sports games (competitions) and earning 1st tokens for wins. They have  set up a platform on judges and monitors to record each win to ensure the victor is given 1st tokens. The tap coin, however, allows gamers to trade in their digital game currency for  Tap coins (TTT), these TTT can then be transfered to other games on the tap platform thus growing your wallet as you continue to play :)

Just for purposse of the contract all funds will be deposited into a multi signature wallet and Tap coins will be issued immediately upon deposit.  Additionally, a return code is embedded into the crowdsale. Essentially the ethereum network and multisig contracts act as escrow

They are planning to create their own currency for gaming community. Let's say if i have a Tap Token, i can use it to buy Steam Wallet. Or if i buy a pc game i can use it to purchase. The only difference here is , in-game currency can't be easily exchanged into real fiat money. That's what Tap coin is use for. To serve as a currency. I don't know if any game would agree to this. Their current system is you put your money in, you can't get out.

You are correct about the use of Tap Coin. However, one of the interesting things is the great response we have received from developers and their interest in participating. For them it increases a thing called, Live ops. And that the re-play-ability of their games. Yes, it removes their virtual currency from their games BUT it brings users back if they know they can earn Tap Coins.

I would do the German translation. Have been doing reliable work for other projects before.
But 2500 TTT for a full translation? That's less than 0,01% of the total distributed bounty tokens. In other words: Dust! Especially considering the total supply of 1.500.000.000 TTT

Here is my in-depth analysis of your translation bounty:
According to your webpage your team has only three members? 30% of tokens for your team = 450.000.000 TTT -> 150.000.000 tokens per member. That's 60000x times more than a translation that takes about 3 - 5h. So your payment equals 240.000 hours or 10.000 days of translation work. That's 27.4 years of non-stop translation work. Obviously as a devolper you should get paid more, let's say by a factor of 2.7x. So the developer reward of 150.000.000 TTT is still equivalent of 10 years non-stop work, or, if we think about a 40h work schedule per week with no vacation, you had to work 50 years!
In other words: Your current 2.500 TTT payment for the translation is waaaay too low.
btw: that was some fun math.

For the twitter campaign, yes any tweets, replies, posts using #tapcoin, allows us to filter quite easily and ensure participants get paid out. When you mention the table of participants, what did you assume the table will show, usernames and promotions? Let us know what you believe the table should show and we will have it posted.

This coin is not based on one game, it is designed to be used across different games and platforms. Tap Coin will partner with game developers to add Tap Coin as a feature to their game, an incentive. Players will be rewarded for achievements, levels, anything the developers want to reward. Are you crazy? The dev has said if their ICO delayed until Q4 2017, go search on google if you don't know what is Q4. They also mentioned you can find further information in the link he gave instead asking them on here.

What makes this any different or better than MobileGO? A currency which offers to do the exact same thing, but unlike Tapcoin, already has a working project and a $53 million advertisement fund to ensure usage and adoption? Why should anyone buy into a clone?

It is very boring to have a monopolize business. So it should have more competitors for the consumers to be able to choose what is the best. It will also drive developers to enhance their respective products. In real world you cant have just McDonalds offering fast food chains there are thousands of them .

Great question! Although MobileGo is great for the gaming and crypto space , it is very different then the Tap Coin. MobileGo aims to provide a market place where you can purchase mobile, pc, and console games using their MGO tokens. These games were already on their GAME marketplace. TapCoin aims to "pay" gamers to play games. Allowing gamers to convert their in game currency into TapCoins, transfer them to other games, and exchange into fiat currencies. So although we are in the same space, none are honing in on what the Tap Project will do

Being first to market is an advantage but its not the most important one. The key is always going to be the team and the ability to execute the vision. We are the only coin actively working to provide benefits to both developers and gamers. We are actively talking with and partnering with developers about what we can deliver and how they can best utilize Tap Coin in their projects. I think of all the coins and tokens out there, how many teams actively seek feedback from the people that will ultimately use their coin? Tap Coin will be a part of the game, bringing in new players. social media promotion, and increasing replayability. When a developer approaches us and says they have trouble getting beta testers we have a solution for them. When they want the community to develop new maps and content, we have a way to reward the community with something they actually want (a currency that can be exchanged on a real exchange with actual liquidity).

