He provided all the correct information that was provided to me when you placed the order. In the future you should make sure to change you account password on a regular basis and when sending your personal info through a public forum that's at a high risk of hacking I always recommend sending any sensitive info via privnote to ensure anyone who compromises your account is not able to retrieve that information. While I sympathize with you for your loss I did what I could to validate the request I was informed you had a major emergency and needed to cancel the transaction. I had already shipped the package I had to call UPS in order to cancel the shipment which at the time was me going the extra mile to try and help you out. I am sorry that you got hacked should I now also take a loss because of your improper handling of your account?

My account got hacked and they scammed mindtrip, it is his fault if he refunded money to the scammers. He got scammed not me ! It's his problem if his head decided to give money to random accounts.
I start to believe that he never shipped my miner because he is not providing the tracking number.

No, you said he refunded to a random person address. If you knew he didnt refund anyone you wouldnt be whining like you are now.

If you dont have the tracking number, how would you know if he recalled the package unless he told you? How would he have told you if your first account was hacked?

Again, the only person here that is at fault is you. Its not his fault your account was hacked, nor is it his fault that he refunded any coins (according to you anyway) and its not really the mods or admins job to verify if you have been hacked, especially since you cant sign a message to validate ownership of the account.

mindtrip told me that he recall my package and to forget my money because he refund them to the hackers.

From Friday I don't have any more access to my KNCFUN account, I was online and then the hackers or some forum people took over my account, change my email so I can not recover it. I contacted to admin every day since last Friday in order to recover my account and he is not answering.
To me the case is smelling organize team scam from the inside.

@kilo17 You can't say the refund was not sent for sure. The address receiving LTCs could have possibly be his exchange deposit address. He could refund using other one. Nevertheless he did not provide ( as far as I can see) the refunding txid.

I'm not defending anybody here. Seems like pitty situation with mistakes done on both sides. So far I'm more on the side of mindetrip but I do not have enough info to be totally sure (check point1 addressed to NORWUSA below)

Hacked account is definitely error on the owner side. Can't blaim the opposite side. People just do not expect they are communicating with hacker.
For myself even different refunding address (from the sending one) Is not sign of hacked account. Actually I would never return the coins back to sending address without confirmation from the counter party as you never know whether the address is under his control (he could be paying using online wallet where usually sending address is not actually your depositing address ... exchanges for example). We all know this not the best way (as then is hard to prove you were the sender) but people makes weird things, so you have to count with it.

@NORWUSA I understand losing 3k USD is very serious (for me it's lot of money too) but your way of making multiple threads, spreading information all across the board and accussating mods/admin does not help to solve the situation at all.

1 - You should have made clear scam accusation thread, provide details  etc. where everybody can independently investigate and give his opinion. I know it's not gonna return you the money, but at least we can find out who is the scammer and mark him red. (sorry, I found it during writing this post but decide to keep this para as it reflects my opinion why such thread should be  made)

2 - To recover your account there is guide how to proceed (sticky thread in meta section) I doubt admin or moderator has time to care your issues without serious proofs ( give them enough info so they can be sure you are saying truth)
Unclear PMs with questions or messages full of insults won't help you at all. Again I understand you are angry, but it's not their fault (most probably) and you should be polite to third party if you expect any help.   

3 - Escrow, always use the escrow. I'm not a good example as I have made the very same trade without it but luckily for me all went smooth (thanks killo17 I'm glad for it).

No offense to anybody. As a third party I would love to contribute solving this issue, pointing the scammer but it's quite unclear what actually happened.



This seems to be the turning point. If mindtrip is aware he dealt with scammers you should both cooperate with authorities to try to catch the offender.

P.S. Im sorry for the long speech above. It was made before your last post. Cost me some time and contains so many of my opinions I did not wanted to just delete it.

People have their accounts hack before or have been scammed. Youre no different nor given special treatement. So go on and report to the police, fbi, or whoever. To be honest its almost like youre just all talk. Your story is very mixed and its like you dont even know what you want to say.


You can post logs, and mindtrip can also post logs as well (or confirm your statement). People gift money all the time in transactions. Usually as a tip, so it doesnt sound fishy, and to be honest, it is your fault. Your account got hacked. Its your fault you have your account hacked, not his. If your account didnt get hacked, you wouldnt be out of anything, and I still do not believe your account was hacked. There is little proof, you have yet to provide a sign message with ownership of that account (because you cant afterall), and I also still find it weird you have two (and possibly more) accounts.

So again, you can stop posting, or post something that make sense because youre clearly not making any sense right now. First he refunded the scammers, next he didnt, now he did, now youre saying he was able to keep $300 worth of ltc. Heck, I even check the blockchain and unless this blockchain i am using is not working (https://bchain.info/LTC/tx/fd0c8302bdb5a4192b956687aa048429669128e337d68fe65cd06308e1613328), I do not see your "LLCMHpbw1sDnLHJ9APsnfiWue1rtrPCeJB" anywhere in the transaction you mention.

For transparency post the transaction that you refunded to him or the hackers. Once that can be verified and it matches the date you said you executed the transaction then it is pretty clear.

If your account was hacked then mindtrip would have no way of knowing that your account was hacked. He simply fulfilled the request since he was interacting with the original account.  Unfortunately he would not be at fault in this case since he was not intentionally malicious.

From your point of view mindtrip has not even sent back a refund  based on the address but he could have used another wallet. Once he posts the transaction for all to see that the refund request was made then you would be better off marking it off as a expensive but unfortunate lost since your account got hacked.
