Almost all products nowadays are made in China? is it a good thing or not?

China is producing a lot of electronic items these days. The reason for that is most of these industries are very polluting ones and China offers them the freedom to ignore the regulations. Anyway, quality-wise, the Chinese products are good.

It's cheap to produce merchandise there. And yes, we can trust their quality, they have improved in the last years.

Probably because they are producing good stuff at cheaper prices?

Everything is made in China right now for two reasons. One, they have spent a lot of capital developing factory infrastructure for fabrication. Two, the major reason, is that labor is pretty much fucking free in China. With all that population, the labor market is sodden; the lack of regulation also allows companies to operate with much less capital outlay. Regulations are expensive, what with keeping your environment and workers safe. Fuck that noise, said China, and hence we have a million plastic things that are sold at Walmart and discount stores :)

And it's not just China, it's where ever in the world you have too many people, not enough jobs, and no government oversight of major industry. There was a time when it seemed like all the clothes were 'hecho en Mexico,', and Cambodia and India used to make a great deal of textile shit for the American market. This was like 15 years ago however, and I don't have nice things ;)

To be fair, China makes some innovative and useful shit. And the phone I'm typing this on is undoubtedly..

First of, China's man power is really huge due to it's population. Second, The cost of raw materials and the labor cost in china is very cheap. The main objective of the company is to earn, to do that they must find a way to cut off their expenses. That's why Big Companies/Corporation loved to tie up or to venture with a Chinese manufacturer.

We can trust some of these products, just be cautious on buying this. There are Pros and Cons on products made in China.
Pros:
1. Yes, These products are cheap;
Cons:
1. but some manufacturer tend to use some chemicals to maximize their production especially Toys, Apparels, food and etc. which is Hazardous and very much dangerous to health.
Pros:
2. Availability of the items, China made products are everywhere;
Cons:
2. Low Quality of the products. Due to mass production, they must meet the quota by sacrificing the quality.

The reason why all products are made in china is the labor cost. Labor cast in china is very low and man power is high which is an advantage for larger companies to save some money. China actually built all qualities of products from third quality to high quality and then they distribute the product according to market.

Don't say all because we can still find some things that aren't made in China, but most useful things that are cheap are made in China specially some helpful tools that are quite good to use so it is a good thing. I personally use some items made in China, a solar powered lamp made in China that I am usinh for a few years now and it is still working fine, even my electric fan that was bought 1 year ago and is made in China is pretty durable and is still running in a pretty good condition, so I trust the quality of China's products.

china already gain popularity for investors since they really offer cheap workforce and even they doing that they still manage to make quality products and its good value for their investors as far as we can see that the product was made properly its still good to buy.

If 80% of a certain kind of product is made in China, they will want to make it a better quality product than the countries that make up the other 20%. So yes, the quality has gotten better over the years.

The quality of the planet however is a whole other issue.

The quality of the products has improved slightly and they can be purchased at a low price. I do not see anything wrong or good in this, everyone chooses the manufacturer that he likes best.

China has a huge industrial base and population with cheap labor. They produce a large amount of product.

It's not that everything china makes have same quality. The best way to know a product is test it. Whether yourself or others.

Right now the Chinese are making rice made with plastic and sending then to Africa for people to buy and eat, Products made by the Chinese in China are mostly of inferior quality. I wouldn't recommend their products one bit.

There are products which are produced officially licensed for certified equipment with the use of cheap labor, and there are products that are produced illegally. This is the real shit, but it's very cheap and therefore always finds its buyers.

Because of the overwhelmingly large population, they can afford to keep wages down. You complain, you get replaced by someone else. Besides, it's not like they can even complain. It's not even pretending to be a democracy, right? The people have no say on how things are.

I still read reviews before placing an order. If it is too cheap, there must be a reason.

The freakin huge population, no doubt is the main reason for this. Labor is so freakin cheap, companies moved their manufacturing to China. I still find the laxer regulation scary though. I still remember the melamine-tainted infant formula, the Cold War era chicken feet, the toxic pet food.