You have coins that are rewarding E League players, compensating players for skins, and providing a platform for Indie game developers to post their new games. I think all of these are great ideas, but they are fundamentally different from Tap Coin. We are the only coin working to actually reward the developers and the gamers, working to provide the balance that benefits everyone. In addition, Hugh one of our co-founders is working to educate people on how to develop their own tokens and Dapps on the Ethereum blockchain.

We are open to criticism and are constantly evolving. There is room in gaming for several coins and tokens, but the best one will ultimately give everyone involved in gaming a reason to use it. That is what we are creating. We hope to educate others along the way, and we hope that the community will provide us the guidance and honest feedback we need to exceed your expectations.

You guys should launch a demo of the platform before the pre-ico + announce that there will be some exchanges for this token. You can be sure there will be a lot of investors.

Start with a small easy exchange like Cryptopia, build up the community. Get the volume and then go to the bigger once. Dont make promises you will be on huge exchanges, start small, this is a new project and needs to build.

This project will be huge if we gave it some time!! :D :D

Ive been rading about ICOs for last couple of days and found this one very interesting. It seems to me that it will be the great one, just dont rush. Be patient and take time on develpoing project. Good developed project is, in my opinion, one of most immportant things in ICO (it shows seriousnss of crew behind project). Good luck and hope the community will recognze it. I will definitely keep my atention on it!

If you need translation to croatian I can do it. Croatian language is very simmilar to others languages from former Yugoslavia region (Slovenian, Serbian, Bosnian...) so it will be also understandable to them.

There are a few ways that the Tap Coin works. Firstly, to use the Tap Platform and gain access to games, contributors must hold over 5000 TTT.
Secondly, being a Tap Community Partner and holding between 65,000 TTT and 249,000 TTT gives contributors access to the Tap Coin Proof of stake concept and drip bonus. platform users in this category will be provided a .10% daily drip bonus* of TTT for one year, in addition to their earned Tap Coins for playing.

Tap Coin Contribution Recap

Block #4339820 kicked off a great Crowdsale for the Tap Project and the Tap Coin. With close to 600 transactions, approximately 1200 ETH, was contributed to the project and the vision of the Tap Coin. With that being said the team would like to thank all those that were able to support the project in the foreground and behind the scenes. We know that a long journey lays ahead and the team is ready to take on any obstacles that may come. As history states, with change and disruption comes resistance, and that is to be expected.

Contribution Recap

On October 5th we launched the early contribution period which gave supports the ability to receive a 30% bonus before our ICO. A week later we completed our early contribution period and surpassed 50% of our soft cap goal. We released our Conceptual Alpha and received an amazing response and feedback.

Users were able to create an account, view games on the marketplace, add games to their favorites, and most importantly test out the functionality of the Tap Coin. This allowed users to go into the selected games in the marketplace and input the amount of Premium or Earned Currency they have in those games, showing the Tap Coin valued outcome.

A few days prior to the end of our initial contribution period, we reached our 400K soft cap and the funds were unlocked for the project. Upon doing so the community requested a month long extension to use the funds for marketing and put the project on the map. We implemented the Tap Project Improvement Plan and asked the community if they had any feedback in regards to the contribution period. We brought all feedback to the team and had lengthy meetings and discussions about them. As a result, we lowered the hardcap and implemented a month extension with a waterfall bonus structure. With the month extension we wanted to ensure that those who contributed during the early contribution period were compensated for their early support and belief in the project. With that, we initiated a manual 50% retroactive bonus for those supporters, which was well received by the community.

During our ICO the Ethereum Network became bogged down and congested due to a recent product launch on the network. Thus we implemented an increased gas price of 50Wei.

Rise in Ethereum Price
Throughout our ICO we were faced with one major change, the price of Ethereum. When we first started our early contribution, ETH/USD pricing was approximately $300. However, during our contribution period, the crypto community saw ETH rise as high as $1600 within 2 months. Seeing as our price was fixed to ETH, the TTT to ETH ratio remained consistant throughout despite the rise in ETH pricing. Towards the end of our contribution we saw our ETH contributions decrease, but our USD value remained consistent.

As you notice in the rules the the maximum amount that can be earned from twitter is 5000, however, the sheets kept track of all tweets in order to give out a bonus at the end, therefore you recieved bonus for being someone with a higher than avg amount of tweets.
