why most products now are made in China? can we trust these products?

Businesses are now outsourcing mostly to manufacturing facilities in China. Because the labor and materials are cheaper than other countries. Some of the products made in China have a good quality and some of them are not. Depends on the products.

It's true. I am having a Xiaomi Redmi phone and many of its features closely resemble that of the Apple iPhone. I am not complaining, as it cost me less than 20% of that of an iPhone. The root cause is the price difference. The Apple guys are too greedy and they want a 50% profit margin. If they lower their profit margin, then there will be less copying and counterfeiting.

That is true, many products from China are now scattered all over the country. It is more cheaper than the real one and see the difference but practicality speaking since i am not rich and can't afford some branded phones, i will definitely buy china made products.

There are a lot of factors which made China a hub of manufacturing activity. The first and foremost reason is that corruption and red tape is very low in China. The second factor is that an average Chinese worker is much more productive when compared to those in other countries such as India, Philippines or Bangladesh. And finally, China is the leading producer of REE (Rare earth elements), which are used in the production of smartphones, laptops.etc.

Maybe because the cost of labor in China are cheaper than from other countries. However, those products which are owned by big companies from Japan, US, Europe etc, passes the quality standards of their countries, so you don't have to worry about the quality.

Most products are made in China as the labor there is literally cheaper. By doing that, the company is able to save a lot of money which can be used for something else. But even if the products are from China, it might've just been assembled there only.

people can no longer judge "quality", now cheap & expensive products are made in China and so they lost any long term quality guarantee. It feels no matter how much you pay, the product will break much quicker than in your (grand)parent's day, when you had quality brands and cheap brands

this is not the Chinese's fault, it's the companies that go for short term gains, remember when a washing machines lasted 20-30 years

Labor costs in China are lower than those in the United States, European Union.etc, but it is much higher when compared to those in the Asian nations such as Cambodia, India, Bangladesh and Indonesia. The advantage with China is that the productivity is very high and there is minimal involvement of the unions and the authorities.

Apple devices are all assembled there. Do you have problems with your iPhone or iPad or etc.? Sure, it doesn't mean plastic toys are expected to be of the same quality. Anyway, China-produced goods are cheaper because of Chinese workers' labour being estimated cheaper.