As others have said, it is because of the cheap labor their.China's recent growth is in fact attributable to capital investment that has made the country more productive. In other words, new machinery, better technology, and more investment in infrastructure have helped to raise output. I think the population has shifted more from agriculture to non agricultural businesses in rural areas. Also, By welcoming foreign investment, China's open-door policy has added power to the economic transformation.

But personally, I'm very cautious of everything that is coming out of China. I stop buying stuffs coming from there and I'm very choosy, specially can foods. And they can absolutely fake or imitate anything.

Plastic rice is just a myth. No one can make rice out of plastic. The so called "plastic rice" is actually heavily contaminated rice, which contains a lot of chemical and industrial residue. The chemicals present in it makes it looks like plastic.

And not all the Chinese products are bad in quality. Chinese companies such as Lennovo and Xiaomi are capable of producing high quality products.

Business is business, and with that profit is a must to every product that your company is selling to the end user.

But in every product that is made you need a man power cost and China have a lot of man power to that because the more people that needs a job the less salaries that will be given by the employer to accomodate thieir expenses.

Plus electricity in China is much more lesser compare to other countries and with that I think industrial comapanies is maximizing there.

Most of the products are mass produced in China due to the fact that labor is cheaper there and there will be no shortages in manpower whatsoever because of their large population. China is focusing in manufacturing these days as we can see in our daily used objects, plates, glasses, watches, phones, name it they have it.

Regarding trust, hmmmm, just review and check the products first just to ensure that the money spent on buying them is well spent. There are quality products that are China made but we can't ignore the fact that there are also not so good items. It's your call.

Yes indeed now many products are made in China because they have the infrastructure, completeness of materials, industry players, and highly competitive labor. With the support and completeness, especially low cost work, many accessories industry from many parts of the world, manufacturing products in China. They just simply design it. I think that makes a lot of products made in China. But no need to worry about the quality because now the products made in China the quality is also good and can compete with other product quality. Like the electronic devices that are made in China now has advanced features and good quality, so no need to worry.

Even over here most products we use is coning from China and its because of how they have developed themselves. Although products from there are sometimes synonymous to inferior quality but this has been discovered to be in connivance with unscrupulous businessmen who wants to make profit by all means. Also, there is option as to whether to buy or not and if you not comfortable with third products, by from somewhere else but be ready to pay more.

Chinese products have improved noticeably recently and I think this is a very good opportunity to buy quality items at a low price.

Now? It's not now they are active in that in last 15 years, what ever you need you can find it on Chinese market, they have everything from needle to a plain I believe. In the same moment when this markets appeared, also couple Chinese restaurants started to work, and they are not bad at all, I like some food there. Things from plastic and little electronic are the cheapest there, and I visit them when ever I need something, for some things they are double cheaper then others but also quality is not always in some high level, well we can't have both.

,I don't see any problem if they are producing so many products at a very low price, besides its business so we can't interfere for those transactions. Aside from they also offer some good products some of it also are bad ones, maybe it is accepted to everyones country as long as they paid the price or their taxes, this is my opinion.

The difference between a cheap product made in China and an expensive, high quality one, is the quality of materials. Some giants of the industry are using the same facilities to assemble their products as those crappy ones that you buy in poundland.
Take motorcycle companies like Yamaha or Kawasaki, they have moved some of their production to China because it's cheaper. Now the same factories are producing cheap Chinese mopeds that go for $500 and Japanese motorcycles worth $5000 each. The difference is in the parts. The cheap ones have plastics that crack and cheap alloys for the engine that wear off fast, but the people assembling them are the same.

Capitalism incentivises:

-Companies to earn as much profit as possible.
-Consumers to pay as little as possible.

To produce the cheap product that the company wants, they can't use places where there are decent human rights and worker conditions, so they go wherever they can pay the least to produce their product.  In a lot of cases, this is China.

So long as you trust that the company gave those workers decent resources to work with, you can trust that the product is fine. 

However, it doesn't tend to be ethical consumption, and that's basically impossible under capitalism.

Really the quality of Chinese products is constantly improving, but you can't ignore the fact that quality product from China is constantly increasing the price. It may happen that soon manufacturers will start to leave China and we will see another economic miracle, but in another country.

Maybe not all products are made in china. But the owners of the products that most Chinese people change the writing made by china. There is one case in my place, not China, but another country. The product is made here, then sent to the origin of the owner, then written by the country and then distributed to the world. So, maybe also made by China, but made in other countries.

Lenovo? Wasn't that the company accused of loading their smartphones with pre-installed malware? :D

Maybe Chinese products are of very high quality and can be trusted on average most of the products are examples of hp china.

Not all products from China cannot be trusted as it all depends on the manufacturer. China has been the center of major productions by manufacturers due to high level of industrial technology and cheaper production cost. It now depends on the manufacturer to decide if they are going for inferior or superior materials for their products which has nothing to do with China.  After all,  Apple products are compiled in China.

Some may call it being smart, some are calling it the cheap work force, from ancient times there were people like them, 200 years ago black people in America, 2500, 5000 years ago Egyptians and Roman empire and Greece. slaves just different brand, color and faces. if they don't work for cheap they will die simple.

Im not sure if this si a good thing since china products are notorious for their quality. The fact that they keep on manufacturing in bulk i think compromises the quality of their products. I'm not really comfortable of buying anything chinese :l

Most of the products were crap a long time ago, they eventually increased the quality and price by lower their environmental standard and also through the number of employees there are with cheap labor cost, then reinvesting the profits into government owned assets and property creating a cheap labor, reinvesting into the country loop which money cannot easily escape from.
Whether the global dependence on Cheap goods from China is a good thing or not depends on a personal view to Free Trade and Global interdependence as a viewpoint of peace or control over other countries citizenry.

Most of the people nowadays were using the product of the china. Because it must cheaper than the other product. Some of products of china are good but many of them is not. I think they prefer Quantity than quality.

most products are made in china because they have more factories, man power and cheaper manufacturing cost. that is why companies would do the manufacturing there. Even known brands and big companies have their products manufactured in china. as to whether it is a good thing or not, well, if we are talking about the quality, i guess we all have an experience of china products. Most have a very short life span. if we are talking about economy, it is good for the business sector. it is also good for china since it will provide employment. But there are always negative side of it. Economy, exports, imports and etc. should have balance.

Labor cost is actually cheaper in asian nations south of china.
That is the nr. 1 reason why corporations are moving away from china, i.e. samsung and formosa steel to vietnam etc. Pp.

Yes I believe most productions that are taking place in China in recent time is as a result of the company in who owns the products most time want to maximize higher profit by reducing the cost of production. This is so because the cost of labour is very cheap in China as compared to the original country of production. Now you can find so many Italian products that are now made in China because the company in question want to make high return on their investment.

It is a good thing for people outside of China, but not there. The air quality is horrible because of the over population and lack of laws/enforced laws of EPA regulations. I do not think mcdondalds or walmart would see as much economic growth if they could not outsource their labor for products for pennies on the dollar

Years ago probably no. But I believe their quality is improving by leaps and bounds. There're some electronic goods, for example, are mostly made in China and I've found their quality to be more than satisfactory.

I'm sure there're still manfacturers who care less about quality, as you can find almost in any other country, but I don't think people associate products from China to be of inferior quality anymore.

China has produced many things and it's expanded last years. The products are more  cheaper and this is because of strong and multi-skilled manpower and of course the low quality.There is no doubt that everything that is made in China (except the electronic devices) ιt is not preferred and has a bad reputation,but at least is the best solution for people with low budget.

If the Chinese products are all of bad quality, then the people would never purchase them. The advantage with the Chinese products is that they are extremely affordable, and at the same time the quality is OK. You can't expect the quality which you may get from a Japanese product for a Chinese product. But as long as we can use them for 2-3 years, people will have no issues in buying them.

Some products made from china are all substandards specially with not well known brands that are much cheaper compared to original products toys imported from china are sometimes lead content that is harmful to our health..we must double check before using products from china to avoid problems.

No i do not trust chinese product because it is a useless product and a very cheap product. Chinese are very wise person all over the world they sell low class product at the higher price. Dont trust chinese.

I;m not impressed by chinese products especially when it comes to technology it is low quality, in toys some of the toy that made in china is toxic that can affect the health of the children using it. Maybe they have some good quality products but i don't know what that is maybe because im not interested because of bad reviews.

It is wrong to say that the Chinese products are of poor quality. I am using a Xiaomi smartphone right now, and it is working perfectly fine. It won't be as good as the Apple iPhone, but it comes quite close. And if you look at the price, then an iPhone with similar specifications is going to cost at least 6 times more than this Xiaomi phone.

Well I don't know for most of the products but mainly electronics are working well. Motherboards, graphic cards, power supplies and processors are all made in china nowadays and I don't see any problem with them so far. It depends though as China has many qualities , they start from the cheapest ones marketed to poor people and they raise up their games to different levels until they reach the top quality. There are top quality products from China too.

Chinese products are cheap but quality-wise they're ok ok. Their products are cheap because they don't follow any strict regulations on making of electronics. It'll affect their life, in fact, it's already affecting. Their pollution level is too high and China is becoming the worst places to live.

They don't follow the environment regulations, and that's why they are cheap. But things are changing now. Many of the Chinese provinces are enforcing the regulations, so the manufacturing units are shifting to other countries, such as Myanmar and Cambodia.

Yes, nowadays we can trust chinese products. The quality has improved.

For me, it does not matter whether a product or thing is made from the other country, were it branded or class A.  It is in the hand of the user how long will it last.  China was really good in imitating things especially with branded products.  But if you really have a money to buy, buy the original one because for sure, it will last.

China is notorious for low quality mass production of any products. We've seen them have fake versions of pretty much anything from clothing to food to electonics to whatever have you. I'm not really sure if that's a good.thing.

On my opinion most products are made in China because China's man power is above million and they make products fast. That's one of the reason why China's product quality is too poor.

It is about the brand. There are a lot of good brands in China, including Lennovo, Xiaomi, Gionee, Hisense.etc. These brands are quite famous all over the globe and they are very concerned about maintaining and improving the quality.

Of course with a low cost, China more freely to fix the selling price of their products. In fact they started trying to exploit upscale market to get higher value activity.Bank World noted that China was struggling since the mid 90's decade. The third advantage of China's economy is the huge market demand. Factories in Asia are gaining huge share with higher margins and in customer service.At the same time, China's demand to strengthen the supply chain in various countries in Asia. Quality of quality is no doubt.

Majority of Electronics products, Gadgets, shoes. garments. are made in china. can we trust it? ofcourse because we dont have a choice. i check my Laptop its says assemble in china :) so we are living in the generation where everything is made in china

Most gadgets are made in China just because the labor force there is cheaper than most countries. It is also their way wherein investors are constantly going inside their economy as most ceo have more investments in China. I guess we can trust them in terms of their gadgets and other companies outsourcing them.

its both good and bad. Electronics are good but food made from there tend to have extra ingredient(chemical) to boost production and many other reason, that may harm ones health.

When you consider the products owned by reliable and reputable global brands, of course you can trust. When a company builds a factory it carries it's quality to that site too. Since it is their reputation anyway. As many others stated, there is cheap workforce there which will lower their capital expenses so their profit. Salaries in europe is way high to prevent them to keep their prices low because of the operational expenses. In order to be compatible they need to lower the expenses.

On the other hand, I would be very careful when buying a product owned by a Chinese brand. Make sure that the company is on production for decades. You would search the internet and see if the people bought that product are satisfied or not.

Basically, most of the electronic goods are made in china for the following reasons , cheap labour, favourable trade agreements with other countries, electronic goods are more in china. Also, goods which are made in china is not orginal they are the Chinese version which has the same features and in a cheaper price compared to orginal ones.

About the comparison with the original products with the Chinese replica, I disagree with you. The quality of these products is that they are impossible to compare. But many people are willing to sacrifice their safety for the sake of economy.

China has become the giant of the world and most Economic activities are moving there. In china you can easily get cheap labour and raw materials. Even most of the designers like Gucci, Prada, Versace e.t.c has factory now in china.

Why not? Chances are even your keyboard, that you used to type the message, components if not the whole keyboard is made in China.

Some of these factories are relocating to other countries such as Cambodia and the Philippines. Recently, the Chinese authorities have taken a tough stance against the slavery like conditions which exist inside these factories. The wages are also going up. So, many of the owners are packing up their belongings and shifting to countries where slave labor supply is still available.

In our marker mostly of most things is from China and quality is good if producer have a good product lines and quality department. If dont check it his product may will banned. Im buying from China directly via aliexpres but not something expensiv, only "onion samples", ofen quality is very good:)

This is a direct result of having so many imports not only from China, but a whole range of countries. As we all know, the USA is the biggest importer of goods in the world, and when it's importing it is getting itself into current account defecits and giving the Chinese control over the US economy. If the Chinese decided to dump their US dollars then the whole economy will just crash into pieces because they have so many US dollars through exporting goods.

US should really produce their own goods, at least to some degree. Though it is obviously not feasible right now since china is still rigorously trying to manipulate its currency to stay competitive - another reason to use the global cryptocurrency bitcoin.

It is not very surprising. The American manufacturers have to deal with all sort of regulations, minimum wage requirements, union agitations, pollution control, employee healthcare, affirmative action.etc. In China they don't have any of this.

China is developed country in case of  technology .its manufacturing process is also good but their quality is not better than other.the chinies things are perform good performance no doubt but only for some time.

For their industrial development, China has paid ecology. The Western countries wanted, so they built a competitor. Now it is very difficult to change something. Yes, the West has the technology, but the production capacity there is no need many years to repair.

Does west even want to compete with China in manufacturing? Everybody is virtue signalling about Chinese doing this or that "wrongly", bad I cant see many western snowlakes standing in lines for factory jobs paying five dollars per hour.

Just my two cents. Criticism of China is legitimate, but I dont see the west retaking initiative this decade.

This is a stereotype that nowadays China is producing goods of bad quality. I can't agree with that. You can't even imagine how many products has been producing and we all use these products every single day. From the other side, it is a true fact that Chinese also produce many unnecessary and bad-quality stuff, but same thing is going on in other countries. Let's face it, Chinese are very smart.

China has very cleverly built the production of all kinds of things and transports them all over the world, I do not see anything wrong with this. I have many Chinese things and they are of good quality.

China products are good as long as it has undergone proper control.
Most of the products that we see today that was made in china are of low quality because they are either fake, pirated, etc.
But those who has undergone proper manufacturing are good.

All electronic item made china. it is factually cheaper and its quality is good .

Maybe because Chine keeps reinventing, innovating and has the low labor cost. Well, there maybe from China products that are low in quality but there were also brands from China that can compete the quality of the US, Europe and other countries. And most of the companies from Japan, US which are very much concern of quality were now branching to China for production of their products because of  low labor costs.

Most of the products now are made in china because the cost of  labor and materials there are cheaper. We can also trust these products when it passed the quality check and it is safe.

Now many products come from china with very affordable price for the middle class down, I think for the quality and the quality of their manufacture must have calculated, and now this era of globalization so visible with technology.

I think china products are low quality. Yes it is cheap and the products are colorful that makes it attractive but contains high chemicals that can poisons to us especially the children who plays the toys and mostly of their products can easily damage. Thats why i dont buy products made in china they dont matter what are the side effect of their products as long as they gain profit.

Because, they can produce it. Lol. But really, We all know that china is really over populated. And this makes it more easy for companies to get labor and pay less because of the number of people willing to do the jobs. Now can we trust products from china?
Well, in the past, we have seen so many pirated products from china. Even toys or other things that can poison. And are you familiar with melamine?? Yes! They put it it milk powders to increase the production! Damn! But day by day they are improving in quality in so many aspects that even big companies trust them with their product name! Imagine that?? Plus their product's quality can now be compared to other countries like us, germany, and etc.
All in all, maybe we can give a bit of trust on their products now.

And that is why even my iphone is designed in California and assembled in China.

 think China's labor force is cheap, so many companies such as Nike, Apple lic, they put the company in China production, because they produce a low cost, can get high profits. I think the quality of Chinese production is good, buy cottage things that can help me save a lot of money. ;D

There were three main reasons. These are:

1. Low labor costs
2. Lax regulations
3. Good quality

#1 and #2 is applicable to a lot of nations. But the products from there lacks quality.

Not all businesses in China can be compared to each other.
There is a big majority that really has learned to produce good stuff.
The living costs still are low in China, so they can produce to lower prices. But the employees are trained and qualified.
You will find no difference from a product being manufactured in one of those companies and one produced in the US.

And then there is the group of product pirates.
They produce crap!
They have low resource quality, unskilled workers, inappropriate working machines.
The big problem in China is the corruption.
Through corruption many of the pad products still make it in the regular market.
And that is why made in China still has that fishy taste.

Yes I agree, anything and everything are made in China.  They can imitate almost everything.  Sometimes if you do not know how to recognize the authentic one you might end up buying an imitation.  And most of the times they are not good in quality compared to the authentic one.  Products made in China easily torn and you are like throwing away your money.

True, Not all products coming from China are great, there are various products that have defect and sometimes are easy to break. Due to mass production, these products have not been checked or tested at all, I don;t know if they have quality control or it just the shipment issue why there are breaks and dents on some products. I am not 100 percent against Chinese products but i find them short term use, meaning i can only use them with a short period of time even if i know that i am being careful.

They are excellent imitators, they create a product of ordinary quality with a price that tends to be very cheap in the market.

Nowadays, almost all of the things that you can see in your home is made from China. Their product is can afford by all because of the cheap materials that they are using. Their product do not last for a long time because of its low quality. People admire it because of the low price of the materials most especially in some appliances wherein if you buy the class a it is very expensive.

China has cheap energy, cheap and available labour and available technology. This is basically all you need to industrialize. China has it all because they have been able to develop their technology cheaply. If Profit is what you need, then set up your enterprise in China

Yes, in first place it was because they were producing cheap stuffs. But now it is not only cheap, but it have good quality.

Well not only that. Being the most populated country in the world, they have the manpower to enter pretty much every industry. Though i'm not sure how the chinese really put emphasis on quality but its not suprising that they have a hand on almost all products

Since made in china products can be made cheaper. We can not always trust products made in china. Yes there might be products made in china that you can trust but still we cant brush the fact that since products in china are made cheap means the materials and ingredients used are also affected. In my opinion their labor is cheaper compared to other countries.

Even though most people are saying Chinese products are bad, every major brand makes their stuffs in China because they can pay lower wages to their factory workers, the problem is not really the location where the products are being made but rather, the equipments being used to make the products that's what really matters.

Yes, I am confuse and wonder too. When I was a kid, I always play with toys and in that toys always written this letters "Made in China". Hahaha, not just toys, but most of electronics device too. Maybe they have the biggest industry around the world. I heard that they have the cheapest price in the world. That is because they make kids to work with them with a low salary. The kids and the employe always work hard for more than 8 hours and still do not get paid enough.

One cannot completely say that China products are bad or good because there are good products that made in China and there are others that are substandard. To my understanding, many suppliers who are looking for high profit will demand for substandard products for their own self interest.

Some of the products, not all im sure you know, is not top notched. But more and more companies would rather have their products assembled in China because hey it's cheap. With the products exclusively made there, alot of the electronics i see made alot if buzz in the market today. I mean would you really mind the product's quality if you got it for a fraction of the cost?

My opinion why almost all product from around world manufacturing in China, China government welcoming overseas investor to build factory without any complicated regulation, the Chinese government thinks if many products are produced in China, then the China people will become its workers, thereby reducing the number of unemployed in China. Many products with famous brands have been produced in China, for example the iPhone from Apple has been produced for years in China.

I am from India, and I can say that the culture of public defecation is slowly changing. People are building toilets near their houses and are defecating in the open with less frequency. And this open defecation issue is present in a lot of the third world nations, and India is not an exception. But the mentality never change. Indians want salary for doing hardly any work. as for me, i suppose not the place where an item is made in matters, but the technology used does. my iphone is made in china, my adidas performance sneakers also, all that is original and made on sertificated factories, and i'm grateful to some chinese workers who made those items for me. everything is well-done, qualified and of a copmaratively low price.

That's because they are using quality materials and have their own QA specialists watching over the process. They are only borrowing the workforce from China to lower the production costs. The same factories are also making cheap motorcycles mainly for Chinese markets and their quality is much lower. That's because they are made from cheap materials, plastics that crack, engine blocks made of weak alloys that die after 3 years of intensive use.
The same factory and the same people are making low and high quality products for different brands at the same time!

Almost every thing are made of China nowadays , their products are cheap but very effective unlike in others ..

Though we have this notion that china made products are fake and not good because they are cheap compared to other country made products, i still believe they produce quality goods. Almost all leading electronic brands had moved to china but still retain their reputation so i believe still nothing change with the quality even though it is made in China aside from those imitations that has no quality at all.

It's good for their economy, that's for sure. Chinese products are ubiquitous for the labor cost in China is one of the cheapest in the world. Factories which process the production of most their items contribute to pollution, in which China couldn't care any less. They deliberately disregard environmental problems to make way for economic development. On the other hand, the quality of Chinese products have been improving over the years.

The labor cost in China is not the cheapest in the world. 10 years back, that used to be the case, but it is no longer true. Labor is cheaper in countries such as India and the Philippines when compared to China. But at the same time, the red tape and bureaucracy is minimal in China. Also, the output from China is having a higher quality when compared to those from the other nations.

Even if we are unsure of what china is becoming one thing is for sure is that they produce cheap labor and that is somethig that a lot of investors and capitalists are setting out for  china has ben a leading power becuase of its ability to take in companies at lower prices and producing quality products

Whenever we heard that the item was made in China we often think that it has a low class quality. And when we saw imitation of branded products we always think that it is China made. While on the other hand there are lot of product that we use that is made in China and used it for so many years.

Hard to say. All I know is that not all of China products are bad. Yes, they are cheap but still quality is good enough. We also have bad and good products, just like every country has. The most important is to choose high-quality goods and it doesn't matter whether they are made in China or not.

Most products are made in China simply because it is cheaper to make them there. However, I think that "made in China" = low quality is slowly disappearing. And we son't really have a lot of choice, but to trust them, since as you say most products are made in China nowadays  :D

Not all products from china is bad, for example is xiaomi brand smartphones, I have 3 times bought it and never broken. The quality is standard but the price is cheaper than other smartphones.

Majority of the products made today are from China or if not, a part of it were from China. I can't see any problem with it.Chinese are benefiting from their competitive advantage, the rest of the world can get U.S. developed products cheaper, and American employees get to focus on higher-value information-oriented jobs

I think what other people think about China products is that they are low quality. For me, it is the wrong mindset. In terms of product, you will only get what you paid for. Others was expecting to have a quality product for a cheap price. :)

Absolutely! Most of our products came from china because of the low price and their manpower. With the word "trust" I don't think so. The quality is not good and very poor.

The products which are made from China are cheaper than other brand made by other countries.  And because China's products are cheaper so many are buying not because of the quality but because of price. Because of that why still there are many countries and people don't like the products of China. I called them wise because why buy cheaper one if it has a law quality.

The thing with China is that they are for quantity and not the quality. That is why things get easily be broken and it is made in China.

If the products are of good quality and meet the requirements, then what is the difference in which country they are produced? In China, there is a scaffolding and efficient production, so their products are competitive.

Here in our country some people had a saying that most made in China, things, stuffs may get broken easily. And the main reason why China is the most productive country is because they have all different materials, they have knowledgeable workers, and China have the most are diligent people when it comes on production. Mostly here in our country, Chinese people are the one's who hold's large companies, businesses, merchants etc. which only proof that they are skillful and strategic. But you know what, the only problem of Chinese people is that they are a little bit stingy, so some materials they used on products can be easily broken. And I think if it continues it is not a good thing, not only for China but also for those countries importing products to them. But I think it is also a good thing because innovation still start to them and all we have to do is to improve it.

I love huawei, their cellphone produce Huawei is really a competitor in terms of gadget and they are releasing cellphone that can compete with samsung and ihopnes! besides that i dont think any product to be trust , CHINA mades are mostly FAKES and ruin the markets! they also produce fake foods from plastic which are very bad to people's health.

They are a fast rising manufacturer and merchandiser of many product...you can see their product everywhere in cheaper prize and they are proud of it, they dare to compete wih other product from other well know country.. But sometimes they imitate product and because of the high demand their mass production become at risk because of quantity instead of quality.

There are many opportunity to do anything you want and their relation with other nation is so good so they can make anything and send these to different countries. These products are not better than Japanese products but we can use these products without any hesitation.

I'm not against in china but when it comes to product their base is into quantity not quality. although its cheaper but almost of their product is easily to break. even foods, here in the Philippines there's a lots of fake vegetables and rice that are originated in china. so be careful when buying china's product.

Among them there are those who make efficiency and clever in this field. for example making the case / sarong smartphone requires molding (base mold) to print the shape of the casing. Molding is expensive and should be replaced after printing tens of thousands of casing / sarong, because the shape began to change and may produce molds are defective.

this used molding will be bought again by the maker of the casing / glove smartphone with lower quality level, and reused to make the casing with a cheaper price. That's one example, why we can buy similar casing, with different price .

Products are made in China because it's cheap. I don't see anything bad in it. Businesses save money and China strengthen its position. And not all products are of bad quality so we can trust them

Yes, based on what I've heard on the news, it would not be feasible to make synthetic rice, even if it could be possible to make it will takes a lot of expensive chemicals in which it would make the price much higher than ordinary rice. I also agree with you about the quality of some products made in china, it was really disappointing when other people see you are using a product made in china and they will judge or criticize you for the product you use. 

The wages are already quite high in China (at least when compared to the neighboring nations such as India and Myanmar). The advantage with China is that the productivity is quite high for the workers there. And also, they are able to maintain a very satisfactory quality level despite the huge volumes. Lack of corruption and bureaucracy adds to another advantage.

Because labor is cheaper in China. And I think things that are made there are not 100% fake or untrustworthy.

These companies are all about making profits and they don't care where their assembly is at all, As long as they are paying less, it's okay with them. As as another country comes where they can pay cheap labour cost and raw materials, they are bound to move their operations in to that country as well.

Businesses are now outsourcing mostly to manufacturing facilities in China. Because the labor and materials are cheaper than other countries. Some of the products made in China have a good quality and some of them are not. Depends on the products.

Whether this is god or not, we have no choise, market dictate its rules and we comply to it, I think there is nothing bad that China do such a boom nowadays.

China  has copied  a lot of international brands, the coast is cheaper but the quality is not the same but if you do not have money you can decided to buy something made in China.You will see many differences !!!

It's true. I am having a Xiaomi Redmi phone and many of its features closely resemble that of the Apple iPhone. I am not complaining, as it cost me less than 20% of that of an iPhone. The root cause is the price difference. The Apple guys are too greedy and they want a 50% profit margin. If they lower their profit margin, then there will be less copying and counterfeiting.

There are a lot of factors which made China a hub of manufacturing activity. The first and foremost reason is that corruption and red tape is very low in China. The second factor is that an average Chinese worker is much more productive when compared to those in other countries such as India, Philippines or Bangladesh. And finally, China is the leading producer of REE (Rare earth elements), which are used in the production of smartphones, laptops.etc.

Maybe because the cost of labor in China are cheaper than from other countries. However, those products which are owned by big companies from Japan, US, Europe etc, passes the quality standards of their countries, so you don't have to worry about the quality.
